Renowned actress Ms. Chahat Mani Pandey from Madhya Pradesh joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday. Dr. Sandeep Pathak, the National Organizational Secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, warmly welcomed Ms. Chahat Mani Pandey into the party by presenting her with a cap and scarf. Ms. Chahat Pandey stated that she aimed to fulfil her duty towards her birthplace by joining the Aam Aadmi Party.
Dr. Sandeep Pathak, the National Organizational Secretary of the AAP and MP Rajya Sabha, stated, “The Aam Aadmi Party’s growing popularity in Madhya Pradesh is remarkable. The public has repeatedly given chances to both the BJP and the Congress, but now they have nothing more to offer. There is little difference between the two governments. The people want to give the Aam Aadmi Party a chance, and our party’s influence is expanding in all directions. Today, we are delighted to have renowned actress Ms. Chahat Mani Pandey from Madhya Pradesh joining the Aam Aadmi Party. The people love her, and her work is widely admired. Ms. Pandey hails from Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. She made her career debut in 2016 with the TV series “Pavitra Bandhan,” which garnered her significant acclaim. She has also played lead roles in popular serials like “Hamari Bahu Silk,” “Pakhi Parekh,” and “Durga Mata Ki Chhaya.” Ms. Pandey was honoured with the Best Actor Award by the National Academy of Television in 2020-21. Additionally, she actively engages in social work and is associated with the Niswarth Seva Sanghathan in Damoh.
While accepting the membership of the AAP, Ms. Pandey stated, “I am grateful to the Aam Aadmi Party for allowing me to become a part of their family and contribute to my birthplace, Damoh, and Madhya Pradesh. It is a dream come true for me as an actress. I believe that while we live our lives, we also have a responsibility towards our place of origin. Fulfilling that duty is also our responsibility. By joining the Aam Aadmi Party, I aim to fulfill that duty.”
