Ahead of the MCD elections next month, Aam Aadmi Party held a Jansamvad on the issue of BJP’s garbage mismanagement on Wednesday in Kondli. It was the second day of the campaign and Kondli MLA Shri Kuldeep Kumar took the opinion of the residents on the issue of garbage mismanagement in the area. There was a mass participation by the residents of the area and the MLA, Shri Kuldeep Kumar, discussed the main responsibility of the BJP-ruled MCD i.e. cleanliness of Delhi and how the corporation had failed to perform its duties. The residents were unanimous in their opinion that the BJP had ruined Delhi by littering all over the city and that now it was time to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party in the MCD elections as well, as it was the only party that had a solution to the issue of garbage mismanagement.
MLA from Kondli, Shri Kuldeep Kumar, also said that due to Kondli’s proximity to the Ghazipur landfill, the lives of the residents of the area has been made difficult due to the stench that generates from the garbage there. He said that there are many eagles in the area that fly at a low altitude and make the lives of citizens difficult. He further added, “the BJP-ruled MCD had done no work in the last 15 years in Delhi, besides giving them these three ‘Garbage Mountains’. They had just one responsibility, which was to clean Delhi, but they miserably failed to do their work.”
The residents of Kondli told Shri Kuldeep Kumar that there is garbage everywhere in the area – including outside their homes and in the surrounding drains and streets. It is because of this that the people also have to deal with the problem of mosquitoes. People praised the Kejriwal Government and said that they have fixed everything including electricity, water, schools and hospitals. The AAP Government has also made bus travel free for women and is providing free pilgrimage to the elderly under a scheme. Today, the people also want CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Government in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Everyone says that if CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Government is there in MCD also, then only the problem of Delhi’s garbage will be solved.

आम आदमी पार्टी ने बुधवार को एमसीडी चुनाव को लेकर कोंडली में ‘कूड़े पर जनसंवाद’ किया। आज अभियान के दूसरे दिन विधायक कुलदीप कुमार ने अपनी विधानसभा कोंडली में लोगों की कूड़े की समस्याओं पर राय ली। जनसंवाद में लोगों का जनसैलाब देखने को मिला। कुलदीप कुमार ने जनसभा में भाग लेने वालों से भाजपा शासित एमसीडी की मुख्य जिम्मेदारी यानी कि दिल्ली की साफ सफाई से संबंधित चर्चा की। सभी का यही कहना था कि भाजपा ने पूरी दिल्ली को कूड़ा-कूड़ा कर दिल्ली को बर्बाद कर दिया है। अब एमसीडी में भाजपा नहीं बल्कि केजरीवाल सरकार चाहिए क्योंकि वही हमारी कूड़े की समस्याओं का समाधान निकाल सकते हैं।
आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं कोंडली से विधायक कुलदीप कुमार ने कहा कि कोंडली के पास ही गाजीपुर का कूड़े का पहाड़ है जिसकी बदबू से लोगों का जीना दूभर है। चील-कौए उड़ते रहते हैं। पिछले 15 सालों में भाजपा ने दिल्ली में कोई काम नहीं किया है। बीजेपी ने बस दिल्ली को तीन बड़े-बड़े कूड़े के पहाड़ देने का काम किया है। दिल्ली की साफ सफाई की जिम्मेदारी भाजपा शासित एमसीडी की थी लेकिन बीजेपी ने उसका उल्टा किया और आज दिल्लीवालों का जीवन नर्क बना दिया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि कोंडली के लोगों ने बताया कि जगह-जगह कूड़े के पहाड़ लगे हुए हैं। लोगों ने कहा कि उनके घरों के सामने, आसपास की नालियों, गलियों आदि हर जगह कूड़ा ही कूड़ा दिखाई देता है। गंदगी के कारण लोगों को मच्छरों की समस्या से भी जूझना पड़ रहा है। लोगों ने केजरीवाल सरकार की तारीफ करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने बिजली, पानी, स्कूल, अस्पताल सबकुछ ठीक कर दिया है। महिलाओं के लिए बस यात्रा मुफ्त कर दी। बुजुर्गों को मुफ्त तीर्थ यात्रा करवा रहे हैं, इससे अच्छा काम क्या हो सकता है। आज लोग अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार को दिल्ली नगर निगम में चाहते हैं। सभी का कहना है कि यदि एमसीडी में भी अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार होगी तभी दिल्ली की कूड़े की समस्या खत्म हो पाएगी।
