Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia placed Supplementary Demand For Grants before the Delhi Assembly on Thursday. While presenting the demands, he said that the CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal led government will not let roadblocks hamper Delhi’s development. Among the highlights, to expedite the work of cleaning the Yamuna, which is the priority project of the CM, the Delhi Assembly approved a supplementary grant of Rs 1,028 crore for the project and the Delhi Jal Board. Shri Manish Sisodia said, “LG made every possible effort to stop the work of cleaning Yamuna by putting pressure on the officers, despite the approval of the budget from the House, the funds to Delhi Jal Board were stopped. No matter how hard BJP and LG try to stop the work, the Delhi government will not stop the work of Delhiites.”
The Delhi Assembly also approved additional grants of Rs 100 crore for roadworks under Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana. The PWD got an additional grant of 800 crores for road maintenance, construction of additional classrooms, and re-modelling of hospitals. While grants of Rs 50 crores for Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, Rs 75 crores for SC-ST Welfare were also approved by the assembly.
While presenting the proposal in the house, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia said, “The LG made every possible effort to stop the work of cleaning the Yamuna by putting pressure on the officers. Despite the budget being approved by the House, the works of the Delhi Jal Board were stopped. They tried to stop the projects earlier. When the projects did not stop, they stopped the funds, but the work of cleaning Yamuna is still on. The Delhi government will never let the work of cleaning the Yamuna stop.” He shared that the government has not only got money released to the Delhi Jal Board but has also released an additional budget of Rs 1028 crore for cleaning the Yamuna. So that the work of cleaning the Yamuna can be expedited.
Shri Manish Sisodia said that the work of cleaning Yamuna will not be stopped. Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has said that Yamuna will be cleaned before the next elections at any cost. The Kejriwal government will do whatever it takes to ensure this. The Delhi government is working on a war footing in this direction. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself is keeping a close watch on the work of cleaning drainage and sewage treatment plants in Delhi. He is regularly taking the progress report on them from the concerned officials.
To ensure the cleaning of the Yamuna in the stipulated time, an additional fund of Rs 1028 crore is being given to the Delhi Jal Board to expedite the work of cleaning the Yamuna. He said that no matter how hard the BJP and the LG try, the Delhi government will not let the work of cleaning the Yamuna stop. Shri Arvind Kejriwal has said that Yamuna will be cleaned for sure.
It is to be noted that in addition to the supplementary grant for the cleaning of Yamuna, to increase the pace of progress of Delhi and expedite the works of public interest the Delhi Assembly has given an additional fund of Rs 100 crore in the Mukhyamantri Sadak Yojana for the year 2022-23, Rs 49 crores for trans-Yamuna area work, about 800 crores additional funds to PWD for road maintenance, construction of additional classrooms, re-modeling of hospitals etc., Rs 75 crores for irrigation and flood control department, Rs 8 crores for Chhath Ghats, an additional amount of Rs 25 crores for giving Rs 1 crore honorarium to martyrs, additional Rs 50 crores for Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, Rs 75 crores for SCST Welfare, 50 crores for DGHS, Rs 364 crores for hospital fund, Rs 78 crores for higher education, Rs 199 crores for Samagr Shiksha, Rs 130 crores for the uniform subsidy, Rs 114 crores for mid-day meal scheme, Rs 60 crores for the law department, Rs. 10 crore under the government’s scheme for the betterment of lawyers and Rs. 311 crores for various works of Delhi High Court and Civil Court.

मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी के यमुना को साफ़ करने के विज़न को गति देने की दिशा में गुरुवार को दिल्ली विधानसभा में यमुना की सफाई व दिल्ली जलबोर्ड के लिए सदन द्वारा 1028 करोड़ रूपये के पूरक अनुदान को मंजूरी दी गई| उपमुख्यमंत्री व जलमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने यमुना सफाई के लिए पूरक अनुदान की मांग को सदन पटल पर रखा और सदन ने इसे मंजूरी दी|
इस मौके पर उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि एलजी साहब ने अफसरों पर दबाव बनाकर यमुना सफाई के काम को रोकने का हर संभव प्रयास किया| सदन से बजट मंजूर होने के बावजूद जलबोर्ड के काम रोके गए| इन्होने पहले प्रोजेक्ट्स को रोकने का प्रयास किया| प्रोजेक्ट्स नहीं रुके तो इन्होने फण्ड रोक दिए लेकिन यमुना की सफाई का काम जारी है| दिल्ली सरकार यमुना की सफाई का काम कभी रुकने नहीं देगी| उन्होंने साझा किया कि सरकार ने दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के रुके पैसों को तो जारी करवा ही दिया है साथ ही यमुना की सफाई के लिए 1028 करोड़ रूपये का एडिशनल बजट भी जारी किया है| ताकि यमुना को साफ़ करने के कामों में तेजी लाइ जा सकें|
श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि यमुना की सफाई का काम रुकना नहीं है| मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी ने कहा है अगले चुनावों से पहले यमुना साफ़ होकर रहेगी तो यमुना साफ़ होकर रहेगी| इसके लिए जो भी करना पड़े- जैसे भी करना पड़े हम करेंगे| दिल्ली सरकार इस दिशा में युद्धस्तर पर काम कर रही है| उन्होंने बताया कि स्वयं मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी ने यमुना की सफाई को अपनी प्राथमिकता बनाते हुए स्वयं हर एक पहलू पर बारीकी से नजर बनाए रखी है और रोजाना 1-1 नाले उसकी, सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट काम कर रहा है या नहीं, कितना काम कर रहा है, ट्रीटटेड पानी कहा जा रहा है आदि के विषय में अधिकारीयों से प्रोग्रेस रिपोर्ट लेते है व उसकी जांच करते है|
इस दिशा में यमुना को साफ़ करने के काम को और तेजी से बढाने के लिए दिल्ली जल बोर्ड को 1028 करोड़ रूपये का एडिशनल फंड दिया जा रहा है| उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा और एलजी चाहे जितने प्रयास कर ले दिल्ली सरकार यमुना साफ़ करने के काम को रुकने नहीं देगी| अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी ने कह दिया है कि यमुना साफ़ होगी तो ये जरुर साफ़ होगी|
बता दे कि यमुना सफाई के लिए पूरक अनुदान के अतिरिक्त सरकार द्वारा दिल्ली के तरक्की की गति को बढाने व लोकहित के कामों में तेजी लाने की श्रृंखला में दिल्ली विधानसभा द्वारा वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए मुख्यमंत्री सड़क योजना में 100 करोड़ रूपये के अतिरिक्त फंड, ट्रांस-यमुना एरिया वर्क के लिए 49 करोड़, पीडब्ल्यूडी के रोड मेनटेनेंस,अतिरिक्त क्लासरूम निर्माण, अस्पतालों के री-मॉडलिंग आदि के लिए लगभग 800 करोड़ के अतिरिक्त फंड, सिंचाई एवं बाढ़ नियंत्रण विभाग के लिए 75 करोड़, छठ घाटों के लिए 8 करोड़, शहीदों को 1-1 करोड़ रूपये की सम्मान राशी देने के मद में 25 करोड़ की अतिरिक्त राशी, मुख्यमंत्री तीर्थ यात्रा योजना के लिए अतिरिक्त 50 करोड़, एससीएसटी वेलफेयर के लिए 75 करोड़,डीजीएचएस के लिए 50 करोड़, अस्पतालों के फंड के लिए 364 करोड़ रूपये ,उच्च शिक्षा के लिए 78 करोड़ ,समग्र शिक्षा अभियान के लिए 199 करोड़, यूनिफार्म सब्सिडी के लिए 130 करोड़, मिड डे मील के लिए 114 करोड़, लॉ डिपार्टमेंट के लिए 60 करोड़, वकीलों की बेहतरी के लिए केजरीवाल सरकर योजना के तहत 10 करोड़ रूपये व दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट व सिविल कोर्ट के विभिन्न मदों के लिए 311 करोड़ रूपये के अतिरिक्त फंड को मंजूरी दी गई|
