The Aam Aadmi Party’s ‘Jail ka Jawab, Vote se’ door-to-door campaign gained momentum on Friday, with AAP’s Delhi State Vice President Shri Jarnail Singh, along with other AAP workers canvassing in Tilak Nagar for its West Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Mahabal Mishra. Shri Jarnail Singh went door to door and informed people about the conspiracy behind BJP sending CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal to jail.
The Aam Aadmi Party has nominated Shri Mahabal Mishra as its candidate from West Delhi Lok Sabha under the INDIA alliance. Shri Jarnail Singh appealed to the people to take revenge from the BJP for sending CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal to jail by making the candidate of INDIA alliance win with huge margin of votes. There is outrage amongst the people regarding the arrest of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. People have been saying that the BJP wants to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party, but we will not let its conspiracy succeed under any circumstances.
During the campaign, Shri Jarnail Singh said that the Modi government has become blind due to intoxication of power. There is immense anger amongst the people of Delhi due to the arrest of Shri Arvind Kejriwal by the Modi government. Now this anger has taken the form of a slogan that “Jail ka Jawab, Vote se” (We will answer the arrest by voting) and this slogan is being raised in every corner of Delhi.
He said that Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal has built excellent schools for children, made free travel in buses for women in Delhi, built excellent roads, made water and electricity free, made arrangements for free pilgrimage for the elderly and installed CCTV cameras for security in every nook and corner of Delhi. No one had done these things in the history of independent India, but Shri Arvind Kejriwal did it. Therefore, to stop the Kejriwal government from doing good work, the BJP put Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in jail.
MLA Shri Jarnail Singh said that the people of Delhi are very angry with the arrest of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Delhiites will answer this with their votes. We will answer this dictatorship, ‘Hitlerism’, and jail by voting and in the coming Lok Sabha elections, we will teach a lesson to the BJP and take it to its end, he concluded.
