Senior AAP leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi on Monday held a road show in support of AAP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Dibrugarh, Assam, Shri Manoj Dhanowar. Tremendous public support was seen in this road show of the Aam Aadmi Party organized in Duliajan. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, AAP leader Atishi said that the BJP is afraid of Shri Arvind Kejriwal because he fulfills his promises. She said that Kejriwal’s promise means Kejriwal’s firm guarantee.
Atishi said that the people of Dibrugarh have the guarantee of Shri Arvind Kejriwal. If the people of Dibrugarh choose the politics of honesty, they will get good schools, excellent hospitals. Labourers working in tea plantations will get a daily wage of Rs 450, tea farmers will get MSP, houses will be leased to the people working in tea plantations. Every person will get their due.
Atishi stated that the BJP people lie, make big promises in elections and after forming the government, they forget their promises. But AAP will fulfill all the promises made to the people of Dibrugarh because Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s promises are his guarantee.
Atishi further stated, “If Shri Arvind Kejriwal joins the BJP like Himanta Biswa Sarma, he will be released in a day. Shri Arvind Kejriwal will never bow down, he will keep fighting for the rights of the common man across the country, whether he is inside or outside the jail.”
Appealing to the people of Dibrugarh, she said to ensure that every person of Dibrugarh gets his/her rights, it is imperative that they send AAP candidate Manoj Dhanowar to the Parliament this time by voting for him.
Atishi said that the people of Assam have always given a lot of love and blessings to the Aam Aadmi Party and Shri Arvind Kejriwal. “No one could have imagined that the Aam Aadmi Party would get a seat in the municipal elections of Guwahati or Tinsukia. People love Shri Arvind Kejriwal because he is a leader who fulfills the promises he makes. He built good schools, built good hospitals. Gave free bus travel to women in Delhi and Punjab and gave jobs to the youth. For this reason, the BJP is afraid of Shri Arvind Kejriwal.”
Atishi said that BJP people are afraid of Arvind Kejriwal because BJP never fulfills its promises and Shri Arvind Kejriwal fulfills all his promises.
Atishi further said that in the last few years, about 8000 government schools have been closed in Assam, government colleges have been closed; medicines are not available in hospitals, those working in tea plantations do not get proper remuneration. Every government promises that it will give house on lease to the people working in the plantations, but the people have not yet got the lease. The BJP people lie and make big promises in elections. After forming the government, they forget the promises they made.
Atishi reiterated Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s promises made in Assam, “We will provide good schools, good hospitals to the people of Dibrugarh, workers working in tea plantations will get a daily wage of Rs 450, tea farmers will get minimum support price (MSP). Those working at tea plantations will get house on lease. This is the promise of Aam Aadmi Party, Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s guarantee. He fulfills all the promises he makes.
Atishi further stated that the BJP Is afraid of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, they have put him behind bars because he builds good schools, builds excellent hospitals, makes children coming from poor families capable of taking admission in IIT. He provides free treatment to every poor person, no matter how expensive it is.
“If Shri Arvind Kejriwal joins the BJP today, like Himanta Biswa Sarma, he will be released in a day. But he will never bow down to their pressure. He will continue to fight for the rights of the common man across the country, whether he is inside or outside jail,” Atishi added.
Appealing to all the residents of Dibrugarh Lok Sabha, Atishi said that this time, Aam Aadmi Party candidate Manoj Dhanowar should be elected in the Lok Sabha elections. With this, good schools will be built in Dibrugarh, good hospitals will be built, tea farmers will get their rights, plantation workers will get their rights. Only Shri Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party can make this happen, she concluded.
