The Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai on Thursday held a Sankalp Sabha under the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign in Malviya Nagar Assembly of New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. A large number of people were present in the meeting organized from here in support of the INDIA alliance candidate from New Delhi Shri Somnath Bharti. Shri Gopal Rai administered oath to all the people to ‘answer the jail by voting’. He said the results of the elections will come on June 4 and that day, good days will come for the people of the country and Modi will be gone, he will be out of power.
Shri Gopal Rai said by putting Shri Arvind Kejriwal in jail in a fake case, the BJP itself has ensured its defeat in Delhi. The people of Delhi have elected Shri Arvind Kejriwal as the Chief Minister. After his arrest, the people of Delhi themselves are contesting the elections and will answer the jail policy of the BJP by voting against them. Today, the whole country is saying that the dictatorship of the BJP has surpassed all limits. Therefore, there is a wave to defeat the BJP in the entire country. During this, Shri Somnath Bharti and other senior leaders were also in attendance.
Shri Gopal Rai said that the entire country is waiting for June 4. Counting of votes is going to take place on June 4. Three phases of elections have already been concluded in the country. The news that is coming from all over the country is that the whole country is saying that good days are about to come, and Narendra Modi is going to be removed from power after these Lok Sabha elections. Just as a parrot in a cage is taught to say ‘Ram-Ram’, it only answers ‘Ram-Ram’ to everyone’s words, no matter what the other person is saying, the parrot’s response remains the same. This time, the BJP has not taught its parrots in the entire country to say ‘Ram-Ram’, but from their National President to the village president, they have taught everyone to say ‘Abki Baar 400 Paar’, no matter what people say or ask.
“The youth of the country are roaming on the streets with their degrees, what happened to Shri Modi’s promise of 2 crore jobs? Why is inflation increasing in the country? Why were women tortured in Manipur? Why were the barriers laid for the farmers who provide food to the country? Ask them anything, this time their Rattu Tota (parrot) does not say Ram-Ram, this time it is saying ‘400 Paar’. The people of this country have been waiting for 10 years. On one hand, the BJP leaders are raising the slogan of crossing 400 this time, while on the other hand, the people of the country are raising the slogan of BJP’s defeat, they are saying ‘Ab Ki Baar BJP ki Haar,” he stated.
He said that voting has taken place on more than half the seats in the country. News is coming from all over the country that the BJP is losing in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra. There are indications of the BJP’s defeat from across the country. The more the news of defeat comes, the more the BJP people are saying anything out of frustration. They are unable to understand what to do. This country tolerates everything but when all the limits are crossed, the country stands up. Our ancestors, with the help of their movement, even drove the Britishers out of the country. The BJP is moving ahead solely on the strength of dictatorship. Today, there is a wave to defeat the BJP in the entire country.
Shri Gopal Rai said that the people of New Delhi Lok Sabha made a BJP MP for 10 years, that MP even became a Union Minister. But the BJP MP did nothing for the people of Delhi for 10 years. Therefore, this time the people of New Delhi have also decided that instead of a useless MP, this time they want an MP who works like the MLA of Malviya Nagar. That’s why entire New Delhi is standing with Shri Somnath Bharti and the BJP is certainly losing from here. Shri Somnath Bharti is winning from New Delhi. Many people ask that last time the difference was so much, then how will Shri Somnath Bharti win this time. Even though the difference was more last time, the BJP’s ineffectiveness has also increased in the last 10 years. Now, New Delhi needs an MP who works instead of being ineffective. The BJP won in the last 10 years because in the last two elections, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party contested separately due to which votes were divided and the BJP benefited. This time, the first guarantee of Shri Somnath Bharti’s victory is his work, and the second guarantee is to contest elections on behalf of the INDIA alliance. This time not a single vote will be divided.
Shri Gopal Rai said the third guarantee of victory was given by the BJP on a platter by putting Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal in jail. Shri Arvind Kejriwal is not just a person, he is the sitting Chief Minister of Delhi, elected thrice by lakhs of people. Shri Arvind Kejriwal is the one who provides 24 hours free electricity in Delhi and never allows darkness. Just as the sun gives light, he has spread light 24 hours a day in every house of rich and poor in Delhi. They have put such a CM in jail, they do not allow him to meet his wife and children in jail. Insulin was not given to a diabetic patient. He was provided the injection after getting permission from the court. The country will not tolerate what the dictatorial BJP government is trying to do. This election is not about making a Prime Minister, Minister and MP, but an election to save the Constitution and democracy of this country.
If you make a mistake on 25th May, if the BJP accidentally crosses 400 seats after the results are declared on 4th June, then there will be no re-election in this country. Shri Modi has already shown its trailer in Surat, Gujarat. No one could vote there, and the MP was elected without elections. There is a conspiracy going on to change the Constitution of India. We did not get this Constitution and democracy by begging. Millions of martyrs have sacrificed for this. We must stand up against this dictatorship and fight to end dictatorship in the country and save the country. If you do not stand up today, you would not get another chance to fight. We must forget our difference and fight to save the Constitution and the country and fulfil our responsibilities.
