The Aam Aadmi Party held a Sankalp Sabha under their ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign in Mehrauli Assembly of South Delhi Lok Sabha on Thursday. The Sankalp Sabha was led by senior AAP leader and Cabinet Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot. The people are extremely angry with the illegal imprisonment of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal and they pledged to give answer to the BJP by voting against it. Shri Kailash Gahlot appealed to the people of Delhi and said that if you strengthen Shri Arvind Kejriwal at the Centre, he will be able to do better work in Delhi. If there are the Aam Aadmi Party MPs in the Parliament, we will get strength and Shri Arvind Kejriwal will come out soon. He said that opposition leaders are being arrested across the country and governments are being toppled. Anyone who speaks against the BJP is picked up by the ED, CBI. We have to fight for our rights.
Shri Kailash Gahlot said that this is a very important election. We all have to fight this election together. Today the opposition is being eliminated across the country. Governments are being toppled all over the country. Shri Hemant Soren was arrested, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal was arrested. Whoever raises their voice against the BJP is picked up by the ED, CBI. If we want to save our rights, we will have to fight. The BJP is not fighting elections on the basis of development. If they had been contesting elections based on work and development, they would not have to cut tickets. Because they knew that if the same candidates were given tickets again, the public would not allow them to even enter their streets. Therefore, the BJP is asking for votes by fielding a new face so that they can trouble the people of Delhi again.
Shri Kailash Gahlot appealed to the public and said that they should vote for their brother and son Shri Sahiram Pahalwan. He is a very simple person who will come to solve your problems on your call. Just as he used to beat his opponents in wrestling with his powerful moves, in the same way he will defeat his opposition candidates in the elections. Today, electric buses operate all over Delhi, connecting villages. Delhi government will work more strongly in the coming years. But if you send the Aam Aadmi Party MPs in the central government too, your work will be done in a much better way. We will have more strength and Shri Arvind Kejriwal will come out of jail soon.
Shri Sahiram Pahalwan, the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from South Delhi, said that what is the use of voting for leaders who disappear after winning the elections. Everyone knows the work that the Aam Aadmi Party government has done in Delhi in the last 9 years. Most of the work is done in Delhi, hence these people are showing us the fear of the ED and CBI. I have been an MLA for many years, so I know all the problems here better and have the ability to solve them. A lot of work was done in Delhi under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal. People got free electricity, water, and women got free bus travel facility. Good schools and hospitals were built, Mohalla clinics were built. The health facilities of Delhi are much better than the Ayushmann Bharat scheme. In this, more and better facilities are provided than the central government.
He said that the Modi government had promised to end inflation and bring good days. But they increased inflation further. If someone speaks against the Prime Minister, he is tagged as a traitor. He (PM) mortgaged everything in the country. Government jobs were abolished. He made big scamsters join the BJP. All their cases were closed once they joined the BJP. They are raising slogans of crossing 400 seats, ‘400 Paar’, while the entire country is preparing to uproot them. If Shri Arvind Kejriwal has done any work for you, then he will definitely be released from jail and the INDIA alliance will win all the seven seats in Delhi.
