Senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah has exposed BJP’s scheme to target AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, affirming Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) intent to arrest him from the very first of summoning. Senior AAP leader and cabinet minister Ms. Atishi amplified these statements during a Friday press conference, shedding light on this political conspiracy. Senior AAP leader and Delhi cabinet minister Ms. Atishi denounces BJP’s orchestrated harassment, citing Amit Shah’s admission as proof of a calculated conspiracy to target AAP leaders. Ms. Atishi asserts that the BJP and PM Modi fear Shri Arvind Kejriwal, shedding light on the true motives behind the prolonged excise policy investigation.
Senior AAP leader and cabinet minister in the Kejriwal government, Ms. Atishi, said that the BJP-ruled central government, their ED (Enforcement Directorate), their CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) have been investigating the excise policy for the last 2 years. Even after hundreds of officers, thousands of raids, they did not recover a single rupee from any leader of the AAP. Still, by hatching false conspiracies, filing fake cases, one by one AAP leaders are being arrested. Initially, Shri Satyender Jain was arrested, then Shri Manish Sisodia was arrested, Shri Sanjay Singh ji was arrested and even after that when they could not stop the AAP, Shri Arvind Kejriwal was arrested.
The Senior AAP Leader mentioned, “Since the day Shri Arvind Kejriwal started getting ED summons, AAP openly said that this is a conspiracy to arrest Shri Arvind Kejriwal, he is not being called for any investigation but for arrest. Then BJP spokespersons and all media channels used to ask that this is just a summons, how can you say that there will be an arrest? Is there any proof? When Shri Arvind Kejriwal started getting summons, the AAP openly said that these are not ED summons but BJP summons. Even then BJP spokespersons used to say that ED is an independent investigation agency, they have nothing to do with this summons.
“But today Amit Shah exposed BJP in an interview. Amit Shah himself said that the BJP ruled central government and their ED had the intention from the very first day to arrest Shri Arvind Kejriwal and put him in jail. Amit Shah made it clear in his interview that the intention of BJP and their political weapon ED was to call him on the pretext of summons and arrest him,” She added.
Ms. Atishi affirmed that today’s statement by Amit Shah makes it clear that the entire matter of excise policy and its investigation going on for the last 2 years is a well-planned conspiracy to harass the AAP, to harass AAP leaders and to arrest Shri Arvind Kejriwal.
“Today Amit Shah has proved, his statement has made it clear to the country that the entire investigation of the excise policy is just a conspiracy and today the whole country has come to know that BJP, Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah are afraid of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, they are afraid of Shri Arvind Kejriwal exposing the 10 years of misrule of BJP. That is why he has been arrested and put in jail,” Ms. Atishi concluded.
