The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has received widespread appreciation from all over the country for its no-nonsense approach and commitment to peace and security, following the arrest of notorious separatist Amritpal Singh. Senior AAP Leader and MLA Shri Dilip Pandey praised Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann for his continuous efforts to maintain peace and order during the operation. According to the AAP leader, the Punjab Police did an excellent job while ignoring all criticisms and diligently pursuing the arrest of Amritpal Singh. His successful capture was made possible through the tireless efforts of the police force and the full support of the AAP government, he said.
Even after the arrest of Amritpal, there is peace in Punjab, and full credit for this goes to the people there, Shri Dilip Pandey said. He added that the AAP government’s no-nonsense stand against crime and their commitment to maintaining peace and security has been recognized and appreciated by people all over the country. The AAP government has set an example for other states in the country by its swift action against criminals and dedication towards the welfare of the people. The government’s efforts have been lauded, and they continue to receive support from citizens and leaders from all walks of life.
During a press conference held on Sunday, Shri Dilip Pandey said, “Punjab has once again proven its unwavering commitment to peace and security. The successful completion of the recent operation would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the brave police force, the constant support of Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann’s state government, and the cooperation and best wishes of the 3.5 crore people who call this great state home.”
Shri Dilip Pandey expressed his gratitude and respect towards the Punjab government and police for successfully arresting Amritpal Singh from Moga, Punjab, early Sunday morning. Amritpal Singh, booked under the National Security Act (NSA), was declared a fugitive in March and had been on the run since March 18th, when the Punjab Police launched a massive manhunt for him.
He praised Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann for his “unwavering concern and determination to maintain peace and security in the state, despite attempts by a very small group nearly a month ago to distort Punjab’s social fabric.” He said, “This news fills me with immense respect and pride for the government of Punjab and state police and their commitment to maintaining law and order in the state. Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Mann’s serious commitment to creating a peaceful environment in Punjab has been widely appreciated by the people of Punjab and the nation as a whole.”
The senior AAP leader said, “The arrest of Amritpal Singh is a significant achievement of CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann and stands testimony to his commitment to maintaining harmony and prosperity in the state. The tireless efforts of the AAP-led Punjab Government have paved the way for a brighter future, one where India rises to become the number one nation of the world and Punjab leads the way as the number one state in our great country.
Shri Dilip Pandey highlighted the Aam Aadmi Party government’s commitment to creating a peaceful and harmonious environment in the country, which has earned them national recognition. He emphasised that Amritpal Singh’s arrest has confirmed that AAP governments and their leaders, including Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, will never compromise on social peace and security.
He also noted that the people of Punjab have unhesitatingly supported CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann’s efforts to maintain peace and security in the state. He said that the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in the state despite the recent arrest stands as testimony to the people’s support for the Chief Minister.
He said, “The credit for the peaceful atmosphere in Punjab today directly goes to the people of Punjab. The people of Punjab have proved that they love peace and security through their conduct and how they have unhesitatingly supported the government of Punjab and CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann in the recent operation.”
He also praised the tireless efforts of the Punjab Police, who worked hard to arrest Amritpal Singh without compromising the peace and brotherhood that exist in the state. He said, “We express our gratitude to the top police officers and jawans, who have strategically executed this operation, without getting tired, stopping, and paying attention to unfair criticism. We owe our gratitude to the brave police officers and intelligence personnel who, though anonymous, have shown immense love for Punjab and its people. Their dedication to CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann’s vision has been instrumental in the success of this critical operation,” Shri Dilip Pandey said.
He added, “Despite facing some criticism aimed at undermining and belittling their work, these officers and jawans worked relentlessly for nearly 35 days to achieve this vital outcome. They deserve all our appreciation for their dedication, hard work, and service, which has led to the successful arrest of Amritpal Singh today, achieved by laying siege to the entire village without compromising on the peace and harmony in the state.”
Shri Dilip Pandey praised the Punjab CM and Punjab Police for exercising caution to ensure the operation was completed successfully without compromising the peace and tranquillity of the people of Punjab. He emphasised that the operation to arrest Amritpal Singh required a careful approach. He commended the Chief Minister, Sardar Bhagwant Mann, for maintaining constant communication with the police to ensure that they avoid any wrong action or unexpected behaviour that could have led to unrest in the state. “The Punjab Police also deserve praise for employing patience and caution, along with their use of tactics, technology, and intelligence, in the successful completion of the operation,” he added.
Shri Dilip Pandey explained, “It is through the careful and calculated actions of the Punjab CM and the Punjab Police that the arrest of Amritpal Singh was made possible without any disturbance to the peace and fraternity in the state. They say haste makes waste. But with a strategic and patient operation, the Punjab CM and the Punjab Police were able to ensure the safety, peace, and well-being of the people of Punjab.”
