Celebrating the life and legacy of Dr BR Ambedkar, Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal paid tributes to him on the occasion of his Mahaparinirvan Diwas on Tuesday. The CM took part in an event held at the Delhi Legislative Assembly to observe Babasaheb’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas. He was accompanied by Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Ram Niwas Goel, Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia and MLAs of Delhi. On the occasion all the dignitaries offered pushpanjali on the statue of Babasaheb in the premises and bowed down before him to seek his blessings. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal stated, “Taking inspiration from Babasaheb Ambedkar, we are emphasising on education through our government. Babasaheb envisioned that through good education to every citizen, we can alleviate poverty, establish equality and ensure dignity in the society.”
Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “Today on the occasion of Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Babasaheb Ambedkar, I would like to appeal to all the people to seek inspiration from the life of Dr Ambedkar. His life was full of struggles and there is a lot for us to learn from it to become better citizens of this country. During his lifetime he fought several battles for the rights of the poor and the marginalised citizens of the country. His dream was to ensure that the basic facilities are provided even to the last citizen of the country. In his battles to improve the lives of others, he gave the most importance to education. It is by taking a lead out of his books that the Aam Aadmi Party government has transformed the educational system in Delhi and we are working on doing the same in Punjab. It is by providing good quality education to each citizen of the country that the lives of our citizens can be improved. It will also go on to reduce poverty and bring equality within society. Those who are from the marginalised communities will also be given respect through this transformation. Henceforth, education is extremely important and therefore we are following the steps of Babasaheb Ambedkar to improve the lives of every citizen of this country. I would once again like to wish everyone on this pious occasion and ask them to work for the betterment of the country.”

बाबा साहब डॉ. अंबेडकर से प्रेरणा लेकर हम अपनी सरकार में सबसे ज्यादा शिक्षा पर जोर दे रहे हैं। बाबा साहब अंबेडकर का मानना था कि अगर हर व्यक्ति को अच्छी शिक्षा मिलेगी, तो गरीबी भी दूर होगी, समाज में बराबरी भी होगी और सबको इज्जत के साथ जीने का अधिकार मिलेगा। दिल्ली विधानसभा परिसर में बाबा साहब के महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने यह बातें कहीं। इस अवसर पर सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने बाबा साहब की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उनको नमन किया। इस दौरान स्पीकर राम निवास गोयल व उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया समेत विधायकों ने भी पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर बाबा साहब को कोटि-कोटि नमन किया। वही, डिप्टी सीएम मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि बाबा साहब ने समाज के हर तबके व वंचित लोगों को उनके अधिकार और सामाजिक न्याय दिलाने के लिए अपना पूरा जीवन समर्पित किया। उनके विचार व आदर्श सदैव देशवासियों को प्रेरित करेंगे।भारत रत्न बाबा साहब डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर जी के महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस के अवसर पर दिल्ली विधानसभा परिसर में एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया, जहां मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने उनकी प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उनको नमन किया।
इस अवसर पर दिल्ली विधासभा के स्पीकर राम निवास गोयल और उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया समेत विधायक आदि गणमान्य लोगों ने बाबा साहब की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर उनको कोटि कोटि नमन किया। मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय ने एक ट्वीट कर कहा, “भारत रत्न बाबा साहब डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर जी के महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस के अवसर पर दिल्ली विधानसभा परिसर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने बाबा साहब जी की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर नमन किया।
“इस अवसर पर सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि बाबा साहब डॉ. अंबेडकर के महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस के अवसर पर मैं सभी लोगों से अपील करना चाहता हूं कि हमें बाबा साहब अंबेडकर के जीवन से प्रेरणा लेनी है। उनका पूरा जीवन संघर्ष से भरा हुआ है। बाबा साहब ने पूरा जीवन गरीबों, दलितों और पिछड़े लोगों के लिए बहुत संघर्ष किया। उनका सपना था कि इस देश के अंदर जो आखरी आदमी है, उस तक सभी सुविधाएं पहुंचनी चाहिए। उन्होंने सबसे ज्यादा जोर शिक्षा पर दिया। उन्हीं से प्रेरणा लेकर आज हम अपनी सरकार में सबसे ज्यादा शिक्षा पर जोर दे रहे हैं। बाबा साहब अंबेडकर का मानना था कि अगर हर व्यक्ति को अच्छी शिक्षा मिलेगी, तो गरीबी भी दूर होगी, समाज में बराबरी भी होगी और सब लोगों को इज्जत के साथ जीने का अधिकार मिलेगा। शिक्षा बहुत जरूरी है। हम लोग भी बाबा साहब के बताए उसी रास्ते पर चल रहे हैं। इस अवसर पर मैं उन्हें कोटि-कोटि प्रणाम करता हूं।सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट कर कहा, समाज के हर ग़रीब, शोषित एवं वंचित वर्ग के अधिकारों एवं न्याय की लड़ाई लड़ने वाले भारत रत्न बाबा साहब डॉक्टर भीमराव अम्बेडकर जी के महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस पर उन्हें श्रद्धापूर्वक नमन।”वहीं डिप्टी सीएम मनीष सिसोदिया ने ट्वीट कर कहा, “भारतीय संविधान के शिल्पकार भारतरत्न बाबा साहब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर जी के महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस पर शत शत नमन। बाबा साहब ने समाज में हर तबके व वंचित लोगों को उनके अधिकार और सामाजिक न्याय दिलाने के लिए अपना पूरा जीवन समर्पित किया। उनके विचार व आदर्श सदैव देशवासियों को प्रेरित करेंगे।”
