Aam Aadmi Party’s Jansabha in Chandni Chowk on Wednesday evening witnessed overwhelming support from the public. Renowned Bollywood Singer Shri Mika Singh came out to support AAP candidate Sardar Punardeep Singh Sahni from and appealed to the people to vote for AAP in the MCD elections. Senior AAP Leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Shri Manish Sisodia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Raghav Chadha and local MLA Sardar Prahlad Singh Sahni were also present in the Jansabha.
Shri Manish Sisodia said that Chandni Chowk is not only the pride of Delhi but also a crucial part of Delhi’s economy – which provides employment to lakhs of citizens in Delhi. Despite this, instead of providing facilities & services to businessmen here, the BJP has only looted them. Sometimes, under the garb of licences, conversion charges and other means, BJP continued to extort traders. In the last 15 years, the BJP has only destroyed Chandni Chowk and its pride. They have filled the entire marketplace with garbage. BJP did not understand for 15 years that its job is to clean garbage, BJP just kept working, thinking that its job is to clean the pockets and it kept cleaning the pockets of common people and businessmen.
Shri Sisodia said that Shri Arvind Kejriwal redeveloped Chandni Chowk and returned it to its former glory, but even during this initiative, BJP repeatedly tried to stop the work being done. He said that if there was Kejriwal ji’s government in MCD, Chandni Chowk would have been 10 times better than where it stands today.
He said that traders only have hopes from CM Arvind Kejriwal, because he is working for the betterment of Chandni Chowk. This time, the people of Chandni Chowk are going to elect Kejriwal’s councillor in their ward and the Kejriwal Government in MCD. CM Arvind Kejriwal has built a comprehensive blue-print to beautify Chandni Chowk and its surrounding areas over 2 phases. The public had decided to elect an AAP Government in MCD as well on 7th December and after that, we will give the marketplace a new identity by beautifying the remaining areas of Chandni Chowk. Chandni Chowk is the pride of our country and we will return it to its former glory by beautifying the marketplace.
On this occasion, Shri Raghav Chadha said that the BJP is going to be wiped out of the MCD and a government that serves the common man will be formed. While being in power in the MCD, the BJP only harassed the public, looted them and destroyed the national capital by spreading garbage all over the city. However, now the Aam Aadmi Party government will liberate the people from the BJP’s failures and its garbage. चांदनी चौक में आम आदमी पार्टी द्वारा बुधवार शाम आयोजित जनसभा में जनता का भारी समर्थन देखने को मिला| यहाँ से आम आदमी पार्टी के प्रत्याशी पुनरदीप सिंह साहनी के समर्थन में आयोजित जनसभा में विख्यात पंजाबी गायक मीका सिंह उपस्थित रहे और लोगों से एमसीडी चुनावों में पुनरदीप सिंह साहनी के लिए वोट करने की अपील की| जनसभा में आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ट नेता व दिल्ली के उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया, आम आदमी पार्टी से राज्यसभा सांसद राघव चड्डा व स्थानीय विधायक प्रह्लाद सिंह साहनी भी उपस्थित रहे|
श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि चांदनी चौक न केवल दिल्ली शान है बल्कि दिल्ली की अर्थव्यवस्था का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है और लाखों लोगों को यहाँ से रोजगार मिलता है| इसके बावजूद भाजपा ने यहाँ व्यापारियों को सुविधाएँ देने के बजाय उन्हें सिर्फ और सिर्फ लूटने का काम किया| कभी लाइसेंस के नाम पर तो कभी कन्वर्शन चार्ज और अन्य तरीकों से भाजपा ने सिर्फ व्यापारियों से उगाही की| भाजपा ने पिछले 15 सालों में चांदनी चौक और उसकी शान में सिर्फ दाग लगाये| पूरे मार्किट को कूड़ा-कूड़ा किया| भाजपा को 15 सालों से ये समझ नहीं आया कि उसका काम कूड़ा साफ़ करना है भाजपा बस ये समझ कर काम करती रही कि उसका काम जेब की सफाई करना है और वो लगातार आम जनता की, व्यापारियों की जेबें साफ़ करती रही|
श्री सिसोदिया ने कहा कि अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने चांदनी चौक को रिडेवलप कर इसे इसकी पुरानी पहचान वापिस लौटाने का काम किया लेकिन उस दौरान भी BJP के लोगों ने बार-बार इसे रुकवाने का काम किया| उन्होंने कहा कि अगर एमसीडी में केजरीवाल जी की सरकार होती तो आज चांदनी चौक जितना अच्छा है उससे 10 गुणा और शानदार होता|
उन्होंने कहा कि व्यापरियों को सिर्फ अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी से ही उम्मीद है कि वही चांदनी चौक की बेहतरी के लिए काम कर सकते है इसलिए इस बार चांदनी चौक की जनता अपने वार्ड में केजरीवाल जी का पार्षद और एमसीडी में केजरीवाल जी की सरकार बनाने जा रही है| केजरीवाल जी ने पूरा ब्लू-प्रिंट बना लिया है कि अगले फेज में चांदनी चौक और उसके आस-पास के अंदर के इलाकों को कैसे संवारा जाये| जनता 7 दिसम्बर को एमसीडी में भी अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी की सरकार बनाने जा रही है और उसके बाद हम चांदनी चौक के बाकी इलाकों को भी संवार कर एक नई पहचान देंगे| ये हमारे देश की शान है और हम चांदनी चौक को संवार कर उसकी शान वापस लौटायेंगे|
इस मौके पर राघव चड्डा ने कहा कि एमसीडी से भाजपा की सत्ता जाने वाली है और आम आदमी की सरकार आने वाली है| भाजपा ने एमसीडी में रहते हुए सिर्फ आम जनता को तंग किया उन्हें लूटने का काम किया और देश की राजधानी दिल्ली को अपने कूड़े से नरक बना दिया लेकिन अब आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार जनता को भाजपा के नाकामी और कूड़े से मुक्ति दिलाएगी| जनता इस बार अपने वार्ड में केजरीवाल जी का पार्षद और एमसीडी में केजरीवाल जी की सरकार लेकर आएगी|
