A total of 158 students from these schools have successfully qualified for JEE Advanced, with 82 of these bright minds hailing from the prestigious Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Schools of Specialized Excellence (SoSE). This outstanding achievement highlights the transformative impact of the Kejriwal government’s educational initiatives, setting a new benchmark for government schools’ academic excellence nationwide.
Let us tell you that in the last 5 years, the number of students qualifying JEE Advanced in Kejriwal government schools has increased continuously. In 2020, this number was only 53. That is, in the last 5 years, the number of students qualifying JEE Advanced from Delhi government schools has increased almost 3 times.
On this occasion, Delhi Education Minister Ms. Atishi congratulated all the students, their teachers and parents for this phenomenal achievement. “With their hard work and talent, the children of our schools have proved that they are no less than anyone. With their excellent performance, our students have not only made their family, their school but the whole of Delhi proud,” she said.
The Delhi Education Minister mentioned, “Under the vision of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, our students are getting the facility of world-class coaching and preparation in school itself. The Arvind Kejriwal model of education has given the opportunity to even the children of the poorest sections to dream big and fulfil them by providing them with world-class education. The result of this is that today the dream of children from the poorest families of Delhi to go to IIT is being fulfilled.”
“The doorway has now been opened for these students who have performed brilliantly in JEE Advanced from Delhi Government schools to get admission in IITs and other top engineering institutes of the country, from where after completing their studies, these students will become famous engineers of the future and will bring glory to the country,” She expressed.
Minister Atishi also congratulated Team Education and said that to fulfil the vision of the Chief Minister of providing excellent education to every child in Delhi, Team Education of Delhi has worked hard day and night. The achievement of our students today is the result of these efforts of Team Education.
