New Delhi, May 3Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh and Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi held a ‘Sankalp Sabha’ (resolution meeting) under the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign in Kalkaji Assembly of South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. In the meeting held in support of Sahiram Pahalwan, the candidate of INDIA alliance from South Delhi, locals participated in large numbers and took an oath to ‘answer the jail by voting’.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Singh said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given many facilities to the people of Delhi. He has reduced the electricity, water, women’s bus travel, school and hospital bills to zero in Delhi. Therefore, there is an appeal to the people of Delhi that this time they should give all the seven seats of Delhi to the INDIA alliance and reduce the BJP seats to zero.
The Rajya Sabha MP said that you should elect such a candidate who can stand with you at any time. Sahiram Pahalwan will always be there for you and will fight for you in Parliament.
Shri Sanjay Singh said that this is the last election. If the BJP people win by mistake, they will take away your voting power, they will take away Baba Saheb’s constitution and reservation.
He said the BJP is losing in the entire country. The INDIA alliance will get more than 300 seats and government will be formed.
Shri Sanjay Singh said Modi’s guarantee is to lie and Kejriwal’s guarantee is to work. These people cannot build schools and hospitals for your children, they can only build crematoriums, but Arvind Kejriwal can give you schools, hospitals and progress. Therefore, vote for the Aam Aadmi Party candidates, he added.
Senior AAP leader Atishi said that in the 2014 elections, people across the country voted for BJP with great expectations. People felt that perhaps their lives would improve, their children would get good education, inflation would reduce. But BJP did nothing. In 2019, people again voted for BJP with the hope that perhaps Modi ji would fulfill his promises, but 10 years have passed since the BJP government, Narendra Modi ji’s government, and everything about them proved to be just a gimmick. There was no change in the lives of common people.
Atishi said that BJP had given the slogan ‘Enough of inflation, this time Modi government’, but in the last 10 years, instead of decreasing, inflation has increased further. Today, it has become difficult for common people to manage their household expenses with what they earn.
Atishi said that within 4 days of the election being announced, Kejriwal was arrested in a false case. She said the BJP has booked the Chief Minister of Delhi, brother and son of Delhi in a false case, they will answer it with votes. The answer to jail will be given by voting.
