Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Punjab co-in-charge Shri Raghav Chadha on Wednesday said that yesterday the entire country witnessed how central agencies and BJP people like Deep Sidhu infiltrated in farmers’ protest and instigated the violence. He said that BJP sleeper cell agents like Deep Sidhu and Central agencies under the BJP govt were behind yesterday’s shameful Red Fort incident. He said that BJP agent Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh is maligning the AAP on the instruction of BJP because we exposed his nexus with BJP. Shri Chadha said that Deep Sidhu who is the mastermind of yesterday’s violence has a close connection with PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that today Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta and Punjab CM has claimed a person named Amrik Singh who was also behind the violence is from AAP; he is neither a member nor an office bearer of AAP. He said that Amrik Singh is a close confidante of BJP MP Sunny Deol and also close to the top leadership of both BJP and SAD. Shri Chadha said that the AAP condemns the witch hunt against the farmer leader and demands that Delhi Police must not harass them but arrest the sleeper cell agents of BJP who were involved in yesterday’s violence.
Shri Chadha said, “Yesterday we all witnessed what happened in Delhi and most importantly at the Red Fort of Delhi. We have condemned the violence and believe that such a thing should not have happened. But today it is also clear that the agencies under the BJP ruled central government were involved in instigating the violence. The agencies under the BJP ruled central government infiltrated this protest and tried to malign the protest. We also believe that the incident of the Red Fort which shocked the entire country was completely orchestrated by the agencies under the BJP ruled central government.”
He said, “Today we will prove that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the central agencies were behind the whole violence. We also believe that BJP did this whole thing to malign the images of the farmer leaders. People who hold a very good relationship with the Prime Minister and the Home Minister of our country were leading this march and instigated the violence. I want to present a picture where you can see that at one side of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi BJP MP Shree Sunny Deol is standing and on the other side Shri Deep Sidhu is present. This is a picture taken at the Prime Minister‘s residence which is a place where not any person can enter. We believe that Shri Sidhu was the person behind yesterday’s violence and also behind the shocking incident which happened at the Red Fort. We have to remember that the PM residence is a very secured place and this person was allowed inside only because he is very close to the PM. This clearly proves that yesterday’s incident was a plant by the BJP. I also want to present another picture of Shri Sidhu with Home Minister of India Shri Amit Shah. This also proves that this person concerned was very much close to the top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party.”
He said, “Yesterday the Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal condemned this whole incident in very strong words. We had said that it is unfortunate that the BJP ruled central government allowed such violence to take place at the heart of Delhi. It is also unfortunate that the BJP has been very adamant to not accept the demands of the farmers. Despite several talks, they did not roll back these anti-farmer laws. The most shameful thing is that the Delhi Police which comes under the BJP government completely failed to maintain the law and order situation of Delhi yesterday. It is also very shameful that in front of the Delhi police people like Shri Sidhu who work at the sleeper cell of the BJP infiltrated in the protest and instigated the violence. “
Shri Chadha said, “The Aam Aadmi Party believes that this violence was manufactured by the BJP to distract the attention of people from the real issue which is regarding these anti-farmer laws. The BJP wants the citizens to talk about yesterday‘s violence and not about the real issue of the farmers. This is why the Delhi police have registered FIRs against the former leaders who were not even present in the spots where the violence took place. It is shameful that the Delhi police has not taken any step against the people who disrespected our nation yesterday. The Aam Aadmi Party demands that the BJP must disclose why they are protecting Shri Sidhu who was the mastermind behind yesterday’s violence. The most important strength of the farmers’ protest was nonviolence and today it is clear that the BJP and its agencies were behind yesterday’s violence.”
He said, “I also want to tell you that BJP agent and Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh is trying to defame the Aam Aadmi Party by blaming us for yesterday’s violence. Delhi BJP chief Shri Adesh Gupta and Punjab CM Captain Singh who I believe is not the chief minister from the Congress party but the BJP are showing a picture of a person and claiming that this person is connected to the Aam Aadmi Party. BJP agent Capt Singh and Delhi BJP chief are defaming the AAP in a very planned manner. With all the responsibilities I want to make it clear that this person Shri Amrik Singh has no connection with the AAP and he is neither a member nor an office-bearer of the AAP.”
He said, “This person Amrik Singh is a member of BJP and an office-bearer. He is also involved with the SAD. This person was also the right-hand man of BJP MP Shri Sunny Deol who fought Parliament election in the support of BJP and SAD. This person is a confidante of Shri Deol. I am also presenting various pictures where you can clearly see this person with MP Shri Deol and BJP MP Shri Parvesh Verma. This person also has a lot of pictures with SAD leader and former NDA Minister Shmt Harsimrat Kaur Badal and also with BJP union minister Shri Nitin Gadkari. This person also campaigned for BJP MP Parvesh Verma. This person also has pictures with SAD leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa and BJP MP Hans Raj Hans.”
Shri Chadha said, “So it is clear that this person is not from the AAP but from the BJP and SAD. We should also understand why BJP agent Captain Singh is blaming the Aam Aadmi Party; this is because we exposed the nexus between the Punjab Chief Minister and the BJP. Captain Amarinder Singh is trying to save the BJP and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. I also believe that Captain Amarinder Singh stays present at the briefing of the BJP spokespersons. I want to ask the Prime Minister whether he believes that he has accountability towards the shameful incidents which happened yesterday or not. Today the citizens of Delhi and Punjab are asking the Prime Minister of India to disclose the nexus of BJP with the people who instigated yesterday’s violence. The citizens of Delhi and Punjab also want to know from the Prime Minister of India why he is trying to defame and malign the protest of the farmers.”
He said, “Lastly, the Aam Aadmi Party condemns the witch hunt against the farmer leaders by the Delhi Police. The Aam Aadmi Party also demands that the Delhi police should immediately arrest the people behind yesterday’s violence and not to harass the farmer leaders. The Aam Aadmi Party believes that the farmer leaders have no role in yesterday’s violence but the BJP sleeper cell people were involved with this incident.”
