Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) national convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal held six consecutive ‘Nukkad Sabhas’ (public rallies) on Sunday, rallying support for INDIA Alliance’s and AAP candidate Sahiram Pehalwan from the South Lok Sabha seat. Starting from Badarpur Sabzi Mandi, the rallies passed through Tughlakabad, Kalkaji, Sangam Vihar, Ambedkar Nagar, and concluded in Chhatarpur. In all these ‘nukkad Sabhas’, the AAP supremo received overwhelming public support at each stop. Addressing the enthusiastic crowds from atop a car, he pointed towards the Prime Minister’s opposition to free bus travel for women in Delhi in anTV interview, stating that amidst rising inflation, the PM should extend this benefit nationwide. Shri Arvind Kejriwal assured Delhiites that as long as he is alive, free bus travel for women will continue. The rallies were attended by other senior AAP leaders and local MLAs.
Addressing a ‘Nukkad Sabha’ (public rally) in Badarpur, AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that I came among you people directly from jail. The Prime Minister had sent me to jail. “I used to miss you people a lot and I know that you people also missed me a lot. God listened to us and sent me among you. I came to know that crores of women of Delhi and the country have done a lot of worship for my release. It is the miracle of your worship that I have come among you people to campaign,” he added.
The AAP Supremo continued, stating, “One day I was sitting in the jail cell and saw on TV that the Supreme Court had granted me bail. At first, I could not believe this. This is a big miracle. I am a Lord Bajrang Bali bhakt (devotee). With his blessings, I am among you people today. The court has given me 21 days to campaign. After that I’m supposed to go again. When I went to a place for an election campaign the day before yesterday, a lady there told me, ‘son, God has sent you here for 21 days to destroy the BJP’.”
The Delhi Chief Minister stated, “I am a small man. We have a small party, we have governments in Delhi and Punjab. I was thinking why the Prime Minister sent me to jail? He is such a big and powerful man. What is my fault? My fault is that I arranged for a food education for your children. I built schools for your children. The Prime Minister does not do this. He himself does not build schools, but when I built schools, he says that Kejriwal should close the schools. I said that I am a small man. I have built 500 schools in Delhi. You are such a big man, if you get 50,000 schools built in the whole country, then it is your greatness. You are arresting Kejriwal and closing schools. This is wrong. This is not good for the country.”
“My fault is that I opened Mohalla Clinics at various places for the treatment of you people and arranged free medicines for you. Opened hospitals, arranged for free treatment. These people cannot do this. That is why they say that Kejriwal should be arrested, and his Mohalla Clinics should be closed. I say that if I build 500 Mohalla Clinics then you are the head of the country, you build 5 lakh Mohalla Clinics. The people of the country will hail you. What is it that you arrest Kejriwal and close the Mohalla Clinics? This is not good for country,” he said.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal mentioned, “I made all medicines and treatment free for people of Delhi, but the irony is that when I went to Tihar Jail, these people (BJP) stopped my medicines for 15 days. I am a diabetic patient; my sugar level has been very high for 20 years. For 10 years I have been taking 52 units of insulin injection daily. I get 4 insulin injections in my stomach every day. When I went to jail, they stopped my insulin. My sugar level had reached 300-350. If a person’s sugar level remains high for a long time, his liver and kidneys get damaged. I pleaded with them many times for insulin. When the people of Delhi and the media raised their voice, then they started my insulin. I don’t know what these people wanted to do with me.”
The Delhi CM shared, “My fault is that I made bus travel free for women in Delhi. Just a day before yesterday, in a TV interview with Prime Minister Modi, a journalist said that Arvind Kejriwal is providing free bus travel facility to women in Delhi. On this, the Prime Minister said that this free travel is not right. There should not be free travel in buses. I thought in my mind that there is so much inflation, Prime Minister ji, it would have been great if you had made bus travel free for women in the entire country. But you want to stop it even for Delhiites. This is not right. But you don’t worry, your Kejriwal is alive. As long as Kejriwal is there, I will not let anything happen to your free bus travel. Now they (BJP) are saying that I have to go to jail again on June 2. Whether I have to go to jail or not, it is now in your hands. When you press the button, if you press the ‘Kamal’ (Lotus, BJP’s electoral symbol) button then I will have to go to jail. And if you press the ‘jhadu’ (broom) button then I will be free among you.”
“They are after us badly. I don’t know what is going on. One by one all our leaders were put in jail. Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Sanjay Singh were put in jail. I was put in jail. Now they are saying that Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj will also be put in jail. What is all this? If you cannot win in Delhi, does it mean that you will arrest everyone and put them in jail? What kind of democracy is this? This is wrong. You too should do good work for the people,” he stated.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal conveyed, “Whenever I come among you to ask for votes, I tell you that I have built schools for you, hospitals and Mohalla Clinics, I have made electricity free for 24 hours, I have made pilgrimages for the elderly free, so vote for me. I do not arrest people and put them in jail. I do not do negative politics. They (BJP) think 24 hours a day and night about whom to put in jail.”
“I have been roaming around the country for the last 7-8 days. I went to Punjab, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Bhiwandi and Mumbai. People everywhere are angry with inflation and unemployment. Inflation has increased so much that the BJP is not going to form the government on 4 June. Write this down. They also know that they are getting less than 220 seats. That is why these people are frustrated. These days Prime Minister Modi is employing strange abuses in his interactions,” he added.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal shared that when he went to Mumbai, Shri Sharad Pawar told me that the Prime Minister said in Mumbai that Sharad Pawar is a wandering soul. This is not a good thing. He is an 84-year-old person, Modi ji is 74 years old. One should respect elders. He told Uddhav Thackeray that he is a fake child. Does it behoove the Prime Minister to say this? He is completely frustrated. Sometimes he talks about ‘Mangalsutra’, sometimes about something else. “Despite running the country for 10 years, you do not have a single work to count. So, it is a matter of great sadness that in 10 years you have ruined the lives of people by bringing inflation and unemployment,” he added.
The AAP supremo affirmed that on June 4, the INDIA alliance government will be formed, and the AAP will also be a part of the government. “On behalf of the people of Delhi, I will make only one demand that Delhi should get the status of a full state. We have improved education and hospitals in Delhi. These Police do not listen to you. We will also improve the police. This time you should give all the seven seats of Delhi to the INDIA alliance. The AAP and the Congress have formed an alliance. You have to win all the seven seats. The INDIA Alliance government will be formed in the entire country on June 4. Your beloved Sahiram Pahalwan is our INDIA alliance candidate from South Delhi. You have to make him win by a record margin by giving him a huge majority, maintaining Kejriwal’s respect,” he concluded.

Addressing a ‘Nukkad Sabha’ in Kalkaji, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that now they have put my PA in jail. This morning, all of us went to the BJP headquarters. We said that we have come, put everyone in jail at once, why are you feeling sad. What is going on in the country? Is this how countries are run? You are the Prime Minister, do something for the country. The public is unhappy with you. People are troubled by unemployment and inflation. It has become difficult to run the house. Children are sitting at home after studying, employment is not available. People are very angry. At the same time, the law and order situation in Delhi is very bad. If you go to the police station, the Police do not listen. After June 4, the Police will listen. We will also fix the police. The LG of Delhi will be yours. We will bring such an LG who will work for you, and will not stop your work. Therefore, you should vote in large numbers. Do not be lazy due to the heat. Cast every vote for the AAP. Will improve the safety of women by improving law and order- Arvind Kejriwal
In Sangam Vihar and Chhatarpur, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that I made electricity free for the people of Delhi. They want to stop your free electricity. That is why they have arrested me. We have fixed everything in Delhi – schools, hospitals, Mohalla Clinics, electricity, water. Now we will fix the law and order of Delhi. Thefts and robberies keep happening every day, women are not safe. We will fix all this. We will bring a working LG. A huge crowd gathered to listen to Shri Arvind Kejriwal who had come to hold election ‘Nukkad Sabha’ (public rally) in different areas of South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Wherever Shri Arvind Kejriwal held ‘Nukkad Sabha’ (public rally), people welcomed him with flower garlands and bouquets. Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Lok Sabha candidate Sahiram Pehalwanl were addressing the people standing on the roof of the car. The crowd had gathered from far and wide to listen to him. During this time, people were also listening to him standing on the roof, balcony and window of their houses.
