Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s health is deteriorating rapidly, with his weight dropping by 8 kg since his arrest on March 21. From 70 kg at the time of his arrest, the Delhi CM’s weight has fallen to a worrying 62 kg as of Saturday, June 22. Despite urgent recommendations from Max Hospital doctors for comprehensive tests, only some blood tests have been conducted by the medical board in custody, leaving critical heart and cancer screenings pending. The AAP highlights the severity of Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s condition, pointing out his demand for additional seven days of interim bail when it ended, to complete the necessary medical evaluations. The continuous weight loss during his judicial custody has sparked significant concern about his health and well-being.
The continuous weight loss, deemed very serious by the doctors, highlights the necessity for immediate and thorough medical evaluations to address and understand the root cause of Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s health decline.
The Aam Aadmi Party said that when CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal was weighed on Saturday, it was found that his weight is continuously falling. On Saturday, June 22, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal weighed 62 kg. Whereas when Shri Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21, 2024, his weight was 70 kg. After the interim bail period ended, when he went back to judicial custody on June 2, his weight had come down to 63.5 kg. In this way, his weight has dropped by a total of 8 kg in such a short time.
The Aam Aadmi Party says that Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s weight has been continuously decreasing in custody. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s weight loss is continuing. Losing 8 kg weight in such a short time is a matter of great concern. Seeing CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s decreasing weight, the AIIMS medical board has asked to include ‘Parathas’ and ‘Puri’ in his diet.
“We had demanded an extension of Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s interim bail for a week. Because even then we feared that Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s health needs to be thoroughly examined. Doctors of Max Hospital had advised to get several tests done given Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s decreasing weight. This also includes many serious tests,” the AAP mentioned.
At the same time, the AIIMS medical board has so far conducted only basic tests of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, which are related to blood. But the rest of the tests, especially those related to heart and cancer, have not been conducted by the AIIMS medical board yet. Meanwhile, the loss of weight of Shri Arvind Kejriwal in the test report that came on Saturday is a matter of concern. This shows that the Chief Minister’s weight is continuously decreasing.
