The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its volunteers erupted in jubilation today as the Delhi government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, emerged victorious in a historic legal tussle against the Central Government over the issue of ‘Services.’ The Supreme Court’s landmark decision has granted the elected government control over the transfer and posting of officers in Delhi, reaffirming the people’s mandate. The triumphant atmosphere mirrored the vibrant festivities of Holi, with party supporters taking to the streets adorned in vibrant Abeer-Gulal, exuding an undeniable spirit of triumph and unity. The AAP’s headquarters and the Delhi Secretariat witnessed an overflow of joy, as the victory was hailed as a significant milestone in the party’s relentless pursuit of justice and good governance.
Amidst the resounding cheers and spirited chants, Delhi Cabinet Ministers enthusiastically welcomed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with garlands and laddoos upon his arrival at the Secretariat. A significant gathering of Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers also congregated outside the premises of the Secretariat to extend a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. Simultaneously, the AAP’s headquarters became the epicentre of an immense celebration, echoing the sentiment of triumph and joy.
The resounding decision of the Supreme Court generated an atmosphere of jubilation throughout the Secretariat, with people dancing to the rhythmic beats of drums, their elation manifesting the relief and joy that this historic ruling brought.
In commemoration of this monumental triumph for Delhi, the ministers of the Delhi Government accorded a warm welcome to CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal at the Delhi Secretariat, adorning him with flower garlands. With congratulations bestowed upon the Chief Minister, the ministers sweetened the moment by offering laddoos as a gesture of felicitation. Subsequently, the Chief Minister proceeded to his office where he held a meeting with the ministers, discussing the future strategy of the government in light of this transformative decision.
The Secretariat witnessed an influx of numerous MLAs who arrived to extend their heartfelt congratulations to the Chief Minister, further amplifying the collective euphoria and unity among the AAP ranks.
After this, the CM went to meet the Lieutenant Governor around 4 PM, expressing his commitment to work in unity for the state.
