The BJP’s conspiracy to trap Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal by making Swati Maliwal a pawn has been exposed with another video coming to the fore. Exposing the entire nexus in this conspiracy through a press conference on Saturday, senior AAP leader Atishi said as per Swati Maliwal’s FIR, after the alleged attack, she was not in a position to walk and was writhing in pain; but the CCTV footage is telling a different story.
Addressing media persons, senior AAP leader Atishi said that a video of former chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women and Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal from the CM’s drawing room has come to the fore and the whole nation has watched it. In the video, Swati Maliwal can be seen threatening the security personnel that she has called ‘112’, and the police is arriving. It is clear from her words that the time period in which the video is made is after the same time where she is claiming that she was attacked. It is clearly visible in the video that neither Swati Maliwal’s clothes have been torn off, nor is she crying in pain, nor has she been hit on the head. It is clear that whatever allegations she has made in her police complaint are absolutely false.
On the contrary, she herself is shouting at and threatening the police personnel. Nowhere did she show that she is being mistreated or assaulted. She was nowhere seen pointing at Bibhav Kumar and indicating that he had attacked her. Rather she herself is hurling abuses at Bibhav Kumar. The video that came out yesterday has exposed the allegations of Swati Maliwal in front of the entire country.
Atishi stated, “Today we are going to show you another video, this is the CCTV footage of the gate of Chief Minister’s residence. This also exposes Swati Maliwal’s lies because if you have seen the FIR that she has filed, she has mentioned that she was attacked so brutally that she was unable to walk, was in a state of unconsciousness. ‘I was limping and crying in pain.’ This is what Swati Maliwal has mentioned in her complaint but the footage from the CM residence’s gate shows that she is walking comfortably and at a good pace without any problem. Even when she’s going out, she can be seen pushing female police personnel who was escorting her outside. She was pointing fingers at the police personnel and threatening them. Her clothes are not torn anywhere, there is no injury on her head, she is not limping anywhere, and she’s not even crying in pain.
Showing the footage from the gate at the CM’s residence, Atishi said that this video makes it clear that all the allegations made in the FIR by Swati Maliwal are false. Both the videos that have come to the fore prove that the allegations levelled by Swati Maliwal are a part of another big conspiracy that is being hatched against Shri Arvind Kejriwal by the BJP. She stated that a lot of people have been asking us that why are we saying that this is a conspiracy hatched by the BJP. They are asking what Swati Maliwal or this case has got to do with the BJP. Today, I will also expose the relation between this case, Swati Maliwal and the BJP.
“Number one, it has become a standard operating procedure of the BJP to file cases against opposition leaders through ED, CBI, police, Economic Offences Wing, and Anti-Corruption Bureau. These agencies are misused by the BJP to tighten the screws on opposition leaders and blackmail them into joining the BJP. There is a long list of leaders who were made to join the BJP using this formula, including Himanta Bishwa Sarma, Praful Patel, Ajit Pawar, among others. Under the same formula, Swati Maliwal is also being threatened by the BJP. She is facing a recruitment scam case of Anti-Corruption Bureau of the BJP for wrongly recruiting contractual employees in the DCW. This case has been going on for several years and an FIR and a chargesheet have already been filed against her and now this matter is nearing its conviction. The BJP may have pressurized Swati Maliwal by threatening jail and punishment as per its standard operating procedure,” Atishi stated.
“Number two, the BJP’s involvement is clear because of the way they are using all their machinery, from the MHA to Delhi Police as per their motives. This was proven in the Tis Hazari Court yesterday. Yesterday, Bibhav Kumar filed an application and said that it has come to my notice that I have been made an accused in this FIR, the FIR which is with all the media channels since last two days. Bibhav Kumar filed a case in the Tis Hazari Court and asked for a copy of this FIR as part of his legal right. Since yesterday morning, the court kept asking for a copy of the FIR from the police and when the copy was not given even in the evening, the court issued an order that this morning the Delhi Police should be present in the Tis Hazari court with a copy of the FIR.”
Expressing dismay at Delhi Police’s hypocrisy, Atishi stated that this morning, Delhi Police has given a reply in the court. In its reply, Delhi Police stated that this FIR is very sensitive so we cannot submit this FIR in the court, we cannot share it with the accused. Taking potshots at the BJP, Atishi stated that the FIR which was sent to every media person, was sent to every TV channel, YouTuber, and website in the last two days by the BJP, the same BJP and their police is saying that the FIR cannot be given to the court and the accused.
“What is this showing? This shows that this conspiracy of the BJP is not hatched by the SHO Civil Lines or the Commissioner of Police, this conspiracy is hatched directly by the MHA. This case is being monitored directly from the highest level of the BJP. Whether it was about running the case on media platforms or saying that we will not give FIR to the court or the accused,” she stated.
Number 3, Bibhav Kumar had filed a counter-complaint with Delhi Police 24 hours ago. Till now Delhi Police has not even filed an FIR based on his complaint. How is it that when Swati Maliwal’s issue came to the fore, the police on their own reached her house, spent hours at her residence, lodged an FIR within an hour and within two hours, the story was running on all the media channels. On the other hand, when Bibhav Kumar filed complaints of trespassing, security breach, misbehaviour with government officials, Delhi police is silent. Delhi Police has not even filed an FIR. Why is Delhi Police silent on this? Because Delhi police is not investigating the case, it has become a weapon of the BJP. Delhi Police is attacking Shri Arvind Kejriwal at the behest of the BJP just before the elections and this is the whole truth of the matter. This whole matter is to attack Shri Arvind Kejriwal and is related to elections. This is a huge conspiracy being hatched by the BJP to make these allegations against Shri Arvind Kejriwal now that he is out of jail, she concluded.
