AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal said the entire country has made up its mind to oust the Modi government from power as everyone’s cup of misery is full owing to inflation and unemployment and the INDIA alliance government is going to be formed at the Centre on June 4.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal was speaking during the road show organised in support of INDIA alliance candidate for North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency Kanhaiya Kumar at Bhajanpura on Tuesday.
Flags and buntings of the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party could be seen on the entire route of the road show. Thousands of people had gathered to greet the AAP supremo Shri Arvind Kejriwal and the Lok Sabha candidate Kanhaiya Kumar and the two leaders waved them back.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said Modi Ji had sent me to jail. I am coming straight to you from jail. A miracle happened and today I am in your midst. The Prime Minister had sent me to jail. One day I was watching TV sitting in the jail cell, there is a TV in every cell, and I saw on TV that suddenly the Supreme Court granted me bail. “A miracle happened, I have a lot of blessings of Bajrangbali, I am a devotee of Bajrangbali and Bajrangbali did a miracle. Modi Ji tried his best to keep me in jail, but he could not succeed in front of Bajrangbali. Jai Bajrangbali, Jai Shri Ram,” he saids
The AAP supremo said I was thinking why did the Prime Minister send me to jail? I am a small man, my party is small. We have government in two states, Delhi and Punjab. The Prime Minister is so big, so powerful, he is the king of the whole country, then why did he send me to jail. He wants to stop the work in Delhi. What is my fault? It is my fault that I made the government schools better for your children. It is my fault that I arranged for good education for your children. Modiji wants to close this school. I told the Prime Minister that I am just a small Chief Minister, you are the king of the country. “I built 500 schools in Delhi, you build 50000 schools in the country, then it will be your greatness. You want to close Kejriwal’s schools too by arresting him, this is wrong. It is my fault that I opened mohalla clinics for you all over Delhi, I made medicines free, treatment free. Modiji wants to close it. I told the Prime Minister that I built 530 mohalla clinics in Delhi, you are the king of the country, you build 5 lakh mohalla clinics in the whole country, that will be your greatness. You want to close Kejriwal’s schools too, this is not right,” he said.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said look at the irony, I made all your medicines free in mohalla clinics, hospitals, I made medicines free for 2.5 crore people of Delhi. When I went to jail, these people stopped my insulin, I pleaded a lot, my sugar level shot up to 300-350. Doctors say that if sugar level remains high for a long time, liver and kidneys get damaged. I don’t know what they wanted to do with my body. My fault is that I made electricity free for you people, Modi ji wants to stop your free electricity.
The Delhi Chief Minister said for all my mothers and sisters, I want to tell them that I have come back and I will soon start your Rs 1000 per month. “Don’t worry, I used to know inside the jail that my mothers and sisters are very worried that Kejriwal is gone, we don’t know if we will Rs 1000 or not. As long as Kejriwal is alive, you will get your Rs 1000,” he said.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said the day before yesterday, there was Modi Ji’s interview on Aaj Tak. The Aaj Tak people asked Modi Ji what do you have to say about Kejriwal giving free bus travel to women in Delhi. Modi Ji said that free bus travel should not be given. “So what problem is Modi Ji having, when the public wants it, Kejriwal is giving it, who is Modi Ji to come in between. Modi Ji, your greatness is when I made bus travel free for women in Delhi, you make travel free for women in the whole country, you make rail travel free for women as well. But he wants to stop Kejriwal’s too, I will not let him stop, come what may,” said the AAP chief.
The AAP National Convenor said now they are saying that Kejriwal will have to go to jail again on June 2. It depends on you. “If you press the lotus button, I will have to go to jail and if you press the ‘hand’ (Congress party symbol) button, I will not have to go to jail,” he said.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said you see, they have created so much highhandedness, they have put Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal, Satyendra Jain, Sanjay Singh in jail, day before yesterday they put my PA in jail too. Now they are saying that they will put Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj in jail too. “Did we make him the Prime Minister or did we make him a police station in-charge. They are saying that there has been a scam of Rs 100 crore, they conducted over 500 raids, but not a single penny was found. Where did the Rs 100 crore go, did it vanish into thin air? They are putting everyone in jail by making false cases. You are the Prime Minister, the public has become so distressed, there is so much inflation, someone reduce the price of petrol, diesel, milk. Then it is your greatness,” he said.
The Delhi Chief Minister said but he (Prime Minister) wakes in the morning, and says, I will put this person in jail, I will put that person in jail.’ “Does this behove a Prime Minister, should there be such a Prime Minister?” said Shri Arvind Kejriwal.
The AAP chief said today I went to Jamshedpur, in the last one week I went to Punjab, Kurukshetra, Maharashtra, Lucknow, I am coming back from all over the country. People are so angry with Modi ji, with BJP that inflation has increased so much that people are not able to manage their household expenses. Income is not increasing and jobs are being lost. Our children are sitting at home. Modi ji is the Prime Minister. If you worry about employment and inflation, then it will matter. “The whole country has made up its mind that BJP government is not coming on June 4. Modi ji’s government is not coming. ‘Achhe din aane wale hain, Modi ji jaane wale hain’ (Good days are coming, Modi ji is going to leave). ‘25 May BJP gai’ (BJP is gone on May 25). On June 4, the INDIA alliance government will be formed. From here, you have to press the ‘hand’ button and make Kanhaiya Kumar win,” he urged the voters.
