The Aam Aadmi Party’s Trade Wing on Tuesday announced ‘10 Guarantees’ that will be provided to the businessmen of Delhi after the party forms the government at the MCD next month. AAP Trade Wing Convenor Shri Brijesh Goyal and President Shri Subhash Khandelwal led a march at Kashmere Gate Market at 12 noon today and formally launched the guarantees that the party will provide to the over 20 lakh businessmen of Delhi.
These guarantees have been designed after speaking to traders across the markets of Delhi and their focus is to solve the problems that the business community in Delhi have been facing under the BJP-ruled MCD. In the past, several meetings were held with different market associations and businesspersons and these guarantees incorporate the suggestions that were suggested by these people. It is after a long ranging discussion and brainstorming with all the stakeholders that the blueprint of ‘10 Guarantees for Traders’ was prepared.
At the Kashmere Gate market on Tuesday, Shri Brijesh Goyal and General Secretary Shri Vishnu Bhargava also said that if shopkeepers, factory owners, hotel-restaurants, banquets, women traders are included in Delhi, then the city has over 20 lakh traders and till date no other political party has issued a separate manifesto for the traders.
The guarantees were finalised after speaking to traders in different market areas such as Kashmere Gate, Chandni Chowk, Khari Baoli, Sadar Bazar, Chawri Bazar, Kamla Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Nehru Place, Rajouri Garden, Rohini, Pitampura, Laxmi Nagar, Shahdara and South Extension. Traders across the city live and work in very different conditions and these guarantees will improve the working conditions for all of them.
Over the next couple of days, the trade wing officials that are present in the different market areas of Delhi will distribute AAP’s guarantee pamphlets in their respective markets and inform the traders what the Aam Aadmi Party is offering them. Shri Brijesh Goyal also said that the ‘10 Guarantees’ were formulated after a month-long exercise in which leaders such as Gurmeet Arora, Tarun Chaturvedi, Deepak Garg, Malvika Sahni, Sudhir Phogat and Sudhir Jain played a vital role in preparing the framework of the guarantees.
Following are the ‘10 Guarantees’ for the traders of Delhi
- Resolution of the issue of conversion charges and parking charges
- Parking arrangement in association with the local market
- Freedom from ‘Inspector Raj’ and ‘Recovery Raj’
- Shops sealed by the MCD will be de-sealed
- Simplification of various licences of the MCD
- Freedom from the fear of sealing
- Simplification of approval of building plans by the MCD
- Proper arrangement of cleanliness in the markets
- Prohibition on increase of all taxes like house tax, trade/factory licence, etc.
- Proper arrangement of toilets for women in the markets

दिल्ली के 20 लाख व्यापारियों को साधने की तैयारी में आम आदमी पार्टी

नगर निगम चुनावों में कारोबारियों को साधने के लिए आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) की ट्रेड विंग ने व्यापारियों के लिए 10 गारंटी तय की हैं। कश्मीरी गेट मार्केट में आज दोपहर 12 बजे इन गारंटियों की औपचारिक लॉन्चिंग हो गई। इस दौरान हाथों में तख्ती लेकर पदयात्रा भी निकाली गई।
आप ट्रेड विंग के संयोजक बृजेश गोयल और अध्यक्ष सुभाष खंडेलवाल ने कहा कि ‘हम जो करते हैं, वो करते हैं।’ दिल्ली नगर निगम चुनाव को लेकर व्यापारियों की समस्याओं पर फोकस है। पिछले दिनों अलग-अलग मार्केट एसोसिएशन्स और महिला कारोबारियों के संग मीटिंग की थी, ट्रेडर्स से गारंटियों को लेकर सुझाव भी मांगे गए। उनसे सभी मुद्दों पर मंथन किया। तब जाकर ‘व्यापारियों के लिए 10 गारंटी’ का खाका बना है।
बृजेश गोयल और महासचिव विष्णु भार्गव ने बताया कि दिल्ली में दुकानदारों, फैक्ट्री मालिकों, होटल-रेस्टोरेंट , बैंक्वेट, महिला व्यापारियों को मिला दिया जाए तो दिल्ली में 20 लाख व्यापारियों हैं। आज तक किसी पार्टी ने व्यापारियों के लिए अलग से घोषणा पत्र जारी नहीं किया था।
उन्होंने कहा कि तमाम बाजारों में ट्रेड विंग के पदाधिकारी हैं, जो अपने मार्केट में गारंटियों के पर्चे बांटेंगे। महीनेभर से गारंटियों की रूपरेखा बना रहे थे। बृजेश गोयल ने बताया कि गारंटी की रूपरेखा तैयार करने में ट्रेड विंग के, गुरमीत अरोड़ा, तरुण चतुर्वेदी, दीपक गर्ग, मालविका साहनी, सुधीर फोगाट और सुधीर जैन ने अहम भूमिका निभाई है। मालूम हो कि कश्मीरी गेट, चांदनी चौक, खारी बावली, सदर बाजार, चावड़ी बाजार, कमला नगर, लाजपत नगर, नेहरू प्लेस, राजौरी गार्डन, रोहिणी, पीतमपुरा, लक्ष्मी नगर, शाहदरा और साउथ एक्स जैसे बाजारों के ट्रेडर्स को साधने की जरूरत है। ये सभी दिल्ली के विभिन्न इलाकों में रहते हैं। इनके कर्मचारियों की संख्या भी अच्छी है।

- बाजारों में साफ-सफाई की समुचित व्यवस्था
- हाउस टैक्स, ट्रेड/फैक्ट्री लाइसेंस आदि सभी टैक्स की बढ़ोत्तरी पर रोक
- बाजारों में महिलाओं के लिए टॉयलेट्स की उचित व्यवस्था
