Expressing gratitude to the Supreme Court for granting the interim bail to him, AAP’s National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that the so-called Delhi liquor scam is completely fake. The Prime Minister himself has admitted that his agency has not found any evidence in the investigation. Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that these people say that Rs 100 crores have been stolen. They have conducted 500 raids, but not found a single penny, so where did those Rs 100 crores disappear? Even though these people are calling me corrupt, but the people of the country are saying that if Kejriwal is corrupt then no one in this world can be honest.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal, who along with Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann, reached Sangrur and Patiala to do road shows in support of the AAP candidates, said, “I am fully prepared to go to jail on June 2. I am proud that I am going to jail to save my country. These people are saying that Kejriwal has committed corruption. The public is saying that if Kejriwal is corrupt then there is no honest person in this world. They do not have single evidence. They say that Rs 100 crore has been stolen. They raided 500 places, but did not find a single penny. That Rs 100 crore did not vanish into thin air, did it? Recently, in a TV interview, the Prime Minister was asked that Kejriwal is saying that you do not have any proof, no recovery has been made, then why have you arrested him? So, the Prime Minister admitted that yes, we do not have any proof. We have not made any recovery. That is because Kejriwal is an experienced thief. When the Prime Minister admitted in front of the whole country that he does not have any proof, it means that the whole case is fake.”
The National Convenor of the AAP further stated, “Why have they arrested me? They have arrested me because the work that I am doing cannot be done by Modi ji. I made electricity free for people in Delhi and Punjab but Modi ji cannot do it. I built excellent government schools for people’s children; Modi ji cannot do it. I opened excellent Mohalla clinics for the treatment of people, built hospitals, Modi ji cannot do it. Modi ji cannot do the work that I have done. So, they decided to put me in jail thinking that it will end my work. Today the most vocal voice against their dictatorship and high-handedness is that of the Aam Aadmi Party. They want to silence my voice. They want to break me. They want to bow me down. No power in the world can break me. Bhagat Singh went to the gallows smilingly to free his country. I am Bhagat Singh’s disciple. If I have to go to jail 100 times to save the country, then I will go to jail 100 times.”
During the roadshow in Sangrur, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that you people had given us 92 out of 117 seats with a lot of love and trust 2 years ago. Today, once again, strengthen the hands of Sardar Bhagwant Mann. If all the 13 seats come to us, then these 13 MPs will become the 13 hands of Sardar Bhagwant Mann, who will bring Punjab’s dues from the central government. Right now, the Modi government indulges in high-handedness. The Modi government does not give Punjab its dues. Sardar Bhagwant Mann is fighting against the Modi government all alone. If 13 MPs are ours, then we will fight with them and bring your rights. Today, we have come amongst you. Your electricity bills have become zero. Free medicines and treatment are being provided in Mohalla clinics. Now government schools are being renovated. Children are getting government jobs. For the first time in 75 years, it is happening that children of the poor are getting jobs without bribe or recommendation. We have done a lot of work in 2 years, and a lot of work is still left to be done. We need your blessings. We have come to seek your blessings.
Speaking at the roadshow in Patiala, the AAP supremo said that the people of the whole country have made up their mind to remove Modi ji from power. People are extremely troubled by unemployment and inflation. Good days are coming and Modi ji is going to go. In the last two years, the Aam Aadmi Party government has done a lot of work for the people of Punjab. Electricity has been made free. Only in Delhi and Punjab, electricity is available 24×7 and there are no bills. This is magic. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has threatened the people of Punjab that the government you have elected will be toppled after June 4 and Sardar Bhagwant Mann will be removed from the post of Chief Minister. I want to tell them that Punjabis have a big heart, if you ask with folded hands and love, we will give you one or two seats, but now that you have threatened them, Punjabis will answer this on June 1. They have created high-handedness in the whole country and this high-handedness has to be ended.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann said that 6 phases of elections have been completed. Only one phase of elections is left. On 4th June, not the Modi Government but the INDIA alliance Government is coming and Punjab will have a huge contribution in that government. This is a fight to save the Constitution and democracy. We are asking for votes for the future of your children, not ours. Today I am standing amongst you people after giving 43,000 government jobs. Today everyone is getting 24 hours free electricity. There is water in the canals. On the other hand, Modi ji is asking for votes in the name of Mangalsutra and crematorium even after 10 years. He is saying that if the INDIA alliance government is formed, then they will take away two of your three goats. Does it look good for a Prime Minister to say all this? On the other hand, Shri Arvind Kejriwal has got only 21 days’ time from the court, but he is not resting. He is roaming all over the country to save the country.
Sardar Bhagwant Mann said that the way excellent schools and Mohalla clinics were built in Delhi, we have started building good schools and Mohalla clinics in Punjab too. Like Delhi, electricity has been made free in Punjab too. The BJP is afraid that only Delhi and Punjab have free electricity for 24 hours in the country. Ration is available door to door. The government comes to your house, you do not have to go there. The BJP is afraid of this and wants to finish off the Aam Aadmi Party. But Shri Arvind Kejriwal is not a party, he is a thought. You can arrest a person, but how will you arrest a thought, he questioned.
