Amidst electoral preparations, AAP’s Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister, Shri Gopal Rai, convened a powerful ‘Sankalp Sabha’ in Krishna Nagar Assembly of the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency under AAP’s ‘Jail ka Jawab Vote se’ campaign. The AAP Delhi State Convenor passionately administered the oath to attendees, urging them to answer ‘Jail ka Jawab’ with their votes. He warned of the grave threat to the country’s constitution and democracy posed by CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, as a precursor to BJP’s dictatorial regime.
Meanwhile, Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Rakhi Birla, accompanied by MLA Shri Durgesh Pathak, echoed similar sentiments at a ‘Sankalp Sabha’ in Rajinder Nagar Assembly, lambasting BJP as a party of corrupt and rapists. Rakhi Birla highlighted AAP’s commitment to women’s safety, emphasizing the need for voters to support AAP for the security of their sisters and daughters.
AAP Delhi State Convenor Shri Gopal Rai said that the bugle for Lok Sabha elections has been blown in the country. BJP leaders no longer have faith in Modi ji. They (BJP) changed their candidate out of fear. They thought that they had brought a new candidate earlier and now they will bring a new one. But this time this trick is not going to work. Because this time Shri Kuldeep Kumar is going to be the MP from East Delhi, who is a grounded leader. Shri Arvind Kejriwal has worked for health, education, women, youth and the elderly in Delhi. That is why BJP conspired to put Shri Arvind Kejriwal in jail, so that the AAP which is working for Delhiites is finished.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor mentioned, “What happened in Surat elections was just a trailer. If BJP wins, the people of the country will not have the right to vote. This is not an election to elect MPs and Prime Minister, if they miss this time, the constitution of the country will not be saved. Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest is just a trailer. Shri Arvind Kejriwal worked to provide electricity, water, health, education, free bus travel to women to the people of Delhi. BJP put such a Chief Minister in jail in a false case. BJP wants to break Shri Arvind Kejriwal. This is an insult to Delhiites. Therefore, if we want to save the country from BJP’s dictatorship, we will have to forget who is Congress and who is AAP. Because if BJP comes to power again, the constitution will not survive. This is an election to save the country. This time we have to answer jail with our votes and remove BJP’s dictatorial government from the country.
At the same time, during the ‘Sankalp Sabha’ in Rajinder Nagar, Deputy Speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly and MLA Rakhi Birla said that till now the people of Delhi have been voting for Shri Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi because we had to change the condition and direction of Delhi, change the future of the children of Delhi, ensure the safety of our daughters. But this time’s election is very historic. We have to attack the rising inflation in the country under the BJP government by voting for ‘Jhadu’ (AAP’s symbol).
“The Modi government plundered the kitchens and today the price of cylinders has increased from ₹400 to ₹1200. The BJP used to be a party of corrupt people, but now it seems to be a party of rapists too. PM Modi’s BJP has given tickets to the persons who have exploited hundreds of women and harassed the female wrestlers who have brought glory to the country and when action is taken, the BJP works to help these people escape. This is an appeal to the people of Delhi to vote for their son Shri Arvind Kejriwal to ensure the safety of their daughters. He has equipped every nook and corner of Delhi with CCTV cameras,” She affirmed.
While addressing a ‘Sankalp Sabha’ in Rajinder Nagar Assembly, MLA Shri Durgesh Pathak said that in a democracy, the public is the master. PM Narendra Modi is doing great injustice to your son Shri Arvind Kejriwal. He knows that in this country only Shri Arvind Kejriwal can compete with him. They want to break and bend Shri Arvind Kejriwal. If he joins the BJP tomorrow, the entire case will be over. Shri Arvind Kejriwal left his income tax job to serve the country and started working for the public by roaming in the streets. Today PM Narendra Modi is implicating Shri Arvind Kejriwal in a wrong case. Therefore, all the people should gather on 25th May and get themselves and their neighbors to press the ‘Jhadu’ (Broom) button.
