Development Minister launches 24×7 animal healthcare services

The Minister of Development, Govt. of Delhi, Shri Gopal Rai today inaugurated 24 × 7 Animal Health Care Services in the Government Veterinary Hospital at Zorawar Singh Marg, Tis Hajari, Delhi. On this occasion, he said that now Animal Health Care Services will be made available to the people for 24×7 hours. The Animal Husbandry Department has also launched helpline number 011-23967555 for animal health care assistance to people in Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Gopal Rai said that the first time 24 × 7 animal health care services have been started in Government Veterinary Hospital in Delhi. Now people can avail the animal health care facilities from there.

The Development Minister said that 24 × 7 veterinary health care hospitals will be made in all the districts of Delhi.

Shri Gopal Rai said that for the first time in Delhi, a policy has been created for the health and welfare of animals. The Minister of Animal Husbandry said that in Delhi there was no policy up till now for the welfare and health care of animals.

Development Minister said that in all 272 wards such animal healthcare service hospitals will be constructed.

Shri Gopal Rai said that the shortage of doctors in Animal Husbandry Department will be removed soon and lying vacant posts will be filled. He further said that the Delhi Government is also increasing the budget of the Department to make animal health care and for new Government Hospital.

दिल्ली के विकास मंत्री श्री गोपाल राय ने आज 24 ×7पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सेवाएँ का उद्घाटन सरकारी पशु चिकित्सालय,जोरावर सिंह मार्ग ,तीस हजारी ,दिल्ली में किया. इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि अब पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सेवाएँ लोगों के लिए 24 घंटे उपलब्ध होगी.दिल्ली के लोगों को पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभाल संबंधी सहायता के लिए पशुपालन विभाग ने हेल्पलाइन नंबर 011 –23967555 जारी किया है.

विकास मंत्री श्री गोपाल राय ने आगे बताया कि दिल्ली में पहली बार 24 ×7 पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सेवाओं को सरकारीअस्पताल में शुरु किया गया है.

विकास मंत्री ने बताया कि दिल्ली के सभी जिलों में 24 ×7पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सेवाएँका अस्पताल बनाए जाएंगे. उन्होंने आगे कहा कि इस से पशु-पक्षिओं को उनके पास ही स्वास्थ्यसेवाएँ उपलब्ध हो जायेगी.

श्री गोपाल राय ने बताया कि दिल्ली में पहली बार पशुओं के स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण के लिए पालिसी बनाई गई है .पशुपालन मंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली में अब तक पशु-पक्षी के कल्याण एवं स्वास्थ्य देखभाल के लिए कोई पालिसी नहीं बनी थी.

विकास मंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली में सभी 272 वार्डों में पशुओं के अस्पताल बनाए जाएंगे.

श्री गोपाल राय ने बताया कि पशु पालन विभाग में डॉक्टरों कि कमी को भी जल्द दूर किया जायेगा. उन्होंने आगे बताया कि पशु स्वास्थ्य देखभालएवं नए सरकारी अस्पताल बनाने के लिए दिल्ली सरकार विभाग के बजट में भी बढोतरी कर रही है .
