Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has exhorted his MLAs to visit their respective areas regularly and solve the problems of the denizens pertaining to various government departments besides other problems faced by them.

This, despite the fact that the BJP central government may have sent Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal to jail _ where he lost 4.5 kg _ but even from jail, he is concerned about the 2-crore people of Delhi rather than himself. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal spoke to his wife, Smt. Sunita Kejriwal, through video conferencing and during this conversation, sent a message to all the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party through her.

Addressing a virtual press conference here today, Smt. Sunita Kejriwal read out a message sent from jail by the Delhi CM that is addressed to all the MLAs of his party.

“I am in jail. Because of this none of my fellow Delhiites should face any kind of trouble. Every MLA should visit the area daily and ask people whether they are facing any problem. Whatever problem someone has, solve it…,” the message read.

Urging the party MLAs to extend their full support in solving all the problems of the 2-crore people of Delhi in his clear message, the Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “…And I am not talking about solving only the problems of government departments, we have to try to solve other problems of the people as well. The 2-crore people of Delhi are my family, no one in my family should be sad for any reason. God bless everyone. Jai Hind,” read the message.

Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has sent several messages from jail after his arrest on March 21. In all his messages, he has reiterated his resolve to serve the 2-crore people of Delhi.

I will fulfill my promise of giving ₹1000 per month to women: Arvind Kejriwal

In his first message from jail, Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal had sent messages to his ministers regarding the problems of the people of Delhi. On March 23, CM Kejriwal had sent a message to the people of Delhi through his wife Sunita Kejriwal. The CM had said in the message that whether I stay inside or outside, I will continue to serve the country every moment. Every moment of my life is dedicated to the country, every drop of my life is for the country. I was born on this earth for struggle. I have struggled a lot till date, and there will be bigger struggles for me to face in my life in the future also. He had said in the message that his mothers and sisters from Delhi should not worry that Kejriwal has gone inside, whether they will get ₹1000 now. I appeal to all mothers and sisters to have faith in their son and brother (Kejriwal). I will come out soon and fulfill my promise.

Water, sewer problem should be solved: Arvind Kejriwal

On March 24, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal had sent a message to Water Minister Atishi to solve the problems of water supply and sewerage in Delhi. CM Kejriwal had said in his message that I have come to know that there are many problems of water and sewer in some areas of Delhi. I am worried about this. Since I am in jail, people should not face any trouble because of this. Summer is also coming. Wherever there is shortage of water, arrange for an adequate number of tankers. Give appropriate orders to the Chief Secretary and other officers so that the public does not face any kind of problem. There should be an immediate and appropriate solution to public problems. If needed, take help from the Lieutenant Governor also. He will definitely help you.

There should be adequate availability of medicines, free tests in hospitals: Arvind Kejriwal

On March 26, CM Arvind Kejriwal sent a message to Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj asking him to improve the health services. The CM had said in the message that I have received information that some problems are being faced in the facility of free testing and free medicines in Mohalla clinics at many places. The CM said that the facility of free medicines and tests which was available till now in all the hospitals and Mohalla Clinics of Delhi, should continue to run smoothly. Immediately after the order of the Chief Minister, the Health Minister along with the officials of the department started working on improving these arrangements. The Health Minister has assured the people of Delhi that the people of Delhi will not have to face any problem regarding health services.
