The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday exposed how the BJP is attempting to poach AAP Councillors. AAP Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh along with newly elected councillors unearthed the BJP conspiracy talking about the offers and threats being sent by BJP leaders. Shri Sanjay Singh said, “BJP has started threatening and luring AAP councillors in Delhi; these are elected councillors of AAP, it is impossible to buy them. BJP is shamelessly making claims of putting its Mayor in MCD despite falling short from majority by 30 seats. I demand the Police Commissioner of Delhi to arrest those who are involved in trading Councillors through money and threats. Does the Election Commissioner have no responsibility in this matter?”
Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh said, “BJP has infamously become Bhartiya Khokha Party across the country because of its misdeeds. Despite getting 30 seats less than AAP in MCD elections and losing 80 seats as compared to previous elections, BJP has resorted to its dirty tactics. They used the tactics of trading MLAs in Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa. Now, they have adopted the same formula in Delhi. They are offering gratification to MCD councillors and even threatening them. I have been saying this from day one that the BJP is such a shameless party that despite having 30 seats less than majority that Mayor will be from their party.”
He continued, “But these are elected councillors from the Aam Aadmi Party. They are standing with Shri Arvind Kejriwal with utmost honesty and integrity. Our councillors will keep on exposing their dirty tactics time and again. I demand from the Police Commissioner of Delhi that these people should be arrested and sent behind the bars. They have started trying to throttle democracy, trading councillors and disrespect the mandate of the people through gratification and threat in Delhi.”
He added, “A person named Yogesh called Ward No. 88 Councillor Dr Runakshi Sharma and said that the BJP State President Adesh Gupta wants to talk to her. Adesh Gupta and BJP leaders mentioned about a budget of Rs 100 crore to trade councillors. This budget is only for 10 councillors which means that Bhartiya Khokha Party has allotted Rs 10 crores for every councillor.”
Shri Sanjay Singh said, “Is there any significance of democracy, elections and mandate of people in this country? Or the BJP has complete freedom to trade MLAs in one state after the other to topple the government? Do you have complete freedom to shamelessly put their Mayor in MCD despite getting 30 seats less than the majority? Will Delhi Police remain asleep on this matter or wake up to take action against them? This matter involves BJP State President Adesh Gupta himself. I demand that all the people involved in this matter should be arrested and sent to prison. The dirty tactics of Bhartiya Khokha Party should be stopped.”
He concluded, “The Election Commission should intervene in this matter because they conduct elections. People from different parties get elected and does not the Election Commission have any responsibility to see that they are not threatened or lured to topple the government? The Government of India is currently being run by BJP and they will work as per their wishes. BJP has become a kidnapping gang of MLAs and councillors and they will work accordingly. But will the Election Commission take cognizance of this or else what is the point of conducting elections or having elected representatives from different parties?”
Shri Pintu Sharma, father of Ward No. 88 Councillor Dr Runakshi Sharma said, “We received a call the day before yesterday in the evening from Yogesh Chandriya. Ward No. 88 Patel Nagar was Adesh Gupta’s constituency and my daughter defeated him in the elections. He said that he wanted to get 10 councillors and asked me to do it anyhow. I asked how is this possible? He said they can give Rs 2 crore to each councillor. I said it is too less. They pushed their bid to Rs 10 crore and asked me to get as many councillors as possible. I said to him that you have made a call at the wrong place. We are Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s soldiers. You cannot buy us with money. Then I cut the phone call.”
Ward No. 166 Pushp Vihar Councillor Shri Arun Navariya said, “When I contested elections, there were a lot of supporters who helped me. They were threatened and they could not stand with me in the open. Then college students and teachers came to my aid. Whosoever stood by my side, these people called them and went to their homes to threaten them. Still, they stood rocksolid in my support. Our supporters were putting AAP’s banners in the streets and these people hurled abuses at them. They did not respond to it and said to me they cannot fight the goons but they will support me internally. I asked them for their support with folded hands.”
He added, “Now since I have won the election on AAP’s ticket with a margin of 3607 votes, the incumbent councillor and his wife, who also was a councillor from BJP, are threatening those people, who worked for us, of dire consequences. Moreover, they are saying that they will murder me before I take oath. They have not threatened me directly but have conveyed this to the teachers who supported me. Those people showed concern regarding my safety and asked me to be watchful. I am unable to understand the state of affairs of politics in the country.”
Shri Subhash Chandra, husband of Ward No. 207 Vishwas Nagar councillor Smt Jyoti Rani said, “Yesterday, a person approached me for a “secret talk” wherein he offered Rs 50 lakhs on behalf of the BJP for cross-voting in MCD elections. I said that you have gone the wrong way and you cannot buy us. He said that we can conveniently vote for any other party and no one can figure that out. He gave me time till tomorrow and said that they can pay more money if we want more. I am here to expose them.”

‘आप’ सांसद संजय सिंह ने कहा कि भाजपा ने दिल्ली में ‘आप’ के पार्षदों को धमकी और प्रलोभन से खरीदने की कोशिश शुरू कर दी है। 30 सीटें कम आने के बावजूद भाजपा बेशर्मी पर उतरकर खुलकर अपना मेयर बनाने की बाते कर रही है। ये ‘आप’ के चुने हुए पार्षद हैं, बिकने वाले नहीं हैं। मेरी दिल्ली के पुलिस कमिश्नर से मांग है कि उन सभी की गिरफ्तारी की जाए जो पैसे और धमकी के जरिए पार्षदों की खरीद-फरोख्त का प्रयास शुरू कर चुके हैं। क्या इसमें चुनाव आयोग की कोई जिम्मेदारी नहीं बनती है? क्या उन्हें इसमें हस्तक्षेप नहीं करना चाहिए?
प्रेसवार्ता में मौजूद वॉर्ड 88 की पार्षद डॉ. रुनाक्षी शर्मा के पिता पिंटू शर्मा ने बताया कि योगेश चंदरिया जी ने फोन कर कहा कि आदेश गुप्ता जी आपसे बात करेंगे। आदेश गुप्ता जी ने कहा कि आपको कैसे भी करके 10 पार्षद इकट्ठा करना है, 10 करोड़ प्रति पार्षद का बजट है। वॉर्ड 166 के पार्षद अरुण नावरिया ने कहा कि चुनाव के दौरान मेरा सहयोग करने वालों को धमकाया जा रहा है। उनसे मुझे जान से मारने की बात भी कही गई जिसके बाद मेरे साथियों ने मुझे आगाह किया। वॉर्ड 207 की पार्षद ज्योति रानी के पति सुभाष चंद्र ने कहा कि मेरे एक दोस्त ने कहा कि तुम्हारे लिए एक ऑफर आया है। तुम्हें क्रॉस वोटिंग करनी है जिसके लिए 50 लाख मिलेंगे। क्रॉस वोटिंग से किसी को पता नहीं चलेगा कि किसने किसे वोट किया है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह ने शनिवार को पार्टी मुख्यालय में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रेसवार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी पूरे देश में भारतीय खोखा पार्टी के नाम से मशहूर है। आज उसके कारनामों को लेकर बात करेंगे। दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी से 30 सीटें कम आने के बावजूद, पिछले चुनाव के मुकाबले 80 सीटें हारने के बावजूद भाजपा अपने गंदे खेल पर उतर आइ है। विधायकों की खरीद-फरोख्त का जो कारनामा उन्होंने महाराष्ट्र में, अरुणाचल में, उत्तराखंड में, मध्यप्रदेश में, कर्नाटक में, गोवा में, गुजरात में किया, वही खरीद-फरोख्त का फॉर्मूला, खोखा-खोखा का फार्मूला उन्होंने दिल्ली में शुरू कर दिया है। एमसीडी के पार्षदों को धमकाने का काम शुरू कर दिया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि मैं तो पहले दिन से कह रहा हूं कि भाजपा इतनी बेशर्म पार्टी है कि 30 सीटें कम होने के बावजूद कह रही है कि मेयर उनका होगा। लेकिन यह आम आदमी पार्टी के चुने हुए पार्षद हैं, पूरी निष्ठा और ईमानदारी के साथ अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्व में उनके साथ खड़े हैं। इनके इस तरह के तमाम कारनामों को हमारे पार्षद समय-समय पर उजागर करते रहेंगे। मैं दिल्ली के पुलिस कमिश्नर से मांग करूंगा की तमाम लोगों की गिरफ्तारी की जाए। उन्हें जेल में डाला जाए जो लोकतंत्र की हत्या करने का, पार्षदों की खरीद-फरोख्त करने का, जनादेश का अपमान करने का प्रयास पैसे और धमकी के माध्यम से दिल्ली में शुरू कर चुके हैं।
आप सांसद ने कहा कि हमारे बीच डॉक्टर रुनाक्षी शर्मा जी हैं जो 88 वार्ड से पार्षद हैं। हमारे बीच अरुण नावरिया जी हैं जो 166 वार्ड से पार्षद हैं। ज्योति रानी जी हैं जो 207 वार्ड से पार्षद हैं। यह लोग अपनी-अपनी कहानी बताएंगे कि किस तरीके से इनको अप्रोच किया गया, इनको धमकाया गया। एक योगेंद्र नाम का व्यक्ति शर्मा जी को फोन करता है और कहता है कि भाजपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष आदेश गुप्ता जी बात करेंगे आदेश गुप्ता जी और भाजपा के लोग बाकायदा 100 करोड़ के बजट का जिक्र कर रहे हैं। कह रहे हैं कि एमसीडी में खरीद-फरोख्त करने के लिए 100 करोड़ का बजट है। उन्होंने एक पार्षद को खरीदने के लिए भाजपा ने 10 खोखा निर्धारित किया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि क्या भाजपा को खुली छूट है कि वह राज्य दर राज्य विधायकों को खरीदकर सरकार गिराकर अपनी सरकार बना ले? क्या भाजपा को खुली छूट है कि 30 सीटें कम होने के बावजूद बेशर्मी पर उतारू होकर दिल्ली में अपना मेयर बनाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं? क्या दिल्ली का पुलिस प्रशासन, दिल्ली की कानून व्यवस्था सोई रहेगी या कुंभकरण की नींद से जागेगी और इनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई होगी। इसमें बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष आदेश गुप्ता का नाम आ रहा है। मैं मांग करता हूं कि ऐसे तमाम लोगों को गिरफ्तार करके इनको जेल में डाला जाए और दिल्ली में यह घिनौना खेल बंद किया जाए।
मैं तो कहता हूं कि भारत के चुनाव आयुक्त को भी इसमें हस्तक्षेप करना चाहिए। क्या इसमें चुनाव आयोग की कोई जिम्मेदारी नहीं बनती है? भारत की सरकार तो मान लीजिए कि भाजपा की है। वह तो अपने हिसाब से काम करेंगे। उन्हें यही धंधा करना है। वह एक किडनैपिंग गैंग बन चुकी है। लेकिन क्या भारत का चुनाव आयोग इस पर ध्यान देगा? वरना चुनाव का क्या मतलब रह जाएगा और जो अलग-अलग दलों से जीतते हैं, उसका क्या मतलब रह जाएगा।
प्रेस वार्ता में मौजूद वार्ड 88 से आप पार्षद रुनाक्षी शर्मा के पिता पिंटू शर्मा ने कहा कि पहले यह सीट आदेश गुप्ता की थी, जिन्हें मेरी बेटी ने 3800 वोटों से हराया है। सुभाष जी के पास योगेश चंदेरिया जी का फोन आया कि मुझे पिंटू शर्मा से बात करनी है। उन्होंने मुझसे कहा कि आदेश गुप्ता जी आपसे बात करेंगे। जिसके बाद आदेश गुप्ता जी ने मुझसे कहा कि हमें 10 पार्षदों को इकट्ठा करना है। आप किसी भी तरीके से हमारे साथ लगकर इकट्ठा कराओ। मैंने कहा यह कैसे संभव है। उन्होंने कहा कि दो-दो करोड़ का बजट है। मैंने कहा कि यह तो बहुत कम है तो उन्होंने कहा कि 3 करोड़ कर देते हैं। बार-बार बात करने के बाद आखिर में उन्होंने कहा कि सभी का दस-दस करोड़ कर देते हैं। इसके बाद मैंने कहा कि आदेश गुप्ता जी आपने गलत जगह फोन किया है। हम अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के सिपाही हैं, पैसों से बिकने वाले नहीं हैं। यह कहकर मैंने फोन काट दिया।
प्रेसवार्ता में मौजूद वार्ड 106 से आप पार्षद अरुण नावरिया ने कहा कि इस चुनाव के दौरान जो साथी मेरा सहयोग कर रहे थे उन्हें धमकाया जा रहा है। उन्हें कहा जा रहा है कि संभल के रहना तुम्हें छोड़ा नहीं जाएगा। मेरे लिए स्पष्ट रूप से कहा जा रहा है कि शपथ लेने से पहले इसको जान से मार देंगे। यह बात सीधा-सीधा मुझे नहीं बोली गई है। यह मेरे साथियों से बोली गई। मेरे साथियों ने मुझे आगाह किया कि संभल के रहना, तुम्हारे खिलाफ गलत चीजें बोली जा रही हैं। हम नहीं चाहते हैं कि तुम पर हमला हो।
प्रेस वार्ता में मौजूद वार्ड 207 से आप पार्षद ज्योति रानी के पति सुभाष चंद्र ने कहा कि कल रात मेरा एक दोस्त मुझसे मिलने आया। उसने मुझे कहा कि मेरे पास बीजेपी की तरफ से तुम्हारे लिए एक ऑफर आया है। तुम्हें क्रॉस वोटिंग करनी है जिसके लिए 50 लाख मिलेंगे। मैंने साफ कह दिया कि हम बिकने वाले नहीं हैं। उसने कहा कि तुम देख लो सदन में क्रॉस वोटिंग में पता नहीं चलता है कि किसने किसको वोट किया है। सोचकर कल तक बता दो। अगर तुम्हारी मांग ज्यादा है तो वह भी बता देना। ऐसा सुनते ही मैंने कल रात को अपनी पार्टी को पूरी बात बताई।
