Minister of SC/ST Raaj Kumar Anand today marked a significant step in community development with the inauguration of the Dr B R Ambedkar Chaupal at village Akbarpur Majra in Narela assembly constituency. This initiative, funded by the SC/ST fund, stands as a testament to the commitment of the Kejriwal government towards uplifting marginalized communities in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of area MLA Sharad Chauhan, local residents, including prominent citizens from the area. The event symbolized unity and progress as the chaupal was dedicated to the local community in the Narela constituency.
Built over an area of nearly 195 square metre, the Dr. B R Ambedkar Chaupal boasts two floors comprising a hall and lobby area. This infrastructure, aimed at enhancing community engagement and welfare, a reflection of the government’s dedication to inclusive growth.
Attendees expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Kejriwal government for prioritising development projects in the area. They acknowledged the transformative impact of initiatives like the Dr. B R Ambedkar Chaupal, recognizing it as a step towards empowering marginalized communities and fostering social cohesion.
