The Aam Aadmi Party challenged the BJP to show even a single video where any AAP councillor could be seen creating ruckus inside the House. The challenge came in the context of BJP’s organised hooliganism that caused the MCD House to be adjourned before the Mayor elections. AAP Senior Leader and MLA Ms Atishi said, “We showed you 5 videos in which it was clearly shown that AAP councillors sat peacefully despite BJP’s misbehaviour. BJP councillors had come with full preparation to adjourn the proceedings of the House at any cost. The Aam Aadmi Party wanted to hold the mayor’s election yesterday, but the BJP wanted that the mayor’s election should not be held under any circumstances. In the MCD house yesterday, BJP got the house adjourned by hooliganism and stopped the election of the mayor. The presiding officer also ran away after adjourning the house because she knew that Aam Aadmi Party would win the mayor elections.”
Ms Atishi said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party had ruled the MCD in Delhi for the last 15 years. The people of Delhi have been sick of BJP’s misgovernance and corruption and they had made up their mind that they have to throw BJP out in the elections. BJP was also aware that the people of Delhi are fed up with them and this is exactly why the BJP tried to change its defeat by postponing the elections which were to be held in April last year by hook or by crook. To postpone the April elections, the Centre indefinitely postponed the elections by unifying the three erstwhile MCDs, then they completed the delimitation to their advantage and postponed elections so that it is held at the same time as the Gujarat state elections. But despite these attempts, the people of Delhi threw the BJP out of the MCD. But the BJP is still not at peace because the BJP does not respect our democracy. It is not ready to participate as the opposition even after losing the elections. It has been more than 50 days since the election results were announced but till now the BJP has not allowed the election of the Mayor to be held in the MCD.”
She continued, “The way the BJP stopped the election for the post of Delhi Mayor again yesterday and got the House adjourned through their hooliganism, was a slap on India’s democracy. It was a slap in the face because the BJP is essentially saying that if they do not come to power after winning an election fairly, then they will not allow the winning party to form the government. I’ll walk you through what happened in the house yesterday. We need to reiterate how it was clear that the Aam Aadmi Party had every intention that the mayor’s election should be held, but the BJP wanted from the beginning that the election should be postponed in one way or another.”
Recounting yesterday’s events in the house minute-by-minute, she said, “The House was scheduled to start at 11 AM. By 10:45 AM, all the councillors and MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party were present in the House to ensure that there was no reason for the delay in the election of Delhi’s mayor. It was past 11 AM but the BJP’s councillors had not turned up. The BJP councillors began to enter at 11.10 a.m., and the Presiding Officer and BJP councillor Ms Satya Sharma arrived five minutes later. Ms Satya Sharma was well aware that the last time there was a dispute over the swearing-in of nominated councillors. If she wanted the House to function properly, she could have stated that the elected councillors would be sworn in first, followed by the nominated councillors. But to further the controversy so that the proceedings of the House get disrupted, she again said that she will get the nominated councillors sworn in first.”
Atishi continued, “Sh. Mukesh Goyal, our leader of the house, stood up and objected that the agenda list states that first the elected councillors, and then the nominated councillors, will take the oath. BJP’s Ms Satya Sharma insisted that she will get the nominated councillors sworn in first. Despite our earlier objection, all the councillors, MLAs and MPs of the Aam Aadmi Party allowed the nominated councillors to be sworn in first. So, we raised our objection, got it on the record but we allowed the nominated councillors to take oath first because we wanted the election of the mayor to be conducted so that Delhi can get its government in the MCD.”
She continued, “The oath of nominated councillors ended by 11.30 AM, and the oath of elected councillors started. The elected councillors’ oath of office lasted until 2:20 PM. At 2:20 PM, as soon as the Presiding Officer announced a 15-minute adjournment to prepare for the next elections, the BJP councillors started creating a ruckus. We have all the videos that show how they were creating the ruckus.”
Showing a photograph, she said, “We all must see in this photograph how the BJP councillors climbed on top of the table and started creating a ruckus but Aam Aadmi Party councillors did not leave their seats. You can see that in the Aam Aadmi Party, Shri Sanjay Singh, Shri Durgesh Pathak and I are asking all our councillors not to be provoked and to remain seated. As soon as the 15-minute adjournment was announced and the election table was set, the BJP councillors disrupted it in this manner.”
She added, “When Ms Satya Sharma came back, Sh. Mukesh Goyal, our leader of the House, requested that the electoral roll listing the voters in the elections be presented before the House. This is because we had our apprehensions that the votes could be cast in an unconstitutional and illegal manner by the nominated councillors. As soon as Sh. Mukesh Goyal requested the electoral roll, and BJP started its ruckus and raised a hue and cry over the same. Ms Satya Sharma then adjourned the house again without giving us the electoral roll.”
She said, “Our councillors sitting in the House made some videos. In which it can be clearly seen what actually happened in the house. After which the House was adjourned. It is also visible in the video that all the councillors and MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party are sitting at their places. Not a single person has stood up. Mahendra Goyal was standing on the side. All the Councillors present in the well belong to BJP. Slogans can be seen being raised against CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Shri Manish Sisodia. BJP people had already typed and printed the papers written with slogans on which issue they would create ruckus. It is clearly visible in another video that there are only and only BJP councillors in the well. MLAs, councillors, MPs of Aam Aadmi Party were sitting peacefully on their chairs. BJP councillors are standing and shouting on all three sides of Aam Aadmi Party councillors. BJP people were shouting right in front of senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party like MPs Sanjay Singh ji, Sushil Gupta ji, ND Gupta ji. But still Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, councillors, MPs were sitting on their chairs peacefully. In the third video also, BJP councillors are standing on both sides and raising slogans. The councillors of Aam Aadmi Party are not even leaving their chairs. They are all sitting on their chairs. No one is reacting or responding. The BJP councillors kept standing in the well for 10-15 minutes raising slogans, and abusing. Their placard is saying let the oath go on, let us take the oath. But by then the oath had already been taken. This means that the BJP people had come prepared for various uproar. They had thought of adjourning the House one way or the other. That’s why they deliberately made the first nominated councillors take oath.”
Ms Atishi said, “I showed you 5 such videos where it is clearly visible that the BJP councillors came prepared for the ruckus. Wherein the councillors of the AAP kept sitting quietly. Because we wanted the mayor’s election to be held so Delhi gets a mayor soon. Satya Sharma herself did not sit in her office before adjourning the House at 2:54, citing hooliganism by her councillors. She stood outside the house with BJP’s people. Harish Khurana ji kept telling her things by writing them on paper. She adjourned the house sine die at 2:54, citing hooliganism by her own councillors. You can see that it is clear from the events of 10.45 to 2:55 in the morning that the Aam Aadmi Party wanted the election of the mayor and the BJP did not want to allow the election of the mayor under any circumstances.”
She concluded, “Today, I want to challenge the BJP through the media. Their leaders, MPs, MLAs, councillors are lying that the Aam Aadmi Party has indulged in indecency, hooliganism and sloganeering. BJP has 105 councillors, 7 MPs and 10 nominated councillors in the BJP house. I challenge them all to show a single video in which any councillor, MLA or MP of Aam Aadmi Party has committed hooliganism, indecency. If they are accusing the Aam Aadmi Party, then put any video of it in front of the public, otherwise they should accept that they want to murder democracy. Accept that despite losing the elections through hooliganism, you are not ready to sit in the opposition and are disrupting the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party’s mayor and government.”
AAP’s Leader of the House in MCD Shri Mukesh Goyal said, “We want the mayor’s election to be held immediately. We have a majority of 151 votes from MPs, MLAs, and councillors, while the BJP has 113 votes. However, the BJP’s actions have been unconstitutional, as seen in their influence on officer voting and decisions made by the presiding officer. We protested these actions and eventually swore in all members, despite the BJP’s attempts to cause chaos during the oath. We requested a list of eligible voters for the mayor’s election, but the presiding officer adjourned the meeting without providing it. This is a violation of the constitution and the MCD Act, as the High Court has ruled that nominated members do not have the right to vote. Despite these rulings, the BJP continues to try to gain an advantage. Despite these efforts, even if they include 10 additional members, their total would still be 123, compared to our 151. Our councillors, MLAs, and MPs stayed in the house until 8 pm in the hope that the presiding officer would reconvene and elect the mayor.”
He concluded, “Senior AAP leader Durgesh Pathak conducted a parade of every AAP councillor, MLA, and MP to prove that all 151 members were present in the House. However, the BJP was afraid of losing, as they had spread rumours that the AAP was losing councillors. They knew that they would face defeat, and were unable to accept it. The BJP has been in control of MCD for 15 years, but if the people of Delhi have elected the AAP, why is the BJP refusing to accept the decision? Instead, they are trying to gain power through dishonest means. In a democracy, both sides have the right to express their opinions. The election for mayor should have taken place yesterday, but it did not happen, which is a great shame. The BJP members shouted offensive slogans against Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia, but all AAP leaders remained peaceful because they wanted the election for mayor to be held and the mandate of the people of Delhi to be respected. It has been 50 days since the MCD elections were held, but the election for mayor has not yet taken place. If the BJP had the majority, they would not be avoiding it. The presiding officer also ran away after adjourning the house because she knew that if all 151 members of the AAP were present, they would elect their mayor. This is the reason for all the drama that has occurred.”

आम आदमी पार्टी की वरिष्ठ नेता आतिशी और ‘आप’ के लीडर ऑफ द हाउस मुकेश गोयल ने पार्टी मुख्यालय में आज महत्वपूर्ण प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित किया। विधायक आतिशी ने कहा कि दिल्ली नगर निगम पिछले 15 साल में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार है। दिल्ली की जनता बीजेपी के भ्रष्टाचार व कुशासन से परेशान हो गई थी। दिल्ली की जनता ने एमसीडी में बीजेपी को निकालकर बाहर फैंकने का मन बना लिया। बीजेपी को पता था कि दिल्ली की जनता उनसे परेशान है तो अप्रैल में होने वाले चुनाव को टालकर साम दाम दंड भेद से अपनी हार को बदलने की कोशिश की। एमसीडी का अप्रैल में चुनाव न हो इसलिए तीनों एमसीडी का एकीकरण किया। गुजरात के चुनाव के समय ही एमसीडी का चुनाव करवाया। इन सब कोशिशों के बावजूद बीजेपी को दिल्ली की जनता ने एमसीडी से निकालकर बाहर फैंक दिया। इसके बावजूद बीजेपी को चैन नहीं हैं। बीजेपी लोकतंत्र का सम्मान नहीं करती है और चुनाव हारने के बाद भी विपक्ष में बैठने को तैयार नहीं है। चुनाव के नतीजे आए 50 दिनों से ज्यादा हो गए हैं लेकिन अभी तक बीजेपी ने एमसीडी में मेयर का चुनाव नहीं होने दिया। एमसीडी के सदन में कल बीजेपी ने गुंडागर्दी करके सदन को स्थगित किया और मेयर के चुनाव को रोका। यह भारत के लोकतंत्र पर एक तमाचा था। बीजेपी कह रही है कि अगर हम जीत कर नहीं आते है तो हम सदन में गुंडागर्दी करेंगे। हम जीती हुई पार्टी की सरकार नहीं बनने देंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी झूठ बोल रही है कि आम आदमी पार्टी ने चुनाव नहीं होने दिया। मैं आज आपको स्टेप बाई स्टेप बताऊंगी की कल सदन में क्या हुआ। आम आदमी पार्टी की इच्छा थी कि मेयर का चुनाव हो और बीजेपी शुरू से किसी न किसी तरीके से चुनाव टालना चाहती थी। एमसीडी सदन के कल 11 बजे शुरू होने का समय था। आम आदमी पार्टी के सारे पार्षद, विधायक और सांसद 10 बजकर 45 मिनट पर सदन में मौजूद थे कि किसी भी कारणवश मेयर के चुनाव में विलंब नहीं होना चाहिए। बीजेपी के पार्षद 11 बजे का समय गुजरने के बाद भी नहीं आए। भाजपा के पार्षदों ने 11:10 पर सदन में एंट्री की। बीजेपी की पार्षद सत्या शर्मा इसके 5 मिनट बाद आयी। उन्हें पता था कि पिछली बार नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स को पहले शपथ दिलाने पर विवाद हुआ था। उनका इरादा होता कि सदन ठीक से चले तो वह खुद कह सकती थीं कि हम इलेक्टेड पार्षदों की शपथ पहले करवाएंगे और नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की बाद में कराएंगे। विवाद को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए उन्होंने फिर से कहा कि मैं नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की शपथ पहले कराऊंगी। हमारे लीडर ऑफ द हाउस मुकेश गोयल ने खड़े होकर आपत्ति जताई। उन्होंने कहा कि आपके अपने एजेंडा में पहले इलेक्टेड पार्षदों की शपथ और फिर नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की शपथ के बारे में लिखा है। बीजेपी की सत्या शर्मा जी ने कहा कि वह नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की शपथ पहले कराएंगी।
विधायक आतिशी ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षदों और सांसदों ने अपनी आपत्ति के बावजूद नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की शपथ पहले होने दी। लेकिन हमने आपत्ति जताई, रिकॉर्ड करवाई। क्योंकि हम मेयर के चुनाव को नहीं रोकना चाहते थे। इसलिए हमने नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की भी शपथ पहले होने दी। नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की शपथ 11:30 तक खत्म हुई। इसके बाद चुने गए पार्षदों की शपथ 11:30 बजे शुरू हुई जो कि 2:20 तक चली। इसके बाद प्रिसाइडिंग ऑफिसर ने 2:20 पर जैसे ही सदन स्थगित करते हुए कहा कि हम चुनाव की तैयारी कर रहे हैं। वैसे ही बीजेपी के पार्षदों ने हंगामा शुरू कर दिया। इन फोटो में आप देख सकते हैं कि बीजेपी के पार्षद टेबल पर चढ़कर हंगामेबाजी करने लगे। लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षदों ने अपनी कुर्सी नहीं छोड़ी। आप देख सकते हैं कि मैं स्वयं, दुर्गेश पाठक और संजय सिंह सभी को कह रहे हैं कि प्रवोक मत हो, बैठ जाईए। सदन जैसे ही स्थगित हुआ औऱ चुनाव की टेबल लगनी शुरू हुई। बीजेपी के नेताओं ने हंगामा शुरू कर दिया। सत्या शर्मा वापिस आई। हमारे लीडर ऑफ द हाउस मुकेश गोयल ने कहा कि मेयर के चुनाव में कौन-कौन वोट डालेगा। उसके इलेक्टोरल रोल को सदन में प्रस्तुत किया जाए। क्योंकि हमें आशंका थी कि असवैधानिक तरीके से नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स से वोट डलवाया जाएगा। जैसे ही मुकेश गोयल जी ने यह मांग कि तो फिर से बीजेपी ने हंगामा शुरू कर दिया। सत्या शर्मा ने हमें इलेक्टोरल रोल दिए बिना फिर से सदन को स्थगित कर दिया। सदन में बैठे हमारे काउंसलर्स ने कुछ वीडियो बनाए। जिसमें स्पष्ट तौर से देखा जा सकता है कि वास्तव में सदन में क्या हुआ। जिसके बाद सदन को स्थगित कर दिया गया।
उन्होंने कहा कि वीडियो में भी दिख रहा है कि आम आदमी पार्टी के सारे पार्षद और विधायक अपनी जगह पर बैठे हुए हैं। एक भी व्यक्ति खड़ा नहीं हुआ है। महेंद्र गोयल साइड में खड़े थे। वैल में मौजूद सारे पार्षद बीजेपी के हैं। सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल व मनीष सिसोदिया के खिलाफ नारे लगा रहे है। ऐसा नहीं है कि सदन में हंगामा हुआ और बीजेपी वालों ने तभी कुछ कागज पर लिखा। वह पहले से ही टाइप व प्रिंट करके नारे लिखे हुए कागज लाए थे कि किस मुद्दे पर हंगामा करेंगे। उसके अनुसार वो अलग-अलग चीजें पहले से प्लान व प्रिंट करके लाए थे। एक अन्य वीडियो में साफ दिखाई दे रहा है कि वैल में सिर्फ और सिर्फ बीजेपी के पार्षद है। आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायक, पार्षद, सांसद अपनी कुर्सियों पर शांतिपूर्वक बैठे हुए हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षदों के तीनों तरफ बीजेपी के पार्षद खड़े होकर चिल्ला रहे हैं। भाजपा के लोग आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता संजय सिंह जी, सुशील गुप्ता जी, एनडी गुप्ता के एकदम चेहरे के सामने आकर चिल्ला रहे है। लेकिन फिर भी आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायक, पार्षद, सांसद शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से अपनी कुर्सी पर बैठे हुए हैं। तीसरे वीडियो में भी दोनों तरफ बीजेपी के पार्षद खड़े होकर नारेबाजी कर रहे हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी के पार्षद अपनी कुर्सियां भी नहीं छोड़ रहे है। वह सब अपनी कुर्सी पर बैठे हुए हैं। कोई न रिएक्ट कर रहा है और न ही रिस्पॉड कर रहा है। भाजपा के पार्षद 10-15 मिनट तक वैल में खड़े होकर के नारेबाजी, गाली गलौज, बदतमीजी करते रहे। इनका प्लेकार्ड कह रहा है कि शपथ को चलने दो, हमें शपथ लेने दो। लेकिन तबतक शपथ हो चुकी थी। इसका मतलब यह है कि बीजेपी वाले तरह-तरह से हंगामे की तैयारी से आए थे। उन्होंने किसी न किसी तरीके से सदन को स्थगित करने का सोचा हुआ था। इसलिए उन्होंने जानबूझकर पहले नॉमिनेटेड काउंसलर्स की शपथ करवाई कि हम रोकेंगे। उन्होंने पहले से ही इसे लेकर आने को कहा था। बीजेपी की पार्षद मैडम को पता नहीं चला कि किस मुद्दे पर हमें हंगामा करना है। उन्हें सिर्फ ये पता था कि हंगामा करना है। यह प्लैकार्ड उन्होंने उठा लिया।
विधायक आतिशी ने कहा कि मैंने आप लोगों को 5 ऐसे वीडियो दिखाए। जहां पर साफ दिख रहा कि बीजेपी के पार्षद हंगामे की तैयारी से आए। वहीं आम आदमी के पार्षद चुपचाप बैठे रहें। क्योंकि हम चाहते थे कि मेयर का चुनाव हो और दिल्ली को जल्द मेयर मिल जाए। खुद अपने पार्षदों की गुंडागर्दी को बहाना बनाते हुए 2:54 मिनट पर सदन स्थगित करने से पहले सत्या शर्मा अपने आफिस में नहीं बैठी थी। वह सदन के बाहर बीजेपी के नातओं के साथ खड़ी रहीं। हरीश खुराना जी उन्हें कागज पर चीजें लिखकर बताते रहे। उन्होंने 2:54 मिनट पर आकर अपने ही पार्षदों की गुंडागर्दी को बहाना बनाते हुए, सदन को अनिश्चित काल के लिए स्थगित कर दिया। आप देख सकते हैं कि सुबह 10.45 से 2:55 मिनट के घटनाक्रम से साफ है कि आम आदी पार्टी मेयर का चुनाव चाहती थी और बीजेपी मेयर का चुनाव किसी भी हालत में नहीं होने देना चाहती थी। मगर भाजपा यह चाहती थी कि मेयर का चुनाव किसी भी हालत में न हो।
आम आदमी पार्टी की वरिष्ठ नेता आतिशी ने कहा कि मैं आज सभी मीडिया के साथियों के माध्यम से भाजपा को यह चुनौती देना चाहती हूं कि ‘उनके नेताओं, सांसद, विधायकों, पार्षदों ने बाहर आकर झूठ बोल रहे हैं कि आम आदमी पार्टी ने बदतमिजी, गुंडागर्दी और नारेबाजी की है। तो भाजपा के सदन में 105 पार्षद, 7 सांसद और 10 मनोनीत पार्षद हैं उन सभी को मेरा चैलेंज है, कि वह ऐसा एक भी वीडिया दिखा दे, जिसमें आम आदमी पार्टी के किसी भी पार्षद, विधायक या सांसद ने गाली गलोच, गुंडागर्दी, बदतमीजी या सदन की कार्यवाही को रोकने की कोशिश करते दिखाई दे रहे हैं। अगर यह आम आदमी पार्टी पर इलजाम लगा रहे हैं तो उसका कोई भी एक वीडिया जनता के सामने रखें, वरना यह इस बात को मान लें कि वह लोकतंत्र की हत्या करना चाहते हैं। यह माने कि भाजपा गुंडागर्दी के जरिए चुनाव हारने के बावजूद विपक्ष में बैठने को तैयार नहीं है औऱ आम आदमी पार्टी के मेयर या सरकार बनने में खलल डाल रही है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के लीडर ऑफ द हाउस मुकेश गोयल ने कहा कि ‘ज्यादातर पत्रकार भी सदन की कार्यवाही के समय मौजूद थे, सभी ने देखा कि हम हर हालात में चाहते थे कि मेयर का चुनाव हो, हमारे पास संख्याबल है। सांसद, विधायक औऱ निगम पार्षद मिलाकर 151 वोट हैं, जबकि भाजपा के पास सब मिलाकर 113 वोट हैं। मगर वह बार-बार असंवैधानिक तरीके से काम करते हैं। चाहे वो मनोनीत सदस्य को वोट देने की अधिकारी की बात हो या भाजपा के कहने पर पीठासीन अधिकारी के निर्णय की बात हो, इन सभी मामलों में हमें अपना विरोध दर्ज कराना होगा। उसे मानना या न मानना पीठासीन अधिकारी के ऊपर निर्भर करता है। इतना सब होने के बाद भी हमने सभी सदस्यों की शपथ करवाई, क्योंकि भाजपा शपथ के दौरान ही हंगामा कराना चाहती थी। इसके बाद मेयर के चुनाव के लिए हमने पीठासीन अधिकारी से कौन-कौन वोट डाल सकता है उन लोगों की सूची मांगी तो पीठासीन अधिकारी महोदय दो मिनट के लिए सदन को स्थगित कर रही हूं कहकर 15 मिनट के बाद आई। इसके बाद भी उन्होंने हमें मतदाताओं की कॉपी नहीं दी, पीठासीन अधिकारी की मंशा थी कि वह मनोनीत सदस्यों को भी वोट करने का अधिकार दें, जबकि यह संविधान के दायरे में नहीं आता और न ही एमसीडी के एक्ट में आता है। तीन-तीन बार हाई कोर्ट की बेंच ने फैसले दिए हैं कि मनोनीत सदस्यों को सदन में मतदान का कोई अधिकार नहीं है। उसके बावजूद भी भाजपा हर तरह का प्रयास करने में लगी हुई है। हालांकि अगर वह 10 सदस्य भी शामिल कर लें तो भी इनकी संख्या 123 बैठती है और आम आदमी पार्टी की 151 है। हमारे सभी पार्षद, विधायक और सांसद रात 8 बजे तक सदन के अंदर डटे रहे कि पीठासीन अधिकारी दोबारा सदन को बुलाए और मेयर का चुनाव हो।
उन्होंने कहा कि ‘आप’ के वरिष्ठ नेता दुर्गेश पाठक ने हर पार्षद, विधायक और सांसद की परेड भी कराई कि सभी 151 सदस्य सदन में मौजूद थे। मगर भाजपा को डर लगा हुआ था उन्होंने दो दिन पहले अफवाह फैला रखी थी कि हमने आम आदमी पार्टी के 15 पार्षद तोड़ लिए हैं, लेकिन आप के नेता बिकने वाले नहीं है। यही बात भाजपा के समझ में आ गई थी कि आज हमारी बुरी तरह हार होगी, वह अपनी हार पचा नहीं पा रहे थे। भाजपा 15 साल एमसीडी में रही है, अगर इस बार दिल्ली की जनता ने आम आदमी पार्टी को चुना है, तो भाजपा इसे क्यों नहीं स्वीकार रही है। दिल्ली की जनता का फैसला नहीं स्वीकार रही बल्कि चोर दरवाजे से एमसीडी की सत्ता हासिल करने का प्रयास कर रही है। लोकतंत्र के अंदर पक्ष और विपक्ष दोनों को अपनी बात उठाने का अधिकार है। महापौर का चुनाव कल हो जाना चाहिए था, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हो सका यह बहुत शर्मनाक बात है। भाजपा के लोग मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी और उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया जी के खिलाफ भद्दे-भद्दे नारे लगाते रहे लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी के सभी नेता शांति से देखते रहे क्योंकि हम चाहते थे कि मेयर का चुनाव हो और दिल्ली की जनता ने जो जनादेश दिया है उसका पालन होना चाहिए। एमसीडी चुनाव हुए आज 50 दिन हो गए मगर अभी तक मेयर का चुनाव नहीं हो पाया, भाजपा के पास अगर संख्याबल हैं तो वह भाग क्यों रही है। पीठासीन अधिकारी भी सदन को स्थगित करके इसलिए भाग गईं क्योंकि उन्हें पता था कि आम आदमी पार्टी के सभी 151 सदस्य मौजूद हैं तो उनका मेयर बन जाएगा। इसी कारण से यह सभी ड्रामा हुआ है।
