Delhi’s business community is openly supporting the Aam Aadmi Party and eagerly waiting to press the Jhaadu button on December 4. AAP Delhi Trade Wing Convenor Shri Brijesh Goyal said, “When AAP’s government is formed in MCD, we will solve all the problems of 20 lakh traders of Delhi. Traders never openly come into politics but now they are contacting the Aam Aadmi Party saying they want to join the AAP Trade Wing. Aam Aadmi Party will give tickets to traders for MCD elections and happily induct them into the party.” While, MLA Shri Rajesh Gupta said, “BJP-ruled MCD did not look after road construction, lighting, bench installation in any market; all the work was done from AAP MLA’s funds. Assure the traders that CM Arvind Kejriwal will transform MCD like he transformed Delhi Government.”
Shri Brijesh Goyal said, “20 lakh traders of Delhi are eagerly waiting to press the Jhaadu button on December 4 to bring the Kejriwal government to the MCD so that they can get rid of 15 years of BJP’s misrule and corruption. When the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed in MCD, we will take all steps necessary to uplift the trading community of Delhi.”
He added, “Cleanliness has been a major problem in markets. For the last 15 years, there have been heaps of garbage everywhere because of MCD. On big festivals like Diwali, we see that there are mounds of garbage everywhere in the markets. When the Aam Aadmi Party government comes to MCD, we will ensure that cleanliness is taken care of in all the markets of Delhi. In the last 15 years, the BJP has taken crores of rupees from the traders of Delhi in the name of conversion and parking charges. But in return parking was not provided in any market. When the government of the Aam Aadmi Party is formed in MCD, then parking will be arranged in the markets in collaboration with the market association.”
He also said, “Various types of taxes are charged by MCD. Such as house tax, trade licence fee, waste management fee, sign board fee, and factory license fee. In the last 15 years, BJP has increased such taxes by 20 percent to 30 percent, and sometimes even by 50 percent. We will ensure that when the Aam Aadmi Party is in power in MCD, we will not allow any licence fee to be increased. Sealing has been a huge issue in the last 15 years. The BJP-ruled MCD sealed the shops in the name of conversion fee and other charges from place to place in the markets. Even today thousands of shops are sealed in the markets of Delhi. The shops were not opened despite tax collection from the traders. When the Aam Aadmi Party government will be formed in MCD, then no shop will be allowed to be sealed in any market by MCD and every effort will be made to open all the old sealed shops.”
He concluded, “It is generally said that the BJP has a traditional vote bank in the form of traders. This time there is a lot of enthusiasm among the traders of Delhi. Traders are approaching the Aam Aadmi Party in large numbers. Hundreds of traders have also applied for MCD tickets. The traders of Delhi are ready for change. I think this is a big step, because traders never come into politics openly, but this time Delhi traders have approached the Aam Aadmi Party and AAP Trade Wing that they want to join us. We will also induct traders in the party and many businessmen will also be given tickets in the elections.”
At the same time, MLA Shri Rajesh Gupta said, “BJP is called the party of traders but the truth is that BJP does not allow traders to do business at ease. All works like road construction, lighting, installation benches etc. in any market was not done by the MCD, but by the MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party from their MLA fund. BJP did not even look after the cleanliness and parking in the markets. Now it is time to bring the AAP to MCD and change things once and for all.”He concluded, “Traders want to do business freely. That is why they have declared that on December 4, they will defeat the BJP in the MCD elections and make the Aam Aadmi Party win. I would like to tell the traders of Delhi to not be afraid. I assure the traders that CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal will transform MCD like he transformed Delhi Government.”

आप” ट्रेड विंग के दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक बृजेश गोयल ने आज कहा कि एमसीडी में सरकार बनने पर आम आदमी पार्टी दिल्ली के 20 लाख व्यापारियों की सारी परेशानियों को दूर करेगी। दिल्ली का व्यापारी वर्ग खुलकर ‘आप’ का समर्थन कर रहा है और 4 दिसंबर को झाड़ू की बटन दबाने का इंतजार कर रहा है। व्यापारी कभी खुलकर राजनीति में नहीं आते हैं, लेकिन अब उन्होंने आम आदमी पार्टी और ‘आप’ ट्रेडिंग से संपर्क किया है कि वह जुड़ना चाहते हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी व्यापारियों को जोड़ने के साथ उन्हें एमसीडी चुनाव के लिए टिकट भी देगी। वहीं ‘आप’ विधायक राजेश गुप्ता ने कहा कि किसी भी बाजार में रोड बनाने, लाइट लगाने, बेंच लगाने आदि काम बीजेपी एमसीडी द्वारा नहीं कराने पर सभी काम ‘आप’ विधायक फंड से कराए गए। व्यापारियों को भरोसा देता हूं कि जैसे अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने दिल्ली सरकार में काम किया है वैसे ही एमसीडी में भी काम करेंगे।
“आप” ट्रेड विंग के दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक बृजेश गोयल ने गुरुवार को पार्टी मुख्यालय में प्रेसवार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली के 20 लाख व्यापारी बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे हैं कि 4 दिसंबर को झाड़ू की बटन दबाकर एमसीडी में केजरीवाल सरकार को लाना है जिससे उन्हें बीजेपी के 15 साल के कुशासन और भ्रष्टाचार से मुक्ति मिल सके। एमसीडी में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनने पर हम व्यापारियों के लिए क्या-क्या कदम उठाएंगे, इसपर बात करेंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि एमसीडी के बाजारों में सफाई बहुत बड़ी समस्या रही है। पिछले 15 सालों से जगह-जगह कूड़े के ढेर लगे रहते हैं। दिवाली जैसे बड़े त्योहारों पर हमने देखा कि बाजारों में जगह-जगह कूड़े के ढेर लगे हुए थे। आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार एमसीडी में आएगी तो हम सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि दिल्ली के तमाम बाजारों में साफ सफाई का ध्यान रखा जाए। पिछले 15 सालों में भाजपा ने कन्वर्जन और पार्किंग शुल्क के नाम पर करोड़ों रुपए दिल्ली के व्यापारियों से लिए। लेकिन बदले में किसी भी बाजार में पार्किंग मुहैया नहीं कराई। आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार एमसीडी में बनेगी तो बाजारों में मार्केट एसोसिएशन के साथ मिलकर पार्किंग की व्यवस्था की जाएगी।
एमसीडी के अंतर्गत कई तरह के टैक्स आते हैं, जैसे कि हाउस टैक्स, ट्रेड लाइसेंस फीस, वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट शुल्क, साइनेट बोर्ड शुल्क, फैक्ट्री लाइसेंस फीस। बीजेपी ने पिछले 15 सालों में कभी 20 फीसद, कभी 30 फीसद, तो कभी 50 फीसद फीस बढ़ाई गई। हम सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि जब एमसीडी में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार होगी तो किसी भी तरह के लाइसेंस की फीस हम बढ़ने नहीं देंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले 15 सालों में सीलिंग एक बहुत बड़ा मुद्दा रहा है। बीजेपी शासित एमसीडी ने बाजारों में जगह-जगह कन्वर्जन शुल्क और दूसरे शुल्कों के नाम पर दुकानों को सील किया। आज भी हजारों दुकानें दिल्ली के बाजारों में सील पड़ी हैं। व्यापारियों से उगाही के बावजूद दुकानों को खोला नहीं गया। आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार एमसीडी में बनेगी, तो हम सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि एमसीडी की तरफ से किसी भी बाजार में, किसी भी दुकान को सील नहीं होने दिया जाएगा और पुरानी सभी सील दुकानों को खुलवाने की पूरी कोशिश की जाएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि अमूमन ऐसा कहा जाता है कि भाजपा का परंपरागत वोट बैंक रहा है। इस बार दिल्ली के व्यापारियों में बहुत बड़ा जोश है। व्यापारी बड़ी संख्या में आम आदमी पार्टी से संपर्क कर रहे हैं। सैकड़ों की तादाद में व्यापारियों ने एमसीडी टिकट के लिए भी आवेदन किया है। दिल्ली के व्यापारी बदलाव के लिए तैयार हैं। मुझे लगता है कि यह बहुत बड़ा कदम है, क्योंकि व्यापारी कभी भी खुलकर राजनीति में नहीं आते हैं, लेकिन इस बार दिल्ली के व्यापारियों ने आम आदमी पार्टी और ‘आप’ ट्रेडिंग से संपर्क किया है कि वह जुड़ना चाहते हैं। हम व्यापारियों को पार्टी में शामिल भी करेंगे और बहुत सारे व्यापारियों को चुनाव में टिकट भी दिया जाएगा।
वहीं, ‘आप’ विधायक राजेश गुप्ता ने कहा कि भाजपा व्यापारियों की पार्टी है लेकिन सच्चाई यह है कि भाजपा ने व्यापारियों को व्यापार नहीं करने दिया। खुद ही व्यापार करते रहे। जो काम निगम के अंतर्गत होना चाहिए था, किसी भी बाजार में रोड बनाने, लाइट लगाने, बेंच लगाने आदि सभी काम निगम ने नहीं, बल्कि आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायकों ने विधायक फंड से कराए। लेकिन हम वहां की साफ सफाई और पार्किंग में नहीं मदद कर पाते थे। एमसीडी में ‘आप’ की सरकार बनने पर हम वह भी काम कर पाएंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि व्यापारी खुलकर व्यापार करना चाहते हैं। इसलिए वह एलान कर चुके हैं कि 4 दिसंबर को वह भाजपा को निगम के चुनाव में हराएंगे और आम आदमी पार्टी को जिताएंगे। मैं दिल्ली के व्यापारियों से कहना चाहूंगा कि डरे नहीं, हम भरोसा देते हैं कि जैसे अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने दिल्ली सरकार में काम किया है, वैसे ही एमसीडी में भी काम करेंगे।
