Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and Cabinet Minister Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj held ‘Jail ka jawab vote se’ (Answer to jail by vote) Sankalp Sabha (resolution meeting) in Shahdara Assembly of East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. A large number of people from the area attended the meeting held in support of INDIA alliance candidate Shri Kuldeep Kumar from here. While administering oath to the people to give ‘answer to jail by vote’, Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj said if Kuldeep Kumar has worked in Kondli Assembly, then only you should vote for him. Because seeing the hard work, honesty and diligence of Kuldeep Kumar, the Aam Aadmi Party gave him the ticket from councillor to MLA and now has given him the ticket to contest the Lok Sabaha election. He said that every time the BJP changes the tickets of its MPs by calling them incompetent and takes away your votes by bringing in new people, but this time do not fall into their trap.
Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj said the Aam Aadmi Party has very thoughtfully made Kuldeep Kumar its candidate from East Delhi. The biggest reason for this was that Kuldeep Kumar is young, hardworking, honest and educated. Earlier Kuldeep Kumar was a councillor, then considering his work the party gave him MLA ticket and the people of Delhi also elected him as their MLA. When the party felt that he had the ability and could work hard, he was given the MP ticket. We have come here to seek your blessings.
Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj said that you have voted for BJP MPs twice. First Mahesh Giri came out victorious. You don’t need to say that he is worthless, because his party itself has said that he is worthless. That’s why his ticket was cancelled. After this Gautam Gambhir was elected. We don’t need to say that he is also worthless. His party looked at him for 5 years, then did not give him the ticket again. Because his own party accepted that he was incompetent. But this does not mean that you will be cheated every 5 years. Every 5 years a new person will be chosen, and your votes will be taken away. Then they will say that this was bad, we will bring the next person. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kuldeep Kumar said that elections are on 25th May. For 10 years, you people have given opportunity to those people who came from outside and contested elections here and won, but after winning they never came back among you. Mahesh Giri was MP from BJP for five years and Gautam Gambhir was MP for five years. These two people never came among you and did not do any work. BJP MPs have ruined East Delhi for 10 years. The distance between the BJP MP and the public was as great as the distance between heaven and earth. I am your son, your brother and of your family. I assure that I will work to bridge the gap that has developed between the people. I will meet you on your one call.
Shri Kuldeep Kumar said that Shri Arvind Kejriwal worked to provide electricity, water, education and health to the people of Delhi. Mothers and sisters were given the facility to travel free in the bus. Today Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is inside jail. The BJP has conspired to put him in jail. I request everyone that this time you have to give every vote of your family to bring Arvind Kejriwal out of jail and end the dictatorship of the BJP. The whole country knows that these people (BJP) have increased inflation and done corruption in the country. I have been MLA from Kondli Assembly for four years; I am one among you.
