NEW DELHI:
Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP National Convenor and Delhi’s CM, has sent his first message from jail, a strong and poignant message to the people of Delhi and the nation. Following his arrest in connection with an alleged liquor case on March 21st, the Delhi CM’s message marks a significant address to the compatriots. During a press conference, his wife Sunita Kejriwal on Saturday, conveyed the CM’s message to the public. In his statement, Shri Arvind Kejriwal emphasized the presence of numerous internal and external forces seeking to weaken the country, urging vigilance and unity to overcome them.
His wife Smt Sunita Kejriwal today read out the message saying that your son and your brother Arvind Kejriwal has sent a message for you from jail: “My dear compatriots, I have been arrested yesterday. Whether inside or outside, I will continue to serve the country every moment. Every moment of my life is dedicated to the nation, every ounce of my body is for the country. My life on this earth is for the struggle, I have struggled a lot till today, and there are still many struggles written in my life ahead. So, this arrest does not surprise me. I have received a lot of love from you.”
“In my past life, I must have done a lot of good deeds to be born in a great country like India. We have to make India great again, make it the most powerful and number one country in the world. There are many powers within and outside India that are weakening India, we need to be aware and identify these powers and defeat them. There are many such people and forces in India who are patriotic and want India to progress. We need to connect with these forces and strengthen them further,” Smt. Sunita Kejriwal read.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal further wrote, “My mother and sisters in Delhi might be thinking, Kejriwal has gone inside, now don’t know whether we’ll get the ₹1,000 per month or not. I appeal to all my mothers and sisters to trust in their brother and son. There are no such bars of jail which can put your brother and son (Kejriwal) behind bars for too long. I will come out soon and fulfill my promise. Has it ever happened that Kejriwal made a promise and didn’t fulfill it? Your brother, your son, is made of iron, and is very strong.”
“Just one request, please go to the temple once and pray to God for me. The blessings of crores of people are with me, that’s my strength. I also appeal to all the workers of the Aam Aadmi Party that social service and public service should not stop because of my imprisonment. And yes, don’t hate the BJP folks for this reason, they are all our brothers and sisters. I will return soon, your own Arvind, Jai Hind,” Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s message concluded.
