Over a thousand Delhi government schools hosted Mega PTM on Saturday to motivate parents to be active participants in the learning journey of their children. The PTM was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia at five government schools across Delhi where he interacted with the parents and students. During the interaction, he said, “Our children studying in Delhi government schools deserve world-class education and all the facilities to ensure that. There is no dearth of talent among these students and it is the responsibility of the government to carve their talent better by providing facilities. Initiatives of the government like Mega PTM bring together all the stakeholders of the education system such as parents, children and teachers together and help them strategize better for the future.”
During the interaction, the students were excited to discuss the future plans of the schools with the Deputy Chief Minister, who shared the approved designs with the students and took their feedback on the development of schools.
Shri Manish Sisodia added that the development of schools and the Delhi Education Model have always been the priority of the Delhi Government and this is the reason why Delhi government schools are giving competition to private schools today. Parents of Delhi are now relieved that their children’s future is now secure in Delhi government schools. “I am grateful to the parents of Delhi for trusting the government led by CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal,” he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that over the past few years Delhi’s education model has gained appreciation all over the world. The government under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has not only improved the infrastructure of the schools but has also given national and international level training to the teachers which improved the academic results of the schools. Not only this, but students studying in Delhi government schools are also performing excellently in extracurriculars. The government in the past few years has also introduced various assessment reforms in the schools and now students are assessed more on the basis of their understanding rather than rote learning ability. They are given various projects and assignments over the years which assess their understanding of the subjects.
He added that after Delhi government schools, it is now the turn for MCD schools and work to improve them has already started.
Given the upcoming examination season, the major focus during the Mega PTM was laid on improving learning experiences and learning outcomes for students along with discussions on setting comprehensive preparation strategies for mid-term and pre-board exams.
Parents tell Dy CM Manish Sisodia that they feel relaxed about their children’s future after sending them to Delhi government schools
During the visit to the schools throughout the day, the Deputy Chief Minister met many parents. A parent in Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, East Vinod Nagar told that they had never expected the school to look like a private school when they first visited here. But now the school is counted as one of the best schools in the area. “Teachers have set the bar of education really high in the schools which makes students think out of the box and work hard for their brighter future. Over the years we have witnessed a great amount of change in the pedagogy styles in the schools. We feel proud that our children are students of Delhi government schools,” said parents.
Adding to the words of parents, students said that they were pressured for marks when they were studying in private schools whereas in Delhi government schools they are nurtured to be all-rounders.
It is noteworthy that Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia met the parents at Govt. SSS (Co-ed), Block E, West Vinod Nagar, RSKV East Vinod Nagar, SoSE Surajmal Vihar, SBV Pocket 4, phase 1, Mayur Vihar, and Janki Devi SBV Mayur Vihar Pocket 2 during Mega PTM.

केजरीवाल सरकार के सभी स्कूलों में शनिवार को मेगा पीटीएम का आयोजन किया गया। स्कूलों में आयोजित मेगा पीटीएम में पेरेंट्स जबरदस्त उत्साह के साथ शामिल हुए| पेरेंट्स का कॉन्फिडेंस और उनके चेहरे की खुशी ये साबित कर रही थी कि इन स्कूलों में उनके बच्चों के भविष्य की शानदार नींव डाली जा रही है और बच्चों को वर्ल्ड-क्लास एजुकेशन दी जा रही है। उपमुख्यमंत्री व शिक्षामंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने मेगा पीटीएम् के दौरान आज 5 स्कूलों का दौरा किया और पीटीएम के दौरान पेरेंट्स व बच्चों से बातचीत की| उन्होने कहा कि आज सभो स्कूलों में पेरेंट्स टीचर्स मीटिंग एक उत्सव के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है और मुझे इस बात की ख़ुशी है कि मेगा पीटीएम में पैरेंट्स बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा ले रहे है और शिक्षकों से बच्चो के लर्निंग, उनके प्रदर्शन को और बेहतर बनाने के तरीकों पर चर्चा कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि मेगा पीटीएम अभिभावकों और शिक्षकों को एक साथ लाता है और उन्हें बच्चों के भविष्य के लिए बेहतर रणनीति बनाने में मदद करता है|
उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्व में हमने शिक्षा को अपनी प्राथमिकता बनाई और इसका नतीजा है कि आज दिल्ली सरकार के सभी स्कूल शानदार बन गये है और यहाँ हर तबके के बच्चों को वर्ल्ड-क्लास एजुकेशन दी जा रही है| उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार की प्राथमिकता है कि हर बच्चे को शानदार शिक्षा मिलनी चाहिए क्योंकि बच्चे केवल किसी परिवार का भविष्य मात्र नहीं होते बल्कि देश का भविष्य भी है| उन्होंने कहा कि हमने दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों को शानदार बनाया बच्चों-टीचर्स को सुविधाएं दी ये बदलाव का हिस्सा है लेकिन सबसे बड़ा बदलाव ये है कि हम अब रटने की आदत से हटकर सीखने की आदत को अपना रहे है| हमारे शिक्षा प्रणाली की सबसे बड़ी कमी रटने की आदत है और हम उसे समझने और सीखने की आदत में बदल रहे है|
पेरेंट्स से बातचीत के दौरान श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि, “दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले हमारे बच्चे विश्व स्तरीय शिक्षा और शानदार सुविधाएँ पाने के हकदार हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे छात्रों में प्रतिभा की कोई कमी नहीं है और यह सरकार की जिम्मेदारी है कि वह सुविधाएं मुहैया कराकर उनकी प्रतिभा को बेहतर तरीके से तराशें और इस दिशा में हम निरंतर काम भी कर रहे है। श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि स्कूलों का विकास और दिल्ली शिक्षा मॉडल हमेशा से केजरीवाल सरकार की प्राथमिकता रही है और यही वजह है कि आज दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूल निजी स्कूलों को टक्कर दे रहे हैं।
बातचीत के दौरान पेरेंट्स के अंदर अपने बच्चों को दिल्ली सरकार के स्कुल में पढ़ाने के प्रति आत्मविश्वास भी देखने को मिला| पेरेंट्स ने बताया कि पिछले कुछ सालों में न केवल स्कूल की बिल्डिंग शानदार हुई है, बच्चों को पढने के लिए बेहतर सुविधाएँ और वातावरण मिला है बल्कि अब स्कूल उनकी प्रतिभा को निखार उन्हें आगे बढ़ने के मौके भी दे रहा है| इसपर श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि दिल्ली की जनता ने मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्व पर भरोसा जताया और दिल्ली के स्कूलों में आई ये क्रांति उसी भरोसे का प्रतीक है| उन्होंने कहा कि अभिभावकों को अब चिंता करने की कोई जरुरत नहीं है क्योंकि उनके बच्चों का भविष्य दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों में सुरक्षित है |
उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों के बाद अब एमसीडी स्कूलों की बारी है और उनमें सुधार के लिए काम शुरू हो चुका है।
इस बार के मेगा पीटीएम् में क्या रहा खास
पीटीएम में अभिभावकों ने शिक्षकों से बच्चों के लर्निंग एक्सपीरियंस को और बेहतर करने के तरीकों को जाना और ये समझा कि स्कूल द्वारा ऐसी कौन-कौन सी गतिविधियाँ करवाई जा रही है जिससे बच्चों के लर्निंग आउटकम में सुधार हो| साथ ही मेगा पीटीएम के दौरान टीचर्स व् पेरेंट्स ने मिड-टर्म व प्री-बोर्ड परीक्षाओं में बच्चों के प्रदर्शन और उसमें सुधार लाने के लिए आगे की रणनीतियों पर भी चर्चा की|

श्री सिसोदिया ने मेगा पीटीएम के दौरान 5 स्कूलों में दौरा कर पेरेंट्स से बातचीत की| इस दौरान सर्वोदय विद्यालय विनोद नगर की एक अभिभावक ने बताया कि जब वे पहली बार इस स्कूल में आई थी तो यहाँ बुरा हाल था| बच्चों के पढने के लिए क्लासरूम तक नहीं थे| स्कूल टेंट वाले स्कूल के नाम से जाना जाता था क्योंकि स्कूल बिल्डिंग के नाम पर यहाँ सिर्फ कुछ टेंट लगे होते थे| लेकिन पिछले कुछ सालों में स्कूल में काफी बदलाव आये है| उन्होंने कहा कि यह स्कूल अब किसी प्राइवेट स्कूल से कम नहीं लगता और इसकी गिनती इलाके के बेहतरीन स्कूलों में होती है।

एक अन्य पैरेंट ने कहा कि पिछले कुछ सालों में दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों में शिक्षा के स्तर में खूब सुधार हुए है| शिक्षकों ने स्कूलों में शिक्षा का स्तर बहुत ऊँचा रखा है जो छात्रों को लीक से हटकर सोचने और उनके उज्जवल भविष्य के लिए कड़ी मेहनत करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है। हमें गर्व महसूस होता है कि हमारे बच्चे दिल्ली सरकार के स्कूलों के छात्र हैं।
