The Aam Aadmi Party further corners its opponents, including the BJP, for failing in their duty to work for the issues of common man as Delhi inches closer to MCD elections. The party showed mirror to BJP politicians who continue to hurl abuses at Shri Arvind Kejriwal as he is about to lead AAP to a monumental win. BJP’s maladministration and apathy created a menace in the lives of people of Delhi who feel plagued with all sorts of civic issues and see Shri Arvind Kejriwal as a worthy leader to bring development in MCD and make Delhi a world-class city. Cautioning the voters to exercise their voting power effectively, Senior AAP leader and Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia camped in Dwarka ahead of MCD elections. He held a Samvad in Dwarka assembly constituency where he interacted with local residents to discuss various civic issues they faced as a result of BJP’s maladministration and corruption during its rule in MCD spanning over 15 years. AAP MLA from Matiala Shri Gulab Singh, AAP’s MCD candidate from Dwarka-A Captain Shalini Singh and AAP’s MCD candidate from Dwarka-B Sudha Sinha were also present during the Jansamvad. Shri Manish Sisodia said, “Delhi is all set to elect CM Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP in MCD too. What BJP could not do in MCD for 15 years, AAP will achieve in 5 years. Voting for anyone other than AAP equals to a waste of vote. CM Arvind Kejriwal’s councillors will resolve all the issues faced by the people and bring development in their area. They will ensure regular cleanliness of their wards.”
Senior AAP leader and Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia also tweeted, “I have two questions for those garbage-warriors of BJP who are seeking votes for MCD elections. Why did BJP turn Delhi into a city of piles of garbage and garbage mountains in the past 15 years? Do BJP leaders know anything other than abusing Shri Arvind Kejriwal?”
Senior AAP leader and Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia said, “This time the people of Delhi are ready to give a chance to Shri Arvind Kejriwal in the MCD as well. Over the past 15 years, the BJP has laid waste to the entire city. The main and primary responsibility of the BJP-ruled MCD was to clean Delhi, clear the garbage, but the BJP proved to be an absolute failure and ended up turning Delhi into a dumping ground. Over just 7 years, the AAP government under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal built world class schools & hospitals, provided free & 24-hour electricity, and fulfilled all of its responsibilities as an honest, citizen-centric government.”
Shri Manish Sisodia shared a memory from the 2015 election campaign and recalled that people living in society-flats of Dwarka were dependent on tankers for water. The AAP had promised that the people of Dwarka would be rid of this crisis. Dwarka’s citizens trusted Shri Kejriwal and gave him a chance, and he delivered what he promised. This time, give Shri Arvind Kejriwal a chance to govern the MCD and the AAP will solve each & every problem faced by citizens in the MCD.”
He continued, “BJP had only one job in the MCD for 15 years- The primary task of the BJP-ruled MCD was to clean Delhi’s parks, streets and drains, but the BJP not only failed to clean Delhi, but they only succeeded at wiping the pockets of our citizens with its corruption. Instead of cleaning Delhi, the BJP raised 3 mountains of garbage in the city over the last 15 years. When citizens of Delhi question the BJP regarding their utter failure, their leaders only give excuses by saying that it is normal for mountains of garbage to be formed wherever people live. These mountains of garbage are ultimately the mountains of BJP’s failure. The public is fed up with them and this time they are ready to wipe out the BJP from the MCD.”
He added, “Just as there is Arvind Kejriwal’s government in Delhi, AAP will form government in MCD as well. When the AAP will be in power at both levels of governance, the work of the people will not stop at any cost, and results shall be delivered. This is why the citizens of Dwarka should also elect councillors from the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP’s councillors have the ability and the conviction to get work done. They will ensure that the city is cleaned, but if a councillor of any other party is elected, they will only interrupt the work being done for the public and will be busy fighting CM Arvind Kejriwal 24×7. Thus, the people should vote for AAP in MCD as well, to defeat the party that is constantly busy in fighting and interrupting work being done for the welfare of the city.”
Shri Manish Sisodia concluded, “It is a matter of great shame and sorrow that the capital of the country, Delhi, has been turned into a garbage dumping ground by the BJP because of its failure. It is because of them that today, there are piles of garbage on the streets and roads of Delhi. Looking at the city, it feels as if there is no such authority as a Municipal corporation here. Therefore, this time, it is the responsibility of citizens of Delhi to fix the Municipal Corporation by exercising the power of their vote and bring the Aam Aadmi Party to power. AAP can achieve within just 5 years what BJP failed to do in the past 15 years.”

आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता व दिल्ली के उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने रविवार को द्वारका विधानसभा में स्थानीय जनता के साथ संवाद किया। इसके जरिए भाजपा के कुशासन के कारण एमसीडी में जनता के सामने आ रही विभिन्न समस्याओं को जाना। इस दौरान मटियाला से आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायक गुलाब सिंह, द्वारका ए से ‘आप’ की निगम प्रत्याशी कैप्टन शालिनी सिंह व द्वारका-बी से ‘आप’ की निगम प्रत्याशी सुधा सिन्हा मौजूद रहीं।
उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि दिल्ली की जनता इस बार एमसीडी में भी केजरीवाल जी को मौका देने जा रही है। भाजपा ने पिछले 15 सालों में पूरी दिल्ली का बेड़ागर्क कर दिया है। भाजपा शासित एमसीडी की प्राथमिक जिम्मेदारी दिल्ली की साफ़-सफाई और कूड़ा साफ़ करना था, लेकिन भाजपा इसमें पूरी तरह फेल साबित हुई। पूरी दिल्ली को कूड़ा घर बना दिया। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्व में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार ने मात्र 7 सालों में पूरी दिल्ली में शानदार स्कूल, शानदार अस्पताल बनवाए, फ्री 24 घंटे बिजली दी और एक ईमानदार सरकार के रूप में अपनी सारी जिम्मेदारियां निभाईं। 2015 तक द्वारका की सोसाइटी-फ्लैटों में रह रहे लोगों को पानी के लिए टैंकर पर निर्भर होना पड़ता था। तब हमने वादा किया था कि द्वारका के लोगों को इस समस्या से जरुर निजात दिलाएंगे। तब लोगों ने केजरीवाल जी पर भरोसा दिखाया और उन्हें एक मौका दिया। सीएम केजरीवाल जी द्वारका की पानी की समस्या को दूर किया। अब इस बार लोग एमसीडी में भी केजरीवाल जी को मौका दें, हम एमसीडी में भी जनता को हर समस्या से छुटकारा दिलाएंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि एमसीडी में बीजेपी के पास 15 साल से एक ही काम था। भाजपा शासित एमसीडी का काम दिल्ली के पार्कों, गलियों और नालियों की सफाई करना था, लेकिन भाजपा ने दिल्ली की सफाई तो नहीं की बल्कि अपने भ्रष्टाचार से दिल्ली के लोगों कि जेबें साफ़ कर दीं। भाजपा ने दिल्ली को साफ़ करने के बजाय पिछले 15 सालों में दिल्ली में कूड़े के तीन पहाड़ खड़े कर दिए। जब दिल्ली के लोग इसपर उनसे सवाल पूछते हैं तो बीजेपी वाले बोलते है कि लोग रहेंगे तो कूड़े के पहाड़ बनेंगे ही। ये कूड़े के पहाड़ भाजपा की नाकामी के पहाड़ हैं। जनता इनसे त्रस्त है और अबकी बार एमसीडी से भाजपा का सूपड़ा साफ़ करने के लिए तैयार है।
उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली में अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार है। इस बार एमसीडी में भी आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनने जा रही है। जब दोनों जगह आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार होगी तो जनता का कोई भी काम नहीं रुकेगा और सारे काम होंगे। इसलिए द्वारका कि जनता भी अपने यहां आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षद को ही चुने। आम आदमी पार्टी का पार्षद जनता के सारे काम करवाएगा। वह खूब अच्छे से सफाई करवाएगा, गलियां बनवायेगा। यदि किसी और पार्टी का पार्षद बनेगा तो वो 24 घंटे सिर्फ जनता के काम रुकवाएगा। केवल अरविंद केजरीवाल जी से लड़ने का काम करेगा। इसलिए जनता लड़ाई-झगडे करने वाले, जनता के काम को रुकवाने वालों को रोकने के लिए एमसीडी में भी आम आदमी पार्टी को ही वोट दे। दिल्ली में केजरीवाल जी की सरकार है। ऐसे में आपके क्षेत्र में भी केजरीवाल जी का पार्षद होगा तो आपके सारे काम होंगे।
मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि यह बेहद शर्म और दुःख कि बात है कि देश की राजधानी दिल्ली को भाजपा ने अपने नाकामी की वजह से कूड़ा-कूड़ा कर दिया है। इनकी वजह से आज दिल्ली की गलियों-सड़कों पर कूड़े का अंबार लगा हुआ है। शहर को देख कर ऐसा लगता ही नहीं है की यहां नगर निगम जैसी कोई अथॉरिटी है। इसलिए इस बार नगर निगम को ठीक करने की जिम्मेदारी दिल्ली की जनता की है, जो अपने वोट के दम पर एमसीडी में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनाएगी। भाजपा से जो काम पिछले 15 सालों में नहीं हुआ उसे मात्र 5 साल में करके दिखाएगी।
