The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday launched a signature campaign under the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign in Karol Bagh Market, in which Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal got tremendous support from the people. In this campaign run under the leadership of MCD Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi, party volunteers made people aware. During this, a large number of people signed the board which had ‘I Support Kejriwal’ written on it and wrote messages in support of their Chief Minister. Dr Shelly Oberoi said that today the public is ready to respond to the way the BJP is running dictatorship in the entire country. The public has understood how the opposition is being eliminated. We are getting full support from the public and people are going to end dictatorship from the country, she added.
A poster of ‘I Support Kejriwal’ was put up in Karol Bagh Market, on which a large number of people signed their names and expressed their support by writing messages to Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Many people wrote messages of ‘I support AK’ and I ‘love you Kejriwal’. Many people were making others aware by becoming human banners of ‘Jail ka jawab vote se’. During the campaign, Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi also signed the poster and appealed to the people to support Shri Arvind Kejriwal. There was huge enthusiasm among the supporters, and they raised slogans like ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ (Answer jail with vote) and ‘Ladenge, Jeetenge’ (we will fight and win).
Speaking on the occasion, MCD Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi said that today we are taking public support through signatures in Karol Bagh Market. This time, the Aam Aadmi Party is contesting elections on 4 Lok Sabha seats in Delhi under the INDIA alliance, while the Congress has fielded its candidates on the remaining 3 seats. Now the public is completely ready to respond to the dictatorship of the BJP which is going on in the entire country. The public has understood how the opposition is being eliminated. How nominations of candidates are being withdrawn through intimidation in other states. Our democracy and Constitution are being destroyed. We are getting full support from the public. This time the public is ready to answer the jail by voting. People have understood the power of their vote that they can save their country with their vote
