The Aam Aadmi Party started the ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign in Delhi, on Friday. AAP Delhi state Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai conducted a door-to-door campaign in Laxmi Nagar area under this campaign. Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai said that the BJP is plotting the arrest of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal out of fear of losing in the Lok Sabha elections. We conducted a door-to-door campaign and asked people whether if there was an arrest, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal should resign or run the government from jail. People firmly said that Shri Arvind Kejriwal has done a lot of work for the public. Therefore, he should not resign but run the government from jail. People also said that all these arrests are happening under one agenda. In this situation, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal should not resign. The AAP Delhi State Convenor shared that from 1st to 20th December, they will conduct a door-to-door campaign at all 2600 polling stations, and from 21st to 24th December, they will hold public meetings in all 250 wards. In the end, whatever opinion the public has, they will hand it over to CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal.
During this signature campaign, AAP Delhi state Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai stated that today the ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign has been initiated. Under the campaign, Aam Aadmi Party workers will visit all 2600 polling stations in Delhi. The way leaders of the AAP are being falsely implicated, first Shri Satyendar Jain, then Shri Manish Sisodia, and now Shri Sanjay Singh have been arrested. Now a conspiracy is underway to arrest CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. In this situation, we are going door-to-door asking people whether if CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is arrested, should he resign or run the government from jail.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor shared, “Today on the first day, we conducted a door-to-door campaign in the Laxmi Nagar constituency and spoke to people. So far, the people we’ve talked to say that CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has done a lot of work for the public. The Chief Minister has provided free electricity, water, healthcare, education, facilitated bus travel for women and pilgrimage trips for the elderly, so he should not resign but run the government from jail. People also firmly opined that these arrests are happening under an agenda. In this situation, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal should not resign.”
The Cabinet Minister mentioned that from today, the door-to-door campaign is starting, which will continue until the 20th of December. After that, from the 21st to the 24th of December, through meetings in all 250 wards, there will be a dialogue with the public, and their opinions will be taken. Whatever opinion the public has, we will present this report to CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. The BJP is making these arrests out of fear of losing in the Lok Sabha elections. Our job is to awaken the public. The people have the opportunity to answer this in the Lok Sabha elections.
