Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party Convenor Shri Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the 140-crore compatriots to fight against the dictatorship the country has been going through.
Addressing media persons outside his residence after getting released from the Tihar jail this evening, Shri Arvind Kejriwal thanked the people with whose blessings he got released today. “I got a chance to campaign in the elections. I want to thank crores of people of the country, they sent their prayers, they sent their blessings, because of which I am back among the people today. And I worship Hanuman ji, with whose blessings I have come out of jail today,” he said.
Reiterating his commitment to save democracy, the AAP National Convenor appealed to the people: “Today the country is going through a period of dictatorship. Our country is more than 4000 years old; our country is a great country. But whenever anyone tried to impose dictatorship on this country, people never tolerated it. Today the country is going through a period of dictatorship. I am fighting against it with my body, soul, and all means. But 140-crore people will have to come together and defeat this dictatorship. I appeal to the people that we all have to come together to save the country.”
The chief minister said that tomorrow at 11 am he will go to Hanuman temple in Connaught Place to take blessings of Hanuman ji and appealed to all the people to reach there to take blessings of Hanuman ji. I will go to party office at 1 pm and hold a press conference there.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said there is a road show in South Delhi tomorrow and he will participate in it with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
