AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal held a series of ‘Nukkad Sabhas’ (public meetings) on Saturday to support INDIA Alliance and AAP candidate Shri Mahabal Mishra from the West Delhi Lok Sabha seat. Addressing gatherings in Najafgarh, Vikaspuri, Janakpuri, Hari Nagar, and Madipur constituencies, Shri Arvind Kejriwal mentioned that PM Modi jailed him to prevent him from implementing his promise of providing ₹1,000 per month to women in Delhi. Highlighting his administration’s achievements in education, healthcare, and utility services, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal asserted that the BJP is targeting AAP leaders out of political jealousy. He urged voters to press the ‘jhadu’ (broom) button in the upcoming elections to counter these actions. Cabinet Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot, candidate Shri Mahabal Mishra, and other senior leaders, including local MLAs, were present during the rallies.
Addressing the people gathered at the road show in Najafgarh, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you have gathered in such large numbers despite scorching sun. You people have given me so much love. With me are our minister Kailash Gehlot ji, Mahabal Mishra ji who is your candidate from here. Just some time ago, you all know that the Prime Minister had put me in jail. I am coming directly from jail to be amongst you all. I used to miss you all a lot in jail, you all are like my family, I miss my family. I used to miss the people of Delhi a lot in jail. And the Almighty heard me. One day I was sitting in a cell in jail and turned on the TV and found out that the Supreme Court had granted me a bail of 21 days. This was no less than a miracle. Bajrangbali has blessed me a lot. Jai Bajrangbali! And I got a reprieve of 21 days. God wanted me to meet you and today I am amongst you.
Explaining why he was arrested and the ordeal he was put through in jail, the AAP National Convenor said, “I was thinking that I am a small man, our party is small and is only in two states, Delhi, and Punjab. Those people are very big, Prime Minister is very big, why are they after us, why did they put me in jail, what is my fault? My fault is that I arranged good education for your children, I built good schools for your children, this is my fault. These people cannot build them, so they arrested me so that the schools of Delhi are closed. My fault is that I opened mohalla clinics everywhere for the treatment of people, arranged free medicines for you, opened hospitals, arranged for free treatment. These people cannot do it, so close Kejriwal’s hospitals, arrest Kejriwal. And see the irony, I made all medicines free for 2.5 crore people of Delhi, but when I went to Tihar, these people stopped my medicines for 15 days. I have been diabetic for 20 years, my sugar level remains very high, I have been taking insulin injections for 10 years. I get injections in my stomach four times daily, 52 units of insulin every day. When I went to jail, they stopped giving me insulin for 15 days, my sugar level reached 300-350. If a person’s sugar level remains high for a long time, his liver and kidneys get damaged. I asked them many times to give me insulin. It’s only when you people raised your voice outside, the media raised their voice, they started my insulin,” he said.
The AAP supremo said why did they arrest me? It is my fault that earlier there used to be power cuts for 10 hours each in Delhi, but I arranged for 24 hours electricity for you, for Delhi. They arrested me because I made your electricity free. They don’t want free electricity for Delhiites, they want to stop your electricity. That is why they arrested me. “They arrested me because I have vowed to deposit Rs 1000 every month in the account of every woman in Delhi. I have come to deposit Rs 1000 in your account. They don’t want women of Delhi to get Rs 1000, that is why they got me arrested,” he said.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said now they are saying that Kejriwal will have to go to jail again on June 2. It is in your hands whether I will go to jail or not. The public gathered at the road show said, “Jail ka jawab vote se (answer jail with vote).”
The Delhi Chief Minister said those who want Kejriwal to go to jail, press the lotus button, those who want Kejriwal, their son, their brother, to stay among them, press the ‘broom’ (AAP symbol) button. “This time the vote will be on whether you want to send Kejriwal to jail or not. If you press the ‘broom’ button, Kejriwal will roam free, if you press the lotus button, Kejriwal will have to go to jail again,” he said.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said these people are after us, they are arresting all the leaders one by one. They arrested Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Sanjay Singh, me; today they arrested my PA. And now in a few days they will arrest Raghav Chadha, who came from London the day before yesterday, Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot. “I said Modi ji, I am coming to the BJP headquarters tomorrow, arrest everyone. I will reach at 12 noon with all my leaders, arrest us all together,” said the AAP chief.
He said the AAP is not going to be cowed down by the arrest of its leaders. “Modi ji thinks that by arresting our leaders, he will crush the Aam Aadmi Party. I want to tell him that the Aam Aadmi Party is not a party, it is an ideology, which has started settling in the hearts of people everywhere in the country. If you arrest one leader, 100 leaders will be born in the whole country, how far will you crush the Aam Aadmi Party; you crush the Aam Aadmi Party and see,” said the AAP supremo.
Cautioning the voters to beware of the BJP’s dirty politics, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said they can go to any extent during the ongoing election. “Now, Delhi election is on May 25 and Punjab election is on June 1. See in the coming days, how many dirty tricks they can play; they can go to any extent. They can do anything,” he said.
The AAP National Convenor said he is campaigning against the dictatorship of the BJP across the country in the limited available time. “I was in Mumbai yesterday, before that I was in Bhiwandi, before that I was in Lucknow. Day after tomorrow I am going to Jamshedpur, I am going all over the country. Take it from me that Modi Ji’s government is not being formed on June 4. There is anger against these people in the whole country, people are angry with these people. There is so much inflation everywhere, so much unemployment, they have created dictatorship, these people have made us sad. See, no one would have thought that they will get so few seats,” he said.
Urging the voters to come out in large number and vote for the INDIA alliance candidate, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “I want to request you all that all those who have come here should take an oath to go to their locality, their village and get all the supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party to vote. It is very hot, you will sweat, the queues will be long, there will be some discomfort, but it must be ensured that each voter of the Aam Aadmi Party casts their vote. All those who love Kejriwal will get all the votes cast in their locality this time. We have to make Mahabal Mishra ji win with record votes.”
I built 500 schools in Delhi; Shri Narendra Modi could have been great person if he had built 50000 schools across country: Arvind Kejriwal
While addressing the public meetings in Vikaspuri and Janakpuri, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that we have built good schools for your children, but those people cannot build good schools. That’s why they want Kejriwal to be jailed so that government schools are also closed. I built 500 schools, you are the Prime Minister, you build 50 thousand schools, then you have greatness. You will also shut down 500 schools of Kejriwal, this is wrong. I used to get to know when I was in jail that my mothers and sisters were very worried. Kejriwal went to jail, now what will happen to our Rs 1000? I want to tell all my mothers and sisters to have faith in Bajrang Bali. Kejriwal has also come out, now you will also get Rs 1000.
The BJP people are completely bewildered. I have been to many places, there is anger against them in the entire country. This time these people are going to lose very badly. These are going to spread a lot of dirt in the coming days. Every day they will bring out something or the other against Kejriwal. They will disgrace our ministers and our people and put them in jail. They can go to any extent. They can do any despicable work. People are saying that this time it is going to be a clean sweep, the BJP is going to lose badly. Shri Modi says that Sharad Pawar is a ‘Bhatakti Aatma’ and Uddhav Thackeray is a fake child. It does not suit the Prime Minister to use such words. The Prime Minister is like a father to the entire country. I feel that he also knows that this time he is going to lose on 25th May.
Modi government is not going to win, that’s why BJP has completely lost it: Arvind Kejriwal
While addressing the public meeting in Harinagar and Madipur, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that these people want to stop the work of Kejriwal by sending our leaders to jail. These people sometimes say that they have committed a scam of Rs 100 crores, sometimes they say that they have committed a scam of Rs 1000 crores. They have done so many raids but till date not a single penny has been recovered. Everyone’s bank lockers were searched. These people are lying. Even after this, they put Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh and me in jail.
They don’t want to work. It has been 10 years since they have been in power. Even after this, these people are not asking for votes for their work. The BJP government is not coming to power in the country. The entire BJP has gone completely mad due to this. These people can go to any extent to form their government. We all have to come together to save our country and the Constitution. They sent me to jail so that I could not give Rs 1000 to my mother and sisters, but I have come out. No mother’s son can stop this. Every day Modi talks about making arrests. We made him the Prime Minister, not the Thanedaar (Police Station Officer).
…when Arvind Kejriwal climbed on car roof
A huge crowd gathered at Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s public meeting in Vikaspuri. Only people were visible all around. There was great enthusiasm among the public to see and hear Shri Arvind Kejriwal and they were repeatedly raising slogans of ‘Kejriwal Zindabad’. Excited by this, Shri Arvind Kejriwal came to the roof of the car and addressed the people of Delhi while standing on the roof. He said that it feels great to be among you. Shri Modi had put me in jail. But God’s miracle happened and one day the Supreme Court released me for 20 days.
Kejriwal said, ‘Delhiites, I love you’
When Shri Arvind Kejriwal started his address while standing on the roof of the car, people from all sides started shouting ‘Kejriwal, I love you’. On this, Shri Arvind Kejriwal also said that ‘Delhiites, I love you’. I missed you all a lot inside the jail. I was very worried about all of you. I was worried about whether all of you are okay, whether everything is going well in Delhi or not. People waved posters of ‘I love you Kejriwal’.

Shri Arvind Kejriwal was riding in an open car along with minister Shri Kailash Gehlot and Lok Sabha candidate Shri Mahabal Mishra and was addressing the people. Crowds of people had gathered from far and wide to listen to him. Everyone promised their leader Shri Arvind Kejriwal that they will go door-to-door on May 25 to get large numbers of people to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.
