The people’s choice has become AAP’s voice with old party workers getting precedence in the party’s second list of MCD candidates after emerging at top of all surveys. The Aam Aadmi Party announced the final list of its MCD candidates on Saturday. 117 old & hardworking party volunteers with a strong presence in their areas have got precedence in the ticket distribution. The list of candidates was finalised in a meeting of the AAP PAC chaired by AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. The marathon meeting was the second consecutive of its kind. Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party had announced its first list of 133 candidates yesterday, on November 11, giving recognition to party volunteers. In the final list as well, most of the tickets have been given to old workers of the party who work on issues of public interest to uplift people of all sections of society. Before giving tickets, the Aam Aadmi Party had surveyed all the candidates and took feedback from the local people upon their choice of candidates. More than 20,000 party workers had applied to contest the MCD election on AAP’s ticket.
After a meeting on Friday, the Aam Aadmi Party Political Affairs Committee met again in Delhi on Saturday regarding the upcoming MCD elections. The meeting that started at 10 AM and spanned throughout the day was held under the chairmanship of AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Besides the AAP Convenor, AAP Senior Leader and Delhi Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia and AAP Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai were present in the meeting among other senior members. The purpose of the PAC meeting today was to review the surveys and data regarding the remaining MCD wards upon which the party hasn’t yet announced its candidates. After reviewing all the data, the PAC held a discussion over the finalisation of the final list of candidates for the elections.
During the meeting, Shri Arvind Kejriwal sought the views of all PAC members regarding the elections and final list of candidates. After deliberation over the same, the AAP Convenor announced a unanimously approved list of 117 candidates for the MCD elections. In the final list as well, the Aam Aadmi Party has given weightage to the applicants who have made inroads in their areas and are at the forefront of public service. The party believes that if people who care about the public get elected, then people’s problems will be solved on time, and everyone’s cooperation will be available towards making Delhi a clean and world-class city.
Around 20,000 people have applied for AAP’s MCD ticket. The Aam Aadmi Party has taken many safeguards and conducted multiple professional surveys for selecting eligible candidates. The Aam Aadmi Party had long sought applications from people interested in running for the Municipal Corporation elections, so that each applicant could be thoroughly scrutinised. The party conducted extensive surveys of those who applied for the ticket. Local residents provided feedback on them, and every effort has been made to obtain information about the applicants. Following this, every effort has been made to ensure that the chosen candidates win the hearts of the people, so that the public is proud to elect them to the MCD. Through this process, the people’s choice has become AAP’s voice with candidates after emerging at the top of all surveys bagging tickets to the MCD elections.

आम आदमी पार्टी ने दिल्ली की जनता की पसंद को अपनी पसंद बनाते हुए सर्वे में जनप्रिय बनकर उभरे पार्टी के पुराने कार्यकर्ताओं को दूसरी लिस्ट में जगह दी है। आम आदमी पार्टी ने आज एमसीडी चुनाव के लिए 117 प्रत्याशियों की अंतिम लिस्ट जारी कर दी, जिसमें ज्यादातर जनता के साथ खड़े रहने वाले “आप” संगठन से जुड़े कार्यकर्ताओं को तवज्जो मिली है। “आप” के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल की अध्यक्षता में आज पीएसी की कई घंटे चली मैराथन बैठक में अंतिम सूची को अंतिम रूप दिया गया। प्रत्याशियों के चयन में पार्टी ने जनता के बीच कराए गए सर्वे और लोगों से मिले फीडबैक को टिकट देने का आधार बनाया है। इससे पहले, आप” ने शुक्रवार को 133 प्रत्याशियों की पहली सूची जारी की थी, जिसमे पार्टी के 90 फीसद पुराने कार्यकर्ताओं तरजीह दी गई है। बता दें कि एमसीडी का चुनाव लड़ने के लिए 20 हजार से अधिक “आप” कार्यकर्ताओं ने टिकट के लिए आवेदन किया है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल की अध्यक्षता में आज पॉलिटिकल अफेयर्स कमिटी (पीएसी) की अहम बैठक हुई। यह बैठक दिल्ली नगर निगम के चुनाव के लिए प्रत्याशियों के चयन के मद्देनजर आयोजित की गई थी। इस बैठक में पीएसी के सभी सदस्य शामिल हुए। सुबह करीब 10 बजे से शुरू हुई पीएसी की बैठक शाम तक चली। “आप” के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल ने पीएसी के सभी सदस्यों के साथ दिल्ली नगर निगम चुनाव में आम आदमी पार्टी के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ने वाले प्रत्याशियों के चयन पर गंभीरता पूर्वक विचार-विमर्श किया। इस दौरान “आप” के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल ने पीएसी के सदस्यों के विचारों को भी जाना और सर्व सम्मति से 117 प्रत्याशियों की दूसरी और अंतिम सूची जारी करने की घोषणा की। आम आदमी पार्टी ने प्रत्याशियों के चयन में, क्षेत्र में अपनी पैंठ रखने वाले और लोगों की सेवा में आगे रहने वाले पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं को महत्व दिया है। आम आदमी पार्टी का मानना है कि जनता से सरोकार रखने वाले लोग ही चुनकर आएंगे तभी जनता की समस्याओं का समय से समाधान हो सकेगा और दिल्ली को साफ सुथरा और विश्व स्तरीय शहर बनाने में सबका सहयोग मिल सकेगा।
आम आदमी पार्टी ने पार्टी के टिकट पर दिल्ली नगर निगम का चुनाव लड़ने के लिए 20 हजार से अधिक पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं ने आवेदन किया है। टिकट मांगने वाले कार्यकर्ताओं की भारी संख्या को देखते हुए पार्टी ने योग्य प्रत्याशियों के चयन में कई पहलुओं को ध्यान रखा है। आम आदमी पार्टी ने दिल्ली नगर निगम का चुनाव लड़ने के इच्छुक पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं से काफी पहले ही आवेदन पत्र मांग लिए थे, ताकि समय रहते एक-एक आवेदक के बारे में बारीकी से जांच पड़ताल की जा सके। पार्टी ने टिकट के लिए आवेदन करने वाले कार्यकर्ताओं का गहनता से सर्वे करवाया है। उनके बारे में स्थानीय लोगों से फीडबैक लिया गया है और उनके बारे में एक एक बातों की जानकारी प्राप्त करने की कोशिश की गई है। इसके बाद हर संभव प्रयास किया गया है कि चयनित प्रत्याशी जनता के दिलों पर राज करने वाला हो, ताकि जनता को उसे चुनने में फक्र महसूस हो। सर्वे में जनप्रिय बनकर उभरे ज्यादातर जनता के साथ खड़े रहने वाले “आप” संगठन से जुड़े पुराने कार्यकर्ताओं को लिस्ट में तवज्जो मिली है।
