Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia said that BJP leaders and PM Narendra Modi have lost trust of the people. Hence BJP has released a doctored video of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal on the farm laws. They know that Indian public places lot of faith in Shri Arvind Kejriwal. BJP has failed in all its machinations against the farmers, hence they plotted a new scheme by riding on Kejriwal’s popularity. Aam Aadmi Party will take a legal action against BJP for their cheap tactics.
Deputy CM Shri Sisodia was speaking at a press conference organised at Aam Aadmi Party’s head office. He said that all the BJP leaders including all its Chief Ministers and PM Modi have lost trust. Indian public not only mistrusts them but also detests them for their cheap tactics. They have resorted to malign Shri Arvind Kejriwal, who’s the only leader with credibility amongst masses.
Deputy CM Shri Sisodia said that yesterday BJP had tweeted a video claiming that CM Arvind Kejriwal has supported the three farm laws. This doctored video was created by selectively editing a long interview of Shri Kejriwal and placing fake bytes in some places.
At the press conference, Deputy CM Shri Sisodia showed the real interview of Shri Kejriwal along with the doctored video, highlighting the tampered parts in the doctored video. He said that he was initially angered at BJP’s tactics who had to doctor an interview which was aired on television. But then I felt pity for them. Despite having their government at the Centre and in many states as well as having PM Modi as their leader, they have lost people’s trust and hence they have to use Arvind Kejriwal’s fake video to save the farm laws. Today, BJP’s credibility is at all time low and they have to use Kejriwal’s doctored statements to protect their farm laws.
Deputy CM Shri Sisodia said that despite being in power, BJP is feeling helpless as people have lost trust in BJP leadership. PM Modi has enumerated the benefits of farm laws on several occasions, but farmers have understood that they are being cheated. When BJP couldn’t explain the farm laws to the farmers, it started branding them traitors and Khalistani. Then BJP conducted a sponsored protest at the Red Fort and disrespected the national flag. Now, Indian public has understood BJP’s ill-intentions and does not believe in their conspiracies.
Deputy CM Shri Sisodia said that when these theatrics didn’t work, BJP sent its goons at the Ghazipur border who attacked the farmers and their respected leader Rakesh Tikait. BJP sent its goons to Singhu border where they disrespected the Sikh community by throwing their turbans and attacked the protesting farmers. They tried to portray it as an attack by the locals, but thankfully Indian public saw through this and has understood BJP’s tactics.
Deputy CM Shri Sisodia said that Indian public detests BJP for stooping so low. All the BJP leaders have failed and lost the public trust. That’s why, people are not believing BJP’s Chief Ministers and even PM Modi. BJP knows that Kejriwal is the only leader with credibility and hence they have used his doctored interview to create false impression among the people. Aam Aadmi Party will not allow such machinations by the BJP and will take a legal action against them.
