Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, along with his wife Smt. Sunita Kejriwal, held six consecutive ‘Nukkad Sabhas’ (public rallies) in support of INDIA Alliance and AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar from the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, on Monday. The rallies, held in Gandhi Nagar, Shahdara, Patparganj, Kondli, Trilokpuri, and Jangpura, drew record-breaking crowds. During these rallies the AAP Supremo expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support, stating that Prime Minister Modi had jailed him to thwart free public services in Delhi, such as healthcare, electricity, water, and bus travel for women. He assured the crowd that these benefits would continue under his watch. Criticizing Modi for increasing inflation and unemployment, Shri Arvind Kejriwal called for nationwide free bus travel for women. He emphasized the widespread anger against Modi’s policies and predicted that Modi’s government would not return to power on June 4.
Addressing ‘Nukkad Sabhas’ (public rally) in Gandhi Nagar and Shahdara, AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that it is the miracle of Lord Bajrang Bali that I am among you people today. PM Modi had tried his best to ensure that I do not come out of jail. But I came to know that many of my mothers and sisters prayed for me so that Kejriwal comes out soon. Many people prayed and kept fasts. I thank my mothers and sisters from the bottom of my heart because of whose blessings I am among you people today. It was no less than a miracle that I came. PM Modi had tried his best to ensure that Arvind Kejriwal stays inside. But look at the magic of lord Bajrang Bali, today I am among you. I missed you a lot. And I know that you too missed me a lot.
The AAP Supremo continued, stating, “I was thinking in my mind that I am a very small person, I have a small party. We have governments in two states, Delhi and Punjab. PM Modi is such a big and powerful man. He is the king of the whole country. Why did he put me in jail? He wants to stop works of Delhi. What is my fault? My fault is that I built good government schools for your children, made arrangements for good education for your children. PM Modi wants to stop these schools, that is why he put me in jail. I told the Prime Minister that if I built 500 schools in Delhi. You are the king of the country, you build 50,000 schools. Then it is your greatness. You want to close Kejriwal’s schools by arresting him. This is wrong. This is not right.”
The Delhi CM mentioned that my fault is that I installed Mohalla Clinics for you people in various places in Delhi. I arranged for free medicines and treatment for you. PM Modi wants to close these Mohalla Clinics. That is why he arrested me. I said that I have built 530 Mohalla Clinics in Delhi. You should build 5 lakh Mohalla Clinics in the entire country, build Mohalla Clinics in every village. Then this is your greatness. Why do you want to close Kejriwal’s Mohalla Clinics?
“Look at the irony, I made medicines free for the whole of Delhi. And when I went to Tihar, they stopped my medicines. They did not give me medicines for 15 days. I kept pleading and begging in front of them. I have been suffering from diabetes for 20 years. I have been getting insulin injections for 10 years. I take insulin injections in my stomach 4 times a day. When I went to Tihar, they stopped my insulin injections. My sugar reached 300-350, whereas it should be 140. It is said that if a person has so much sugar for a long time, his liver and kidneys get damaged. I don’t know what they wanted to do with me?” He asked.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal further said that my fault is that I made your electricity free. Modiji wants to stop this free electricity. Just on Saturday, Modiji’s interview was being aired on a TV channel. The journalist asked that Arvind Kejriwal made bus travel free for women in Delhi. Modiji said this is not right, women’s bus travel should not be free. “I thought in my mind that what problem are you facing? If our Delhi government saved money and made bus travel free for women in this time of inflation, if it provided a little convenience, then what problem do you have? Your greatness will be when you make bus travel free for all women in the entire country. But you want to stop it even for Delhiites. But you don’t worry, as long as Arvind Kejriwal is there, the service of free bus travel for women will continue. Now I have come out, I will soon start your ₹1,000 per month. My mothers and sisters should not worry at all,” he added.
In Patpadganj’s ‘Nukkad Sabha’ (public rally), the AAP Supremo shared that now they (BJP) are saying that Arvind Kejriwal will have to go to jail again on 2 June. It is up to you. If you press the ‘Kamal’ (lotus, BJP’s electoral symbol) button then I will have to go to jail again. If you press the ‘Jhadu’ (broom, AAP’s electoral symbol) button then Arvind Kejriwal will roam freely among you. They are after the Aam Aadmi Party. Everyday they arrest someone or the other. They arrested me. Manish Sisodia, Satyender Jain are in jail. Sanjay Singh was arrested, the day before yesterday they arrested my PA (Bibhav Kumar). Now they say that they will arrest Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Kailash Gahlot.
“We elected a Prime Minister, not a ‘Thanedaar’ (Station House Incharge). Do some good work, people in the country are suffering so much, there is so much inflation. Reduce the inflation of the people, give employment to the children. This is your greatness. From morning to evening, you keep talking about sending this person or that person to jail. They are putting people in jail by trapping them in fake and false cases. They are saying that there has been a scam of ₹100 crores, there has been a scam of ₹1,000 crores. They have done so many raids, but till now not even a single penny has been found. They say, ‘there has been a scam of so many crores’. If a scam happened then someone would have found some cash, jewelry, and land papers. They did not find anything, they have made a completely fake case. You will put people in jail like this, this is not a good thing for the country. There is a lot of anger in the whole country,” he affirmed.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal shared, “I am just coming back from touring the whole country, last week I went to Lucknow, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab. People of the whole country are angry with the BJP. There is so much inflation and unemployment that children are sitting at home after studying. Get it written from me that the Modi government is not going to be formed on 4th June. Modi ji is not becoming the Prime Minister again. ‘Acche Din’ (Good days) are about to come, Modi ji is going to leave. These people also conduct surveys, and these people also know that they are going to lose. That is why you will see how their language is becoming these days.”
Highlighting derogatory language employed by PM Modi in his speeches and interactions, the AAP chief said that Modi ji is abusing these days. “I went to Bombay, there I came to know that the Prime Minister had said in the rally there that Shri Sharad Pawar is a ‘Bhatakti Aatma’ (wandering soul). Shri Sharad Pawar is an 84-year-old man, Modi ji is 74 years old. Should the PM abuse Shri Sharad Pawar ji like this? You may be associated with different parties. But you should respect each other. Modi ji said that Shri Uddhav Thackeray is his father’s ‘Nakli’ (illegitimate) son. What kind of language is this? One day he said that if the INDIA Alliance government comes to power, they will snatch everyone’s ‘mangalsutra’, what is this? These people are completely confused,” he reasoned.
“The INDIA Alliance government is going to be formed on 4 June, and the Aam Aadmi Party will be a part of it. We will give full statehood status to Delhi. After that no LG will stop your work, after that you will have your own LG. There will be an LG of Delhiites, a working LG. We have fixed schools, hospitals, electricity and criminals, now we have to fix the law and order of Delhi. The law and order is deteriorating a lot. Thefts have increased a lot, women do not feel safe. If you go to the police station, the police do not listen to you. After 4 June, they will listen to you,” the Delhi CM affirmed.
We have to save Baba Saheb’s constitution: Arvind Kejriwal
Addressing a public rally in Kondli, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that BJP has made a dangerous plan. They are going around asking for 400 seats. When asked why they want 400 seats, they said Modi ji has to do a big job. Then we found out that they have made a complete plan, if their government comes, then this time they want to end reservation. They will end the reservation of OBC, SC, ST. They have planned to change the entire Constitution.
“Today, we all are very grateful to Baba Saheb Ambedkar and those freedom fighters who gave us such a wonderful Constitution. We have to save democracy and the Constitution and under no circumstances should the BJP be allowed to overturn the Constitution. We have to defeat the BJP strongly. It will be very hot on 25 May, do not be lazy, go to vote. It will be hot, you will sweat, take out all the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress voters of your street and make them vote. Kuldeep Kumar is contesting from East Delhi, his button is at number one and he has to be brought to number one,” the AAP Supremo appealed.
Sunita Kejriwal acted as a bridge between me and the people of Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal
Referring to his days in jail, Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that when I went to jail, my wife supported me a lot. I used to worry a lot about you people. Are you all okay or not? When I was in jail, my wife acted as a bridge between me and you. She used to come and tell me about your well-being and your problems and also used to take my message to you. Today, I have brought my wife, Smt. Sunita Kejriwal, with me.

Despite such scorching heat, the enthusiasm of the people was worth seeing. Wherever Shri Arvind Kejriwal held ‘Nukkad Sabha’ (public rally), people welcomed him with flower garlands and bouquets.
