On 11th Dec 2021, Rajendra Pal Gautam, Delhi Social Welfare Minister, was honoured with the “Lord Buddha India Peace & Tourism Mitra Award” by the Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO).

Delhi ranks 2nd best in literacy rate among all the states. After Kerala, Delhi has the best literacy rate at 88.7 per cent.
This is according to a report on ‘Household Social Consumption: Education in India as part of 75th round of National Sample Survey – from July 2017 to June 2018’ that provides for state-wise detail of literacy rate among the persons aged seven years and above.
