Under the direct instructions of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Cabinet Ministers Ms. Atishi and Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj have initiated a series of pivotal meetings with MLAs, starting this Friday. In these discussions, they addressed pressing issues specific to each MLA’s constituency, signaling a focused effort to tackle local challenges head-on.
As per the instructions of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the government will soon gather detailed information from all MLAs regarding the necessary work in their respective areas. Development projects will be prioritized based on this input. Most issues raised by the MLAs in the recent meeting were related to water supply, sewer cleaning, street and road construction, monsoon preparations, and local facilities for residents.
Addressing the MLAs on this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ms. Atishi said that, due to the model code of conduct imposed due to the Lok Sabha elections for the last more than 2 months, new developmental works could not be approved. But now after the termination of the code of conduct, all the developmental works in the city will start at double the speed.
Minister Ms. Atishi shared the instructions of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal with the MLAs and said that all the MLAs should go to the ground, stay among the people and work to solve all the problems of the people. “Whether CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is inside the jail or outside, he always thinks for the betterment of the people of Delhi. No matter how many conspiracies are hatched against him, Shri Arvind Kejriwal will not let the work of Delhiites stop,” she added.
Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj also said that whatever demands the MLAs have made for development works in their constituencies will be taken cognizance of immediately and all the concerned departments will be instructed to start these works immediately.
Minister Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj said that CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal considers 2 crore Delhiites as his family. Therefore, even while being in jail, his entire focus is on getting the work of Delhiites done. As per his instructions, we will take every necessary step for the facilities of the people of Delhi.
Notably, Rithala MLA Mohinder Goyal, Timarpur MLA Dilip Pandey, Wazirpur MLA Rajesh Gupta, Kirari MLA Rituraj Jha, Sadar Bazaar MLA Somdutt and Model Town MLA Akhilesh Tripathi were present in the meeting.
