NEW DELHI:

It’s indeed India’s first AI election where AI generated videos are taking centre stage to generate poll humour while also conveying important truths. So how can memes and spoofs lag behind. Reacting within hours of PM Modi’s post on his ‘X’ handle, which features a spoof AI generated video showing him walking and dancing on stage, the Aam Aadmi Party social media team came up an intelligent yet hard hitting counter. Calling the attention of the Prime Minister, AAP posted a a AI generated spoof dance video on its ‘X’ (erstwhile Twitter) handle featuring PM Modi and his association with Prajwal Revanna, Janata Dal (Secular) Lok Sabha candidate from Hassan, Karnataka.

AAP’s official ‘X’ handle shared an AI generated spoof video, with a Punjabi pop number in the background, in which PM Modi can be seen dancing with Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of severe sexual harrasment and rape charges and recording nearly 3,000 obscene videos of women, and who is currently absconding. Earlier AAP had targeted PM Modi for giving Revanna a NDA Lok sabha ticket and campaigning for him despite knowing that there were serious sexual harrasment accusations on him. The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the BJP of colluding with Revanna in getting him to runaway from India to Germany on a diplomatic passport.

The AAP shared the spoof video on ‘X’ (erstwhile Twitter) which reads, “Hey @narendramodi We heard you enjoy memes! Here is a meme for you. #PollHumour.” Earlier, PM Modi shared a post on his ‘X’ handle, which features a spoof video showing him walking and dancing on stage. PM Modi shared a post by ‘X’ user. Sharing the post and the video, PM Modi said, “Like all of you, I also enjoyed seeing myself dance. Such creativity in peak poll season is truly a delight.”
