Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ door-to-door campaign throughout Delhi proved to be entirely successful. From 1st to 30th December, it became clear from this campaign that the people of Delhi stand with CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. The public unequivocally opined that under any circumstances, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal should not resign, and if he is falsely implicated, he should run the government from jail. The alleged liquor scam is entirely politically motivated. The BJP is disheartened by the defeat in Delhi-Punjab, hence they want to finish off the AAP. Under this campaign, the AAP reached nearly 23,82,122 households. Now, the AAP will run the ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ public dialogue campaign in every ward of Delhi under the next phase of this campaign.
Regarding this, on Monday, Senior AAP leaders held a joint press conference at the party headquarters. AAP Delhi Vice Presidents and MLAs Shri Rituraj Jha, Kuldeep Kumar, MLA Rajesh Gupta, and AAP Delhi Vice President Shri Jitendra Singh Tomar were present. ‘AAP’ MLA Rituraj Jha said that our ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign ran from 1st December to 30th December 2023. Under this campaign, we were successful in reaching 23,82,122 households. We took people’s opinions after reaching nearly 24 lakh households. If a family of four is considered in one household, we interacted with approximately 96 lakh people. We had detailed discussions with them. Our ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ door-to-door campaign has achieved significant success on a large scale. The positive results have surpassed our expectations. We received abundant love and support from the people for our campaign. The Modi government has tried to scare us with the ED and CBI, but we have the love of the people. We are not afraid.
During this, AAP Delhi Vice President and MLA Kuldeep Kumar stated, “After the success of the ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign, we are now about to start the ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ public dialogue campaign throughout Delhi. Our public dialogue campaign will commence on 4th January 2024. In Delhi, there are approximately 44 lakh households, and we have been successful in reaching up to 24 lakh households. To convey the opinions of Delhiites in our door-to-door campaign, we are now going to engage in public dialogue in every ward. The Modi government has already imprisoned Shri Manish Sisodia and Shri Sanjay Singh in a fake liquor scam. All our MLAs and councilors appealed to CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal that under no circumstances should he resign if the Modi government falsely arrests him. In response to our plea, the Chief Minister had said that he would decide based on the opinion of Delhi’s public. Under the leadership of our National General Secretary Organisation Dr Sandeep Pathak and AAP Delhi President Shri Gopal Rai, we ran this campaign successfully.”
Present in the press conference, AAP Delhi Vice President Jitendra Singh Tomar expressed, “Under the door-to-door campaign, our ministers, MLAs, councilors, party officials, and party workers directly interacted with Delhi’s public. We explained to people how the Modi government wants to arrest our CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal in a fake scam. We extensively briefed Delhi’s public about this fake liquor scam. We asked Delhi’s public whether if the Modi government plots to arrest Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal, should he resign from his position or run the government from jail. We interacted with nearly 1 crore people, and 98% of them believe that no matter what the situation, Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal should not resign from his position. If the Modi government arrests him, he should run the government from jail.”
Meanwhile, AAP Delhi Vice President and MLA Rajesh Gupta shared that the people of Delhi have stood shoulder to shoulder with their son, Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Delhi’s residents say that they are with their Chief Minister in every circumstance. The way BJP is attempting to put Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal in jail through conspiracy has angered the people of Delhi. Today, the AAP governs in two major states. The AAP also has its government in the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD). The AAP has MLAs in Goa and Gujarat. For this reason, the BJP is terribly afraid. Today, the BJP fears Shri Arvind Kejriwal the most, which is why they are scheming politically to eliminate Shri Arvind Kejriwal and want to confine him behind bars.
