AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi said after their repeated failures to checkmate Shri Arvind Kejriwal and party, the Prime Minister and the BJP are now conspiring to bump off the Delhi Chief Minister as is evident from the death threats issued to him and the inaction by the Delhi Police.
Addressing media persons here today, senior AAP leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi said the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are afraid of AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. They know that they cannot face Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party in the election, and in Delhi and Punjab. They cannot face the work done by Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party. That is why, ever since the election was announced, the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have conspired to attack Arvind Kejriwal incessantly. The Lok Sabha elections were announced on March 16, and on March 21, Arvind Kejriwal was implicated in a false case. A case in which till date not even a single penny of the proceeds of crime has been received, but after the announcement of the election, Arvind Kejriwal was sent to jail by filing a false case against him.
She said after sending Shri Arvind Kejriwal to jail, his medicines were stopped in the jail, his insulin was stopped. Arvind Kejriwal has been a diabetic patient for 30 years and has been taking 52 units of insulin (every day). We had to go to court to get Arvind Kejriwal his insulin and after the court order, he got his medicine. But it was God’s blessing that this conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party failed, and Arvind Kejriwal got bail from the Supreme Court. It was the love of the people of Delhi, it was the blessing of God.
The senior AAP leader said but ever since Shri Arvind Kejriwal got bail, the Bharatiya Janata Party is unable to stomach that he has come out of jail even for 20 days. They are once again hatching conspiracies against Arvind Kejriwal repeatedly. Just in the last few days, we have seen how a conspiracy was hatched against Arvind Kejriwal by making Swati Maliwal a pawn. How they intended that Arvind Kejriwal should be made accused. We believe that pressure was put on Swati Maliwal regarding her ACB (Anti Corruption Bureau) case, and she was made the face of this conspiracy. But that conspiracy also failed because the videos that came out of the CM residence were seen by the whole country that the complaint Swati Maliwal was making was a lie, added the Delhi Cabinet Minister.
Atishi said when the conspiracy of Swati Maliwal’s allegation did not work, now the Bharatiya Janata Party is making its last-ditch attempt. “They are conspiring to attack Arvind Kejriwal, they are conspiring to kill Arvind Kejriwal,” she said.
Giving details of the conspiracy, she said, “Yesterday in Delhi Metro, Delhi Metro has very prominent metro stations, one of which is Rajiv Chowk, the second metro station is Patel Nagar and apart from that, threats have been written against Arvind Kejriwal inside many metro trains, threats to kill him have been written and the talk of attacking him has been written as a threat at many places at prominent metro stations across Delhi.”
“Now you tell me how it is possible that the metro station whose every inch is covered with CCTV cameras, police and paramilitary forces are present day and night at these metro stations, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Patel Nagar, CCTV is monitored 24 hours a day but still threats are written, and no one is even looking for the person who writes the threats. The person who writes the threats also posts all these threats on his social media accounts. I want to know where is Delhi Police, where is their cyber cell, Delhi Metro’s security forces. How is it that the Chief Minister of Delhi is being openly threatened with death, not at one place, not at two places, but at many places in Delhi Metro, they are being openly posted on social media. But Delhi Police is not budging an inch,” she reasoned.
Questioning the silence maintained by the Delhi Police in such a sensitive matter, the senior AAP leader said this is the same Delhi Police which was working 24 hours on the fake allegations of Swati Maliwal ji, which went to her house with its entire battalion, to note down her allegations, to file an FIR. Who like James Bond reaches CM residence once in every 24 hours, says now we want CCTV, now we want sofa, carpet, now we want video, now we want this and that. But when threats are being given to the Chief Minister of Delhi, then the same Delhi Police is not saying a word. Why is Delhi Police silent, why has the person who threatened not been caught till now, why is the CCTV footage not being searched? It is not being searched because these threats have not been given by one Ankit Goyal. These threats are part of the conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. If they were not a part of the conspiracy, then this person who threatened (Shri Arvind Kejriwal) would have been in jail till now. But the Delhi Police is silent. This clearly shows that this conspiracy is being run from the Prime Minister’s Office, the same Prime Minister’s Office which is controlling Delhi Police, which is planting fake complaints, fake news on TV on behalf of Delhi Police every minute on the false allegations of Swati Maliwal ji, added the Delhi Cabinet Minister.
Atishi said, “Today the same Prime Minister’s Office is preparing to attack Arvind Kejriwal. I want to tell the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi that if you have the courage, then try to challenge us for our work. If you have the courage, then do work like Arvind Kejriwal, win the hearts of the people like Arvind Kejriwal did. Provide 24-hour electricity, improve government schools, provide free pilgrimage to the elderly, provide free treatment to every Delhi resident like Arvind Kejriwal did.”
The Delhi Cabinet Minister said but you will not do that because you do not know how to do that and you know that when you will face Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party in the electoral battle, then this time you are going to get zero out of seven seats in Delhi. “And due to the panic of this defeat, now preparations are being made to attack Shri Arvind Kejriwal,” she said.
