New Delhi, March 28
Volunteers of the Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday protested peacefully against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at various places across Delhi.
The Aam Aadmi Party workers protested carrying placards outside ITO metro station and Saket metro station in Delhi. The AAP volunteers also distributed pamphlets outside the metro stations to tell people about the truth behind Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest.
The Aam Aadmi Party workers who were protesting peacefully at ITO metro station were detained by the police. The Aam Aadmi Party workers could be seen with “Main Bhi Kejriwal” placards hanging around their necks and held “Main Bhi Kejriwal” placards in their hands.
The doctor wing of the Aam Aadmi Party protested outside Saket metro station. The Doctor Wing President Nimmi Rastogi was also present in the protest.
At the same time, the auto wing of Aam Aadmi Party protested at the Gole Market CNG pump. Auto Wing Chairman Haider Ali was present in the demonstration.
Apart from protesting, the Aam Aadmi Party workers also appealed to the people to come in large numbers to the Aadmi Party’s mega rally to be held under the banner of Aam-INDIA alliance to be held on March 31 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
