Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai held a ‘Sankalp Sabha’ (resolution meeting) under the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign in Vishwas Nagar Assembly segment of East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency in support of INDIA alliance candidate Shri Kuldeep Kumar from here.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Gopal Rai said that this time the people of Delhi are ready to respond to the dictatorship of the BJP. The people of Delhi elected a Chief Minister with an overwhelming majority, but the BJP put him in jail without any evidence. He said Shri Arvind Kejriwal has worked wholeheartedly for the people of Delhi. Despite Delhi not being an electricity generating state, arrangements were made for 24 more hours of free electricity. The BJP has been cheating Delhi for 10 years. Therefore, this time the people of Delhi have decided to answer this dictatorship by electing a working MP.
Shri Gopal Rai said that the results of Lok Sabha elections are going to be declared on June 4, and the entire country is waiting for it. Four phases of elections have already been held in the country and elections are going to be held in Delhi on May 25. The people of Delhi gave 10 years to the BJP to run the central government. Now the public is asking them to give account of their work. But the BJP leaders did not do any work in the entire country. They are arrogant and feel that that people will still vote for them only. Today the youth, women and farmers of the country are asking questions to the BJP on inflation, unemployment and security, but the BJP has no answer to their questions. To every they have only one answer: Abki baar 400 paar (this time, they will cross 400).
Shri Gopal Rai said that this time the whole country is saying, Abki baar, BJP ki haar (this time, they will defeat BJP). And this time Delhi is going to teach them a lesson, so that they start working. These people deceive the public by making promises. Therefore, this time East Delhi has also geared up against these people. East Delhi has announced that twice we elected ‘useless’ MPs, this time we will elect a MP like Shri Kuldeep Kumar, who works for the people. This time, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party are contesting the elections together under the INDIA alliance. This time, the votes will not be divided. This time the BJP is bound to lose in Delhi.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor said, “We have to oust this dictatorial BJP from power in the country on May 25. And the democracy and constitution of this country have to be saved. On May 25, the people of Delhi will counter the arrogance of the BJP with the power of their votes and press the ‘broom’ (AAP’s election symbol) button.”
