NEW DELHI:
The Delhi Government under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal will construct an elevated corridor in Najafgarh to make the area traffic-jam free and provide a smooth commuting experience to the people of Delhi. In view of the same, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia and Transport Minister Shri Kailash Gahlot who is also the MLA of Najafgargh held a high-level meeting with the senior officials of PWD on Wednesday. During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister gave approval to the first phase of the aforementioned project. The upcoming Najafgarh Elevated Corridor spread over 4.8 kilometres will benefit lakhs of people every day.
After the construction of the elevated corridor, vehicles plying on Najafgarh-Phirni Road, Kapashera Road, Dhansa Road, Bahadurgarh Road and Nangloi Road will be able to use this elevated road and commuters will get relief from long traffic jams.
While providing the details about the Najafgarh Elevated Corridor, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “The Delhi Government under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is working round the clock to decongest the roads of the capital from traffic jams. The Najafgarh-Phirni Road which is one of the main routes followed by people commuting between Delhi and Haryana gets heavily jammed during peak hours. But after this new elevated corridor is completed commuters will not have to enter Najafgarh to cross the city. They can use the elevated corridor and save their travel time.”
Shri Manish Sisodia added that the project will benefit lakhs of commuters everyday and decongest the roads in Najafgarh. Those travelling between Najafgarh to Kapashera Road, Dhansa Road, Bahadurgarh Road and Nangloi Road will be able to take the direct route instead of entering the Najafgarh area.
Apart from this people from more than 200 colonies in surrounding areas including Prem Nagar, New Gopal Nagar, Gopal Nagar Extension, Dharampura, New Roshanpura and Lokesh Park will get relief from traffic jams with this elevated corridor.
Adding more details about the project Delhi’s Transport Minister and MLA of Najafgarh, Shri Kailash Gahlot said, “The project will be a boon for everyone commuting through Najafgarh to Bahadurgarh or Jhajjar or other parts of adjoining states. This 4.8 km of the radial elevated corridor will be another landmark road stretch that will help in decongesting Najafgarh city. In addition, it will help reduce the commuting time of travellers between Delhi and Haryana by half. Under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi government is committed to providing good road infrastructure across the city for its citizens and making their life more convenient.”
Features of Najafgarh Elevated Corridor
-> Total length of the elevated road is 4.8 kilometers
-> There will be 7 up-down ramps at the elevated road with a one-way carriageway.
-> The total length of the ramps will be 1.68 km.
-> Commuters travelling between Najafgarh to Kapashera Road, Dhansa Road, Bahadurgarh Road and Nangloi Road will be able to take the direct route instead of entering the Najafgarh area.
-> After the construction of the elevated road, people from more than 200 colonies including Prem Nagar, New Gopal Nagar, Gopal Nagar Extension, and Lokesh Park will get relief from traffic jams.

केजरीवाल सरकार नजफगढ़ को जाममुक्त करने के लिए बहुत जल्द वहां एक एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर का निर्माण करवाने जा रही है| बुधवार को उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने नजफगढ़ से विधायक व दिल्ली सरकार में मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत व पीडब्ल्यूडी अधिकारीयों के साथ एक उच्चस्तरीय बैठक में इसके पहले फेज को मंजूरी दी| 4.8 किमी लम्बाई के इस एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर के बनने के बाद नजफगढ़ रोड पर लगने वाले ट्रैफिक में भारी कमी आएगी और लोगों को लम्बे ट्रैफिक जाम से नहीं जूझना पड़ेगा| एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर के निर्माण के बाद फिरनी रोड,कापसहेड़ा रोड,ढासा रोड, बहादुरगढ़ रोड व नांगलोई रोड पर चलने वाले वाहन इस एलिवेटेड रोड का इस्तेमाल कर सकेंगे उन्हें और उन्हें लम्बे ट्रैफिक जाम से निजात मिलेगा|
इस मौके पर उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि, मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्व में दिल्ली सरकार शहर की सड़कों को ट्रैफिक जाम से मुक्त करने के लिए चौबीसों घंटे काम कर रही है। इस दिशा में नजफगढ़-फ़िरनी रोड जो दिल्ली और हरियाणा के बीच आने-जाने वाले लोगों के मुख्य मार्गों में से एक है और यहाँ पीक आवर्स के दौरान भारी जाम हो जाता है इसे जाममुक्त बनाने के लिए यहाँ एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर का निर्माण किया जायेगा| इस नए एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर के पूरा हो जाने के बाद वाहनों को दिल्ली से हरियाणा- हरियाणा से दिल्ली आने जाने के लिए नजफगढ़ में प्रवेश नहीं करना पड़ेगा। वे एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर का उपयोग कर और अपना समय बचा पाएंगे|
पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि वर्तमान में में हरियाणा से दिल्ली आने वाले वाहन व दिल्ली से हरियाणा जाने वाले वाहनों को नजफगढ़ के अंदर से आना होता है जिससे यहाँ मौजूदा सड़क पर वाहनों का काफी ज्यादा लोड होता है और लोगों को लम्बे ट्रैफिक का सामना करना पड़ता है| उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों को ट्रैफिक से निजात दिलाने के लिए दिल्ली सरकार यहाँ एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर का निर्माण करवाने जा रही है| इससे यहाँ यातायात सुगम होगा और यहाँ से रोजाना गुजरने वाले लाखों वाहनों को ट्रैफिक जाम से मुक्ति मिलेगी|
श्री सिसोदिया ने बताया कि 4.8 किमी लम्बाई के इस एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर के बनने के बाद नजफगढ़ रोड पर लगने वाले ट्रैफिक में भारी कमी आएगी और लोगों को लम्बे ट्रैफिक जाम से नहीं जूझना पड़ेगा| एलिवेटेड कोरिडोर के निर्माण के बाद फिरनी रोड,कापसहेड़ा रोड,ढासा रोड, बहादुरगढ़ रोड व नांगलोई रोड पर चलने वाले वाहन इस एलिवेटेड रोड का इस्तेमाल कर सकेंगे, और उन्हें लम्बे ट्रैफिक जाम से निजात मिलेगा साथ ही नजफगढ़ रोड से वाहनों का लोड कम होगा|
एलिवेटेड रोड की विशेषताएं
-एलिवेटेड रोड की कुल लम्बाई 4.8 किमी होगी
-वन-वे कैरिजवे के साथ एलिवेटेड रोड पर जाने के लिए कुल 7 अप-डाउन रैंप होंगे
-रैंपस की कुल लम्बाई 1.68 किमी होगी
-फिरनी रोड,कापसहेड़ा रोड,ढासा रोड, बहादुरगढ़ रोड व नांगलोई रोड से नजफ़गढ़ की ओर आने वाले वाहन और दिल्ली तथा हरियाणा के बीच आवाजाही करने वाले वाहन बिना नजफगढ़ में जाए आवाजाही कर सकेंगे और उन्हें ट्रैफिक से निजात मिलेगा|
-एलिवेटेड रोड के बनने के बाद नजफगढ़, प्रेम नगर, न्यू गोपाल नगर, गोपाल नगर एक्सटेंशन, लोकेश पार्क सहित 200 से अधिक अन्य कॉलोनियों के लोगों को ट्रैफिक से राहत मिलेगी|
परियोजना के बारे में अधिक जानकारी देते हुए दिल्ली के परिवहन मंत्री और नजफगढ़ के विधायक श्री कैलाश गहलोत ने कहा, “यह परियोजना नजफगढ़ से बहादुरगढ़ या झज्जर या आसपास के राज्यों के अन्य हिस्सों में आने-जाने वाले सभी लोगों के लिए वरदान साबित होगी। रेडियल एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर का यह 4.8 किमी एक और मील का पत्थर होगा जो नजफगढ़ शहर को कम करने में मदद करेगा। इसके अलावा, यह दिल्ली और हरियाणा के बीच यात्रियों के आने-जाने के समय को आधा करने में मदद करेगा। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व में, दिल्ली सरकार अपने नागरिकों के लिए शहर भर में अच्छी सड़क बुनियादी ढांचा प्रदान करने और उनके जीवन को और अधिक सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
