Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convener and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai on Monday held a ‘Sankalp Sabha’ (resolution meeting) in Patel Nagar assembly segment and Janakpuri Assembly segment of New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency under the ‘Jail ka jawab, Vote se’ campaign. The people who came to the meeting organized in support of INDIA alliance candidate Shri Somnath Bharti pledged to answer the jail politics with their votes. Shri Gopal Rai said that there is a wave ‘Ab ki baar, BJP ki haar’ (This time it’s BJP’s defeat) all over Delhi. Today, the whole of Delhi is saying that this time the MP who works and not the useless one has to win.
During the resolution meeting, AAP’s Delhi State Convener Gopal Rai said that the bugle of Lok Sabha elections has been sounded in the entire country. Since Shri Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail after getting bail from the Supreme Court, all the leaders of the BJP, from the Home Minister of the country to the lowest rung leaders are saying that on June 2, we will put Arvind Kejriwal in jail again. Everyone in Delhi is saying that they elected BJP MPs for 10 years, but they did not do anything for Delhi. The people of New Delhi Lok Sabha also elected Bharatiya Janata Party MP for 10 full years. Shri Gopal Rai said that many people come among you and say that last time we (BJP) won by so many votes, we will win again. The BJP people are going around explaining this mathematics. When the BJP people come to you, tell them that the BJP won the elections twice in the last 10 years because till now, the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress were fighting elections separately. Due to this, the votes got divided and the BJP benefited from it. This time, to save the country, the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are contesting the elections together under the INDIA alliance. This time, there is no chance for the BJP to win.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor said that they have arrested your Chief Minister, now they are preparing to put him in jail again on June 2.
