The Aam Aadmi Party has appealed to the people to save the country’s Constitution and democracy from the tyranny of the BJP. Senior AAP leader and MP Shri Sanjay Singh said that if BJP and PM Narendra Modi win this election, then there will be no elections again in this country.
Referring to the incident in Surat, Gujarat, he said that the BJP has begun its conspiracy from Surat to abolish the Constitution of the country. In Surat, the nomination papers of candidates of all parties, including the Congress were rejected and the BJP candidate was given the winning certificate even before the elections. It has never happened before in history that a ruling party has won without elections. Surat is just a glimpse; it will be replicated in the entire country.
In a scathing attack, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh strongly condemned how the BJP wants to maintain its rule in India through force and fear. In the last 10 years, the BJP formed its government in many states by force, sometimes by breaking the government and sometimes by force. At some places the MLAs were bought or broken, and at some places the government was brought down by deceit. This is the policy of the BJP; they adopt such tricks in regions where they cannot win through elections. If the BJP remains in power, then the day is not far when the Constitution of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar will be removed and the Constitution of RSS will be implemented in India. The day is not far when there will be no reservation system, no talk of farmers’ rights, no talk of women’s safety, and no talk of employment for the youth. The people of the country should see these atrocities and respond to the BJP’s dictatorship with their votes. The citizens must protect the democracy and Constitution of India.
Shri Sanjay Singh stated that in the last 10 years various attempts have been made to destroy India’s democracy by toppling various governments under ‘Operation Lotus’. The living example of this is in front of you. What started from Surat is just an indication that by running ‘Operation Lotus’ in the last 10 years, the BJP has disintegrated various state governments, poached MLAs, and toppled governments. If things keep going this way, there will be no elections in this country after 2024. Surat is just the beginning, “Surat toh Jhanki hai, Poora Desh Baaki hai” (Surat is just a glimpse, it will be replicated in the entire country). The BJP is planning to finish the concept of elections in the country, he said.
“This is my appeal to the 140-crore people of the country, this is your last election, after this you will not be given the right to vote. You have seen this yourself; you might have never heard before that the ruling party of the country wins the Lok Sabha elections without voting; it wins without any elections. In Surat, the nomination forms of all the candidates were rejected. Not only the Congress, but the nomination forms of all the parties and the independent candidates were also rejected. And even before the elections, the winning certificate was handed over to the BJP candidate after he was elected unopposed.”
“This is what is going to happen in the country after 2024, the Constitution will be just for show. There will be a Constitution of RSS, Nagpur, in which there will be no reservation system, in which there will be no talk of farmers’ rights, in which there will be no talk of women’s safety, in which there will be no talk of employment for the youth. There will be an RSS Constitution, the constitution written by Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar will be abolished, reservation will be abolished, elections will be abolished,” he stated.
Reminding the public of the history of the BJP in the last 10 years, he said, “In Uttarakhand, they did not conduct elections but formed their own government by overturning the Congress government. In Arunachal Pradesh, they did not conduct elections and formed the government by force. In Maharashtra, they toppled the government by showing them the fear of their probe agencies like ED, CBI and IT department and formed the government. Even in Goa, despite having only 13 seats, the BJP formed the government solely with poaching. In Madhya Pradesh, they formed the government by poaching the MLAs. The same things happened in Karnataka.”
He further stated how one decision of the Chief Justice of India and the Supreme Court awakened the entire country that India’s democracy is being destroyed, the right to vote is about to be abolished, democratic and constitutional institutions are being destroyed. The prime example of this was the Chandigarh Mayoral elections, where democracy was murdered by the BJP. Shri Sanjay Singh reminded people of the BJP’s fraud by showing the video of rigging in Chandigarh and how BJP dishonestly manipulated the votes. He showed how the BJP was caught red-handed in manipulating 8 votes on camera.
The Rajya Sabha MP stated how it proves that the BJP wants to change the Constitution of India. The MPs, Ministers, and candidates of the BJP have said this time and again that ‘Give us 400 seats, we will change the Constitution.’ The BJP MPs Shri Lallu Singh and Shri Anant Kumar Hegde, BJP Candidates for Lok Sabha election Shri Arun Govil and Ms. Jyoti Mirdha, each one of them have said that ‘Give us 400 seats, we will change the Constitution.’ They will change the Constitution, end reservation, and elections in India. This is their plan, and it has been proven with examples. This happened in Chandigarh and Surat, and many other states where the governments were disintegrated and toppled by conspiracies and force. They are using probe agencies like ED, CBI, and IT department, we have even raised a slogan, “BJP ke Teen hain Bhai, ED, IT aur CBI (BJP has three brothers: ED, IT and CBI),” he stated.
Playing a video of a candidate from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Shri Sanjay Singh said this is what is happening with the candidate in Amit Shah’s constituency. The candidates standing against him in the Lok Sabha elections are being threatened, their lives are at risk. The candidates are forced to withdraw their candidature by force. In the video, the Akhil Bhartiya Parivar Party candidate for Lok Sabha election can be seen crying and appealing to the public to ‘save the country, the country is in danger’. On this, Shri Sanjay Singh stated how the BJP has caused chaos in the entire country, they want to rule the country by force, they want to end the elections, and win without elections.
