AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister, Shri Arvind Kejriwal has been granted bail by a Delhi court. The AAP Supremo had been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an alleged money laundering case tied to the now-scrapped Delhi Excise policy of 2021-22. There is a festive atmosphere in the whole of Delhi after Shri Arvind Kejriwal got bail from the court. Party workers expressed their happiness by celebrating. On Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s bail, AAP MP Shri Sanjay Singh said that justice has won in the case made based on lies deceit and fake facts.
It’s to be noted that the AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM was arrested by the ED on March 21 in the alleged Delhi Excise policy case. After remaining in jail for weeks, he was released on May 10 by the Supreme Court to campaign for the Lok Sabha polls. He returned to jail on June 2 as the Lok Sabha elections concluded.
Reacting to AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s bail granted by a court, Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh said, “The bail of Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is proof that the justice system is intact in the country. To end the politics of Shri Arvind Kejriwal and AAP, the BJP had made a case based on fake facts, but today the judiciary has slapped that dirty conspiracy. This is the victory of truth. We repeatedly say that this so-called liquor scam has no head or tail. It has been built on the foundation of lies and there are no facts or evidence for it. This decision of the court will increase the faith of the people in the judiciary. There is a wave of happiness among the people of the country and Delhi due to this decision and every worker of the AAP is happy. After the court’s decision came, I met the family of CM Arvind Kejriwal. His family and children are very happy with this decision.”
“This is a huge victory for all of us and a tight slap on the face of BJP. If BJP has any shame left, then BJP, PM Modi and Amit Shah should close these false cases and release the people jailed in fake cases. ED has no facts or proof. They have made this case based on lies under the pressure of the government, so their argument did not work in court. The purpose of this entire case was only to end the politics of Shri Arvind Kejriwal and AAP. We are ready to fight our battle in the judiciary. Now everything will come out. The judiciary is also watching the way false cases are being made. BJP is the most corrupt party in the world. Today the biggest corrupt people of the country including Ajit Pawar, Ashok Chauhan, Chhagan Bhujbal, Naveen Jindal, Himanta Biswa Sharma, and Janardan Reddy are with Prime Minister Modi and BJP,” Shri Sanjay Singh affirmed.
AAP leaders called Kejriwal’s bail a victory of truth
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann writes on his ‘X’ handle, “We have faith in the court… Arvind Kejriwal gets bail… truth wins..”
While, AAP National General Secretary (Organisation) Dr. Sandeep Pathak shared on his ‘X’ handle, “Whom God protects, no one can harm. Not even a hair can be touched, even if the entire world turns against them. (Jaako rakho saiyaan, maar sake na koi; Baal na baanka kari sake, jo jag bairi hoy) Satyamev Jayate!”
AAP Rajya Sabha Shri Raghav Chadha states on his ‘X’ handle, “Truth can be troubled but not defeated. This is the victory of justice, the victory of truth. Heartfelt thanks to the honorable court for granting bail to Arvind Kejriwal ji.”
Meanwhile, Senior AAP Leader and Cabinet Minister in Delhi Government Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj, “I feel that CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal getting bail from the lower court has proved to be a milestone not just for Delhi and the common person but for the entire country. This decision will become a very big example in our entire judicial system because in PMLA cases it is often seen that if any relief is obtained in this regard, it is not obtained from the lower court or the high court, but from the Supreme Court. However, within the justice system, any court can make a decision based on justice.
“Secondly, when this matter was being debated, Central Government’s ASG Raju said that when we do not have evidence in any case, we have to make government witnesses. And if we have to get a testimony from the approver then we have to give some kind of inducement. Through this, it has become clear to the whole of India that the Central Government does not have any evidence in this matter. That is why the children of big businesspersons were put in jail, they were harassed, they were pressured and lured that if they testified against Shri Arvind Kejriwal and AAP, they would be made a government witness. No action will be taken. I feel that today fact has been separated from fiction,” Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj concluded.
